Fell free to substitute the US for China; AI Overview China is not experiencing a sudden, total economic collapse in early 2026, but rather a profound, prolonged structural slowdown characterized by a property sector crisis, high debt, weak consumer confidence, and deflationary pressures. While GDP growth is slowing, it has not halted, with some sectors showing resilience, prompting analysts to describe the situation as a "bumpy path" or "stagnation" rather than a catastrophic collapse. -

Trump will leave enough of a shite stain behind that you'll have a democratic president next time around. Vance is just another in the long line of inept Trump minions... -

Huh... I've been clear from the start. Iran is playing Trump real well in this war. You're too awestruck by Trump to see the reality of the situation 🤩 -

Trump doesn't seem to care about the constitution if it benefits him, so why would all American's care about it? -
Serious question GI Joe... Do you think the US would have spent any less on your military even if NATO countries had met the GDP spend targets? Another question... What additional spending has the US done because of NATO countries lack of, and where was it spent? Best I can tell in recent memory is that NATO countries supported the US after 9/11 in the skies above the US and in Afghanistan. I don't recall a security issue that involved the US having to protect us.... was there?

Who cares about 1790... Today is today and you need to adjust for tomorrow or see a total economic collapse in the next decade. What's a few more Somalian's in your neighbourhood anyway... you won't even notice them. -

China is not under an economic collapse. It's called a slowdown, just like the US economy. If you can't handle a lightweight like Iran easily how would you expect handle formidable opponent like China. Heck, they're in the background and enjoying watching this play this out as you pîss all your bullets, money and international goodwill away... -
So uneducated.... Are you referring to companies in Alberta, or your provincial government? https://www.alberta.ca/system/files/Premier Smith Letter to Prime Minister Trudeau.pdf In light of Alberta’s unique labour challenges, I am requesting that your government immediately increase Alberta's Provincial Nomination Program allocation to 20,000 annually in 2024, 2025 and 2026. This would support our efforts to address critical labour shortages and supports a collaborative federal-provincial-territorial relationship that respects Alberta’s role in addressing its regional immigration needs. Since Alberta’s program is heavily focused on temporary residents, this increase will support the transition of this group to permanent residency. Maybe you can take Smith with you when you separate... In February, when Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced a provincial referendum set to take place in October, she framed immigrants as a burden to Alberta taxpayers. “Throwing the doors wide open to anyone and everyone across the globe has flooded our classrooms, emergency rooms and social support systems with far too many people, far too quickly,” Smith said during a Feb. 19 provincial address that anticipated a provincial budget $9.4 billion in the red.

You're trying to listen with too much shît between your ears... It is what it is... not quite the wipe out your guy and his Fox News minion Hegseth told you, is it. Strongly disliking Trump doesn't even register in my guiding principles. Why exactly do you rely on him to guide yours? -

1. No, I'm right Bubba... It doesn't take matter what colour you think America should be... it is what it is and will continue to brown out for you, just like a summer tan. 2. Yes it's true and the reason you (and us) will be seeing more immigration in the future. Your low fertility rate is making a lot of news lately; America is getting older and will soon be shrinking Apr 13, 2026, 7:40 AM ETState Street SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), VOO, IVV, SPYMQQQ, DIA, RSP, QQEW, PSQ, SH, DOG, QLD, SSO, DDM, DXD, QID, SDS, QQXT, EPS, SPXL, SPXS, UPRO, TQQQ, SQQQ, UDOW, SDOW, QQQE, SPUU, OTPIX, RYARX, UDPIX, VFINX, SPXE, SPXN, SPXV, SPXT, SPDN, SPXU, SP500, COMP:IND, XAGUSD:CUR, XAUUSD:CUR, DXYBy: Yoel Minkoff, SA News Editor Share Saved Play(2min) Comments (128) Follow Seeking Alpha on Google for the latest stock news The U.S. fertility rate has dropped to the lowest level ever recorded, according to fresh data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About 3.6M babies were born in the U.S. in 2025, translating into 53 births for every 1,000 women of reproductive age. That's nearly 20% lower than it was two decades ago, with half of all American women now reaching the age of 30 without becoming mothers. Times have changed: It wasn't that long ago that demographers were worried about overpopulation and economic scarcity. In fact, that seemed to be the prevailing worldview for decades and only inverted over the last several years. Many women are now waiting longer for children, having less than the replacement rate, or choosing not to have kids at all. If the clampdown on immigration also continues, the total U.S. population is expected to peak around 2029 or 2030, and begin a permanent decline thereafter. That'll have many profound effects, with few solutions in store to reverse the decline. Since the baby boom after World War II, America has primarily lived in a youth culture that encouraged risk-taking and new businesses that built the economy. It's now sharply pivoting toward a geriatric culture, with the so-called "gray economy" and "boomer economy." An affordability crisis is only compounding the problems for the young, ensuring this demographic contraction will have real and enduring consequences. Outlook: Labor shortages are already surfacing in industries like healthcare and construction, while automation and robotics represent as much of an employment impediment as they do a boon. A smaller pool of young workers is also causing concern over the financial health of Social Security's trust fund, and whether it will be sustainable to provide for the needs of the next generation. Serious long-term effects have yet to be realized, but if the demographics follow the current trajectory, it can cause sustained economic stagnation, similar to what Japan has experienced over the past two decades. -

I've told you too many times now... I'm not crying or cheering Iran on, I'm laughing at how well they're playing the economic pressure on Trump. You have to give the opponent a nod when they catch you with a solid hit... -

Yeah, I'm aware Iran is playing the strait as a weapon. It doesn't upset me at all, sans the unnecessary killing, and am just saying what I've said again and again. Take your orange shades off... it is well played on Iran's part. Might be a really bad move at some point but until then, ouch! -

How are you going to pull that one off. Texas home builders have been complaining for a while that the lack of labor is hurting that industry. The immigration policies and ICE tactics you wanted have consequences so no way you're going to find those high skilled high productivity labor people to produce the toothbrushes, electronics, apparel, etc, etc, you're taking from China. You probably didn't want them anyway... -

How short term... for the losing of jobs in that sector or more inflation coming your way? We can't sit this out... it was your guy who caused this mess that's costing every country in the world. I thought you guys held your nose and voted him in again thinking that he would 'bring prices down Day 1' like he said? -

They do, and he's squealing right now... I'm not complaining about the world 'having issues'. It is what it is, thanks to your guy. Well, we know your guy doesn't have class or morals with the mental fitness sliding by the day. Guess we'll have to see how long he stays in office... -

I agree with that.... but here we are in the midst of his second term with one misdeed after another. Sad part is 'that's it's just another day' and nobody pays much attention to it. Hopefully this bad movie is over before the next federal election... -

Very nice.... we all have to do these things while we're still 'young' and healthy enough to enjoy it. Way more intense... One bottle too many and I'm down for the count the next day for sure. You'd think after all these years we'd learn... 😬 -

I think his legacy is mostly written.... and guessing there will be more shame to write about before he's done. This will get sorted out at some point soon (?), but the world is going to be feeling it for a lot longer. SOR's for the 'haves' are being depleted while those most reliant of oil are hurting. Well played Trump... -

Yes, you do produce food.... and eat a lot of it too which is why a large portion of your country is going through Ozempic like Tic Tacs. ~20% of your food is imported where we're at ~30%. Maybe that's the reason we live ~5 years longer you?
