  1. If the corrupt Canada-hating Pcs win the next election, it will be our last. PeePee will immediately bow down to Trump and beg him to have mercy on us and make us the 51St. There will be no more Canada, period! Just showing you how ridiculous your apocalyptic warnings are. If PeePee wins, we'll be ok. If Carney wins, we'll be ok. And oh yeah, you brag about being wealthy and things are so good for you, so just how horrible were the last ten years under the Liberals? Are you better off than you were ten years ago? I'm not very wealthy but I'm better off now.
  2. Usually you're pretty smart but when you come up with ludicrous crap like this, you can't be taken seriously. it's disappointing.
  3. And Carney was chastised for speaking out against Brexit, but history proved him right. Some politicians know populism is an easy route to power, often harnessing what Trump calls his beloved under-educated, but greater wealth is achieved through Free, properly regulated trade.

  5. No, not at all. But he is more ruthless.
  6. Isn't that what I said? And yes PeePee, having been Harper's attack dog, will be in full character assassination mode. He never held any senior cabinet post and apart from "Axe the tax", defund CBC and end all foreign aid, the usual PC grievances, I haven't heard anything of consequence from him Yeah, at that time he hadn't severed ties with a few non-profits. Big deal! "GATINEAU, QC, July 20, 2017 /CNW/ - The Commissioner of Canada Elections has entered into a compliance agreement with Mr. Pierre Poilievre for having circumvented the prohibitions on contributions to a registered party by ineligible contributors." In 2010, a police probe was triggered after Poilievre drove through a Parliament Hill screening gate without being permitted entry by the RCMP. Instead, he pressed the entrance button himself and drove his vehicle through. Small things maybe, but I'm sure the Liberals have better research skills than I have. Personally, I wish the PC's had a wise, dignified leader. Jean Charest, Lisa Raitt maybe. PeePee just doesn't make the grade.
  7. Up 'til now, he hasn't been a politician. I'm assuming he will have a good team for PR and messaging.
  8. Remember NFTs? Such great investments.... "A 2023 study by DappGambl found that 95% of NFT collections have zero market value, meaning that the vast majority of NFTs are now considered worthless. " NFTs were just a few numbers on a hard drive, too. Any gov't investment in Crypto would be stupid and reckless.
  9. Stock markets are regulated, people will always need housing. Crypto, which is unregulated (that's why criminal org.'s like it) is just a few numbers on a hard drive that serves no real need. That's why it's too great a risk.
  10. From many investment authorities: "Investing in cryptocurrencies, while potentially offering high returns, comes with substantial risks, including lack of regulation, vulnerability to hacking, fraud, and market volatility, and the potential for total loss of investment." You may be foolish enough to put all your eggs in that basket, but not a cent of government money should go into it. If PeePee's not smart enough to know that, he's not smart enough to be PM. Which craft are you talking about?
  11. P.S. Gonna stop at the LC today and pick up one of my favourites, Miller High Life, brewed in Canada and owned by Molson's.
  12. Totally Canadian made. He could have held up a Labatts, but they're not Canadian owned. Not as simple as you make it out. And as for political mis-steps, this pales in comparison to PeePee's advocating for the Canadian gov'ts embracing Crypto, a few days before it crashed. That showed a an extreme lack of judgement and forward thinking.
  13. Foam at the mouth much?
  14. I don't think either side is getting its ass kicked. I just hope someone can stop Trump from doing something monumentally stupid (which he is capable of).
  15. Also could be Singh's swansong.
  16. I actually listened to a big chunk of PP's speech today. I was expecting more. Still using the same old slogans, making a lot of big promises "bring prices down, get the economy fired up,.... essentially the same stump speech Trump gave, and like Trump, no no good explanation of how he would do those things. I think PP will win the election, but there's peril for both parties. If the Liberals don't put up a good showing after putting all their eggs in the Carney basket, they'll be in the political wilderness for a few years. And if the Pcs don't win by a big enough margin, they'll be hamstrung by having to lean on someone else to stay in power. Interesting times.
  17. Yet you spent a lot of time trying your best to refute it.
  18. He bragged about it too! Can't you read? Sorry, I'll talk slower and louder for you and just use little words from now on.
  19. Little Donny, too. From Business Insider: "In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," Donald Trump Jr. said at a New York real-estate conference that year. "Say, in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo, and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia." From Foreign Policy Magazine" According to Trump’s former real-estate partner and other sources who are familiar with the internal workings of the Trump Organization, his post-’90s revival may have really begun in the early 2000s with the Bayrock Group, which rented offices two floors down from Trump’s in Trump Tower. Bayrock was run by two investors who would help to change Trump’s trajectory: Tevfik Arif, a Kazakhstan-born former Soviet official who drew on seemingly bottomless sources of money from the former Soviet republic; and Felix Sater, a Russian-born businessman who had pleaded guilty in the 1990s to a huge stock-fraud scheme involving the Russian mafia.
  20. OOOOOH. Eric Trump denied it? Thanks. I needed a good laugh.
  21. Eric Trump in 2014: ‘Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.’
  22. You've heard of Donald Trump, haven't you?
  23. Trump doesn't care about any of those things, apart from how they advance his personal power. Money, power, and glory are what he wants and he is incapable of caring about any damage he does to get them. If he can, he will try to remain in power (and there are ways of doing that). Better hope the Democrats can take back the house and senate in 2026.
