Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?
User replied to Barquentine's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
When you try to justify their actions and shirk their responsibility for them, refuse to say what they are doing is wrong, that is supporting them. What makes it dumb? I described what you are doing, you got no response other than to say its dumb. -
In your chart, the disease trended down something like 18 times. The only time it was ERRADICATED was after the vaccine. No blips, no outbreaks, gone. Erradicated because of a massive effort to vaccinate. Just as it played out in other countries, too.

Well, it doesn't say much for you that you are incapable of responding intelligently to many of the fact-based arguments I have presented to you on this forum when you think I am a brainwashed halfwit. I am still smarter than you are. -
Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?

OK, what was the strawman? What was the change of subject? There is no way to "contain" Iran's threat against the Strait without destroying it... which means attacking them, which is what we are doing now. You are building some impossible scenario to attack Trump with, that somehow he should have been able to stop Iran from threatening the Strait before attacking. When there is no possible way to stop Iran from threatening the Strait without neutralizing the threat. Iran's moral footing has everything to do with this as you are trying to blame Trump for what Iran is doing. Again, you might as well be the other handful of pro-Russian sycophants on this forum blaming Ukraine for the Russian invasion. -
True. Do you not know about Polio around the world, or in India? Do you think those things I stated are false? Point out which of my things you said you don't believe. I can and will gladly show you the evidence. Well, I never made any such assertion... As usual, you can't deal with what I say and have to resort to this childishness.

You were the one who compared this to a ball bouncing off a tree. Every step of the way, I am responding to your stupidity here. Once again, you could have just said it was wrong from the start, we are here because you refused and wanted to play games. We are dealing with it right now, systematically blowing up their military infrastructure along the Strait and seeking out assistance from any allies who would like to help secure it. -
I also provided facts to support my case to refute yours. As usual, you ignore that. Just calling it propaganda doesn't make it so.

Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?

Yet again, you said: "Calling it "wrong" is about as useful and intelligent as calling it wrong for the tree bouncing the golfball you shot into it back at your nuts. " A ball bouncing off the tree is an inevitable outcome of physics. The tree made no choice. Iran made a choice. Predicting that as a possible choice doesn't change that it is, in fact, something they chose and can be called wrong. I mean, with your convoluted logic, you can't say that Russia's invasion of Ukraine was wrong. It was just the predictable outcome of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to join NATO. It was just the predictable outcome; I should have known that was going to happen, just like a ball bouncing off a tree! Can't call that wrong. -

Well, no, that is not what you said at all: "I mean, they can't fight the Americans symmetrically and this is one of their only points of leverage against the US, but they definitely should know that it's "wrong". 🙄" See, you are still defending them, saying what Iran did was as inconsequential of a decision on their part as a ball bouncing off a tree. You are taking away Iran's agency, refusing to call actions they choose to engage in wrong, and blaming what they did on America. If you think they are so evil and repressive, it is not hard to simply say what they are doing is evil and wrong. If Iran sends a special forces unit into Saudi Arabia to rape little girls, are you going to blame America for that too and refuse to say it is wrong? -
Oh man, you broke out all the usual anti-vax literature and talking points! The reality is that polio was seasonal and came in waves, so arguing it was already on some smooth downward trend just doesn’t match how it actually behaved; it didn’t quietly fade out, it stopped once mass vaccination was rolled out. And it didn’t just happen in America. If polio were naturally disappearing, you’d expect it to decline everywhere at roughly the same time, but instead we see countries continue to have outbreaks, sometimes for decades longer, until they introduced large-scale vaccination, and then cases dropped off rapidly. The countries that didn’t vaccinate widely kept having outbreaks, while in America, it didn’t just become “rare,” it was eliminated entirely, which is a completely different outcome. India is a great example, polio continued to impact huge numbers of people well into the late 20th century until they rolled out mass vaccination, and then it went to zero. It’s a pretty incredible coincidence if you think polio just happened to disappear in different countries at different times, always right after vaccination campaigns started, and stuck around everywhere they didn’t.

You were defending and justifying Iran shutting this down, mocking, saying it was wrong. The point you made was to mock calling it wrong and then go on to defend and justify Iran doing it. -

Wow, this whole thing reads almost entirely as a description of how you act on this forum. -

So, you are back to defending Iran again... OMG, it has barely been a week, but yeah, sure, Iran can hold out forever with the relentless daily degradation of their capacity to wage any war. We have already seen a 90% reduction in their ability to retaliate since day one. Once again, it almost seems like you want Iran to win here... -
Is Trump America's First Dictator?
User replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Explain how he is destroying America. If you can't even explain it, why would we notice? You tell us, how many no longer have health care and how is that destroying America? -
Has Canada met their NATO spending obligations in 2023, 2024, or 2025?

LOL, OK, is this the part of the discussion where you just act obtuse and obfuscate now? Yeah, and the issue is the "very quickly" It helps if you stop ignoring what I say, as I said more than you did: Yeah, "eventually," COVID has gotten to the point where it is no longer as deadly, so what? It was not that way initially. It did not happen quickly and we are looking back in hindsight. No one could have predicted perfectly how long it would take for COVID to play out. In the early days of COVID, the IFR was around the 1% mark. 1% is 25 times larger than .04%.

We did not break it, Iran did. If you don't want to help, stop crying about it.

You did not actually address the question or the point... again. Typical dishonest behavior from the cowardly Beaver. You claimed I quoted the headline and didn't read it. I did not quote the headline; I quoted from the article. Once again, you were wrong. You continue to be wrong. You continue to avoid the actual point and own up to it. You claimed that I said "entire" and now claim I was not clear. So, you admit you were just making shit up then? Once again, you avoid the point, avoid admitting you were wrong... No, I literally quoted the article that said it. The Department of National Defence will plant nearly 14,500 trees on military housing sites over the next five years as part of the federal government’s two billion trees program. https://www.nationalobserver.com/2022/08/09/news/department-national-defence-planting-trees-military-housing-sites Nope, it literally said: as part of the federal government’s two billion trees program.
