Jazzy Jazz Crocket Exposed
gatomontes99 replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Wow. A rule 1 and rule 2 in one bad post. You are in rare form today. Why is it that you see these articles about liberals women in power all the time, but almost never about conservative women? -
NYP I am getting the feeling that the Demlcrats want Jazzy Jazz gone. This article is supported by her former chiefs of staff and several other staffers. They detail, with very high specificity, how Jazzy Jazz treats her staff and doesn't do any work. I'd be willing to bet that the DNC has started a smear campaign with the goal of primarying her in 2026.

Lmao...since when? To be fair, there are people on the left and the right that hate jews. But the left has been extremely vocal about hating the jews of late.

WSBT CBS I am late to the game on this one. Honestly, I don't know how I missed it when it first came out. Gavin Newsom funded an office for his wife, in the style of the Office of the First Lady. He called it the Office of the First Partner. That, in and of itself, is not news worthy. What is news worthy is the pay to play, money laundering that went through this Office. The state paid her Office to further her agenda. Her office then paid her nonprofit to produce gender films. Those gender films were produced, in part, by her for profit company. The nonprofit was paid by schools, at the State's urging, to play the videos she made. Gavin's wife netted millions. Did anyone else miss this story? There is an interview at the source above. The video is 5 minutes long and at 4 minutes they really get into what was probably illegal about all of this. But you need to see the first 4 minutes to really understand the way they laundered money so that she could take millions in state funding and put it in her pocket.

Apple to bend the knee
gatomontes99 replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The Uighurs are a Chinese thing. You moved the bar to Vietnam. We were talking about Apple, their use of Chinese labor and their decision to move some production to the US. There was a car shortage because China decided Zero COVID was attainable. Never mind that nearly 100% of the planet had contracted their WuFlu. They didn't open plants so cars couldn't be manufactured because they needed the Chinese microchips for windows, locks, backup cams, lane sensors, cruise control, start seitches, etc etc etc. This shortage highlighted the reliance on Chinese microchips and processors. That is why a tariff (or any tool) that brings high-tech manufacturing back to the US is good for pretty much everyone. China won't be able to hold the world hostage. -

And? We need manufacturing here. What happened in 2021? Do you know why there was a car shortage? -

Yep, the rest of the world can enjoy the free labor of those Uighur kids. What's a little slave labor really hurt when you can post a TikTok about your chai latte. -
Why Are We Doing This U.S. Vs. Canada Thing?
gatomontes99 replied to Zeitgeist's topic in Canada / United States Relations
It is all by design. First, you over regulate. When over regulation leads to supply shortages and higher costs, you subsidize. If you subsidize, then you can control who can do what.- 223 replies

Texas Redistricting
gatomontes99 replied to gatomontes99's topic in State Politics in the United States
It matters because 96% of voters vote a straight ticket: Pew:Just 4% of registered voters support Trump or Biden and a Senate candidate from the opposing party. When two counties dominate 17+ counties, those 17+ counties are misrepresented. Redrawing the map to reflect their political will is the defense of democracy. Opposing that is the support of fascism. -
Why not? Steel production dropped by 20 metric tons under Joe Biden. That production can come back very quickly now that it is competitive in price. Aluminum has had a much larger drop. It dropped almost 100k metric tons from 23 to 24. All of that comes back as we even the cost of imported v domestic production.

Texas Redistricting
gatomontes99 replied to gatomontes99's topic in State Politics in the United States
I don't doubt that both sides do it. But how much is Grok's opinion skewed by a shift in demographics? Trump won the popular vote. That means people changed their voting pattern. Follow that up with the fact that Kamala Harris did not do better in a single county. Texas is a perfect example. What was once dubbed the Blue Valley (aka Rio Grande Valley) is now mostly red. But those team red voters are represented by team blue representatives. Redistricting to reflect those voters' pattern changes is good governance really. Honestly, the team blue runaways are suppressing team red votes. -
https://trackbill.com/bill/california-assembly-bill-495-family-preparedness-plan-act-of-2025/2656010/ ⏫️There is the bill. They will tell you that this Bill's purpose is to establish a legal guardianship for minors whose parent(s) habe been deported. That is the intended purpose. The problem is that the bill is vaguely worded and would allow an adult to take custody of a child for any reason. A kidnapper could become a legal custodian. A school nurse could decide that the child needs gender transition surgery. The opportunities for abuse are endless. What it does, is give a "nonrelated extended family member" the ability to file a single affidavit and then they can make decisions for the child. The law even states that there is no reason to investigate the truthfulness of the affidavit. This is the perfect example of the left stating they have good intentions and then just flat out doing the worst thing they possibly can.
