1. Agreed 2. Agreed but it must also cut spending severely which will never happen. Taxes are no longer about generating revenue. Taxes are now a weapon. -

You realize don't you that "taxing the rich" even at 100% wouldn't be enough to pay for all the spending the left has already done and wants to continue to do. Half of the American population already doesnt pay any federal income tax. -

So it's you're opinion. Notice I didn't cite my opinion but offered evidence by economists who know more than either of us. Every country that is prosperous didnt achieve that prosperity with taxes and public spending. You've been spoon fed lies. That prosperity was built on what people like you consider to be "greed". -

First dictatorships will never be eliminated. As long as power is to be held and wielded some people will want to control as much of it as they can. Income inequality. Here we go. Tell me what you mean by "income inequality". BTW there is a huge income inequality between my income and the income of Lebron are James. You want to help me make our incomes equal?

So you accept that it's ridiculous to claim the new deal ended the depression. Good for you. -
Right climate change. We can't fix homelessness but climate nuts think we can enact policies that will effect the temperature of the earth. LMBO

"Aimed" is the optimal word there. Such programs certainly helped end the Great Depression, “but were insufficient [because] the amount of government funds for stimulus wasn’t large enough,” she notes. “Only World War II, with its demands for massive war production, which created lots of jobs, ended the Depression.” World war II ended the depression? Where have we heard that before? https://www.history.com/news/new-deal-effects-great-depression -
