Pierre has spoken about the recent protests. In my opinion, it's a very good decision. Pierre has distanced himself and the CPC from the most radical "anti-trans" elements of these protests that most Canadians likely will not accept while affirming that parents should be able to raise their kids how they want, which is widely supported across the country. The bottom line is: When you let the government raise kids instead of parents, you get Residential Schools. That's something leftists should really think about...

Very nice to see a Canadian Politician finally owe up to his mistakes. Something you'll never see from the PM... The biggest problem though wasn't that Ford slightly cut the Greenbelt (while adding more than he took), it's that he favored certain developers in the process. That still reeks of nepotism and elitism, things Ford stood against in 2018.

White Man’s Burden

"Making people uncomfortable" could be interpreted as a call to violence. Imagine complaining about Trump destroying OuR dEmOcRaCy after literally setting it on fire in June 2020. -

White Man’s Burden

Several Democratic politicians endorsed violent BLM riots in the summer of 2020 and faced no consequences. Trump told his supporters to remain peaceful and respect the authority. I don't always agree with Trump but this January 6 obsession is pathetic. Some even equate it to 9/11. -
As an American nationalist, Donald Trump isn't as liked in Canada as he is in the United States. A recent poll I found (Source) says that only 15% of Canadians see Trump positively. Of these 15%, most of them are (unsurprisingly) CPC or PPC voters. Most of them dislike Trudeau and like Poilievre. However, against Biden, a lot more are willing to hold their noses for him (30%). His most favorable demographics are CPC/PPC voters, Albertans, young people and men. His least favorable are women, Quebecois, the elderly and LPC voters. What's really surprising is how much more pro-Trump younger Canadians are. Maybe even more than America's own youth. The biggest difference is boomers, who likely see Trump as a threat to their view of what being Canadian is. Or maybe the CBC just told them what to believe. Young people don't care, they use alternative media and get different perspectives.

Bad sign when impeachment turns into a partisan back-and-forth, further undermining trust in public institutions. Before the 2010s, Presidents were impeached because they had committed undeniably serious crimes. Now the two sides live in different worlds, which is dangerous if America is interested in surviving as a single Constitutional Republic.

White Man’s Burden

I was referring to the OP. No one is more obsessed with Trump than people who religiously watch CNN and MSNBC. -

You people care about Trump even more than his most diehard supporters. Impressive. He's lived in some of your heads rent-free for almost a decade now. -
New Political Party On The Horizon?

This thread is really proof to me that few who are already willing to vote conservative with Poilievre will change their mind and go to this instead. The people who do write things like this... -

It's official. All 9 of their supporters are so excited. -

In my opinion, they're more likely to take votes from the LPC, from 120 year olds in Atlantic Canada who don't like Trudeau that much but can't stand Poilievre's "populism" because the CBC told them he's the devil incarnate. -
The Red Tory advocacy group Centre Ice Canadians (formerly Centre Ice Conservatives) say they will have an "announcement of interest". Based off their past posts, they could very well be implying that they're creating a new "centrist" political party.

Trump pleased by Putin's praise

I'm glad Poilievre never gets into this nonsense. Then again, Trump is a hawk compared to Vivek Ramaswamy. God help the GOP.
