  1. do you know what is absolutely comical about your position? You honestly think that those who attend the parades do not know that is this possible. And so then they have the choice to go or not go... they do, seriously.
  2. i love it when school shootings happen in xyz state and the response is blacks are killing blacks in abc state.. the two have nothing to do with each other directly. Someone gets in a car accident in Oregon.. that must be directly related to someone getting a speeding ticket in Virginia.
  3. Unless you did not write this. When someone comes out at the beginning with this stuff.. experience tells me that they do not want discussion.
  4. I will agree but with one caveat. Folks who are obsessed about a topic (gays, trans) either are fearful or are one themselves. Just having an opinion when pressed about it is not the same. In my early 20's, worked with a guy at a bar and grill and he could not help himself. We could be not talking about anything and he would start spouting off about f_gs and how this person or that one was a f_g.. and so on. Well.. found him on facebook and guess what? he is "bi-curious"..
  5. Only way I can think of how to explain this is the following. Most people are aware of the enormous quantity of information out there today as opposed to the 1985 (just as an example). With increased information in general.. they also infer that voting records and data should follow suit. With this expectation of greater volume of information and therefore access.. certain types view the lack of transparency as a conspiracy. Someone is trying to rig the game and keeping the information behind lock and key. They have greater access to certain information than they did in the past.. so why not this? Answer.. laws passed in most states during the LBJ and Nixon administrations. And because there exists no legal way to show every ballot and connect it to the voter by way of SSN, address, and such.. (confidentiality is a bit_h).. this feeds the conspiracy theories. main reason that I do not believe that it occurred in NV is the voting results from 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020. County by county.. the percentage who vote R or D are remarkably consistent. The only difference is the population of 3 counties.. 2 of which were blue counties and have seen major population growth.
  6. https://www.bls.gov/cpi/ inflation has been cooling for a bit. However, neither Harris nor Biden can really take credit for that. This is due to the interest rate hikes and lower demand for certain high priced items.
  7. Without access to every ballot and the voter registration database.. the best that someone claiming voter fraud is demand a recount. Having someone observe a polling site is superficial at best. Mike Lindell's symposium was one of the most braindead stunts I have ever heard of.. and the fact that it was taken so serious is evidence of how devolved humans are. If I was the defendant.. I would come it from the standpoint of past voting patterns (broken down by precinct, city, and/or county.
  8. yes. some do vote however very few. Is it possible to give exact totals with supporting name, address, and phone number? No. Voting is not the first thing on their mind.. I worked with them years ago. Their sole aim in coming here is not voting for some random Democrat that they do not know nor care about.
  9. Like I told the other two.. if you get shingles, you will never forget it.
  10. Well, lets hope that no on on here ( @Goddess included) encounters this problem. In my case, it was mostly too late in my case so just toughed it out. The areas that had shingles have little to no nerve sensation.
  11. not sure if this is the place but I digress. The first sign (at least to myself) was the sensation like I had just touched something with static electricity. Except that the sensation was not on the surface but rather an inch down. Two situations triggered this.. being in the shower or sudden exposure to cold. This persisted for 4 to 5 weeks before the bumps showed up. Along with this was an odd intermittent cold-like feeling. It came and went. Hope that helps.
  12. ibuprofen was only minimally effective. Only remedy that I encountered was some antivirus medication even though it was too late in my case. You are supposed to start taking the antiviral meds before you see the bumps. And then there was some overpriced ointment that supposedly was designed to dull the nerve sensations. Did not sleep much for a week. Probably TMI but whatever.. I had them on the abdomen from navel to spine on the right side.. just laying in bed felt like I was laying in boiling water.
  13. It is largely triggered by stress, lack of sleep, and such combined with your immune system getting attacked. Lets just say that if you have a break out, you will never forget it. Its like the worst sunburn that you can ever imagine, combined with the feeling that you are getting shocked everytime something touches you even in the slightest. Sunburn lasts 1 to 3 days at worst... this can last 6 weeks.
  14. I do not know about the death count. I would recommend getting the vax. You may never have a break out but if you do.. you will never forget it.
  15. care to guess why I do not believe in voter fraud? Here's how.. we did a web scraping where we got every counties presidential election results in 2012, 2016, and 2020. We made a table out of it (long data with counties on the right and the dem vs. rep split in the columns to the right). Almost every county that went Red in 2012 AND 2016 went red again in 2020. Hmm.. so most counties followed a pattern. the claims made by MAGA types is that these continuum got broken. Red counties suddenly went blue. Spare everyone the details but found this to not be the case except for .2% of counties. It just happens that GA had 3 of these counties. What happened in most states is that the counties that went blue by 5% (just an example) in 2012 and 2016 went blue by 8% in 2020...
  16. It would be complex but there is a way to identify the voter.. Just because you program something to remove it does not mean it vanishes. We do the same with unemployment insurance claim data. This is why the most ardent Conservatives want to move completely to paper ballots.
  17. If Trump officials did have DIRECT and COMPLETE access to every single ballot and all information on the voter.. they could verify the existence of said voter against a multitude of other databases such as social security, drivers license, post office. My point in all of this is they do not have this level of access.. hence their claims can't be truly validated.
  18. hint.. they did not have as much access as you think. they saw rolled up totals but did not see every single ballot and the information about the voter. I agree that he lost.
  19. I agree that they are lying but they are ways to show that person x who voted on august 1, 2024 in x city is currently alive. The laws in place prohibit folks from digging this deep.
  20. lets take an example, for county x in state x, Trump claims that 1.200 dead people filed ballots. The only way to definitively, 100% prove that this is not the case for them is to see every single ballot and validate each one. They do not accept the results of these recounts because in their delusions.. they think that it is some cabal working against them. I have worked with an election denier... they will not accept the results unless they see every single ballot. But they do not DIRECT access to every ballot... state laws prohibit this unless you can demonstrate fraud.. Its a bit of a catch 22
  21. Yes, the recounts were done because of him. However, he and his team did not do the recounts nor were they present during the recounts. They do not trust the results found by someone else. Look, i am with you on this one. Just explaining the legal realities involved. The reason that I have access to the voter registration in NV (read only access) is to verify information that I get from UI claims.
  22. my last point on this is that the amount of information on any given health topic is nearly infinite. I had shingles during summer 2020 and when I started looking around for information/remedies.. the amount of information was overwhelming. A lot of bizarre views on the topic. One video said that if I drank lemon juice.. my shingles would go away in days. Did not happen. And when you (gasp!) state that you do not know something.. the onslaught comes. BTW.. Shingles was 100 times worse than covid.
  23. for the umpteenth time.. Yes, the various counties, cities, and such had access. That is not the point. For Trump's campaign to be fully satisfied that the counts provided by the counties are legit.. they need to see every single ballot. Its one of those situations where you tell me that the balance is $100 but I want to see every transaction for myself.. For reasons too many to list.. that is not going to happen. MAGA types complain that this is secretive and such but they fail to see that the laws that prohibit such access date back to the 1950's in most states.
  24. Your whole schtick is that that the kids of millenials are inferior. And yet you fail to take into account that they do not live in the same environment/conditions as you did. We are products of our environment mostly with some genetics built in.
