White Man’s Burden
impartialobserver replied to robosmith's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Not sure what I was expecting but I thought maybe.. just maybe there were politicians who were not phony or fake. Meaning that they did not say one thing in front of the camera or at a rally and then behind closed doors.. change their tune. Well, have not encountered one yet in 8 years. They have this amazing amount of data at their disposal (I know because I am the conduit for most of it) and yet they do not use it or do not have the intellect to understand it. -

Been looking into moving on. Working with politicians and their braindead supporters does leave me a bit too jaded. -

They..along with you say the same things over and over and over again. You both pretend that someone is reading your posts seriously and changing their minds. However, do not let me disrupt your pattern.. you need to post the same thing at least 3,971 more times and get all worked up because someone does not align with you.. Hint.. they never will and you know this. My side is with rationality not defending the team. I know that you can't comprehend that. -

And in the case of the guy who misspelled his own name... how was he conspired against? Plenty of other Trump supporters spelled their own name correct and things went fine.. Why did we not conspire against them? I am a very blunt person and find that few (liberal or conservative) can handle the truth. Everyone considers themselves omniscient, in peak physical shape, and never make's any mistakes. Show them this and the temper tantrums are epic. -

No... but holding on to the mistaken belief that we were conspiring against him because he was a Trump supporter is a special kind of stupid.... sounds like something you would do. Even when his claim went through (and he learned to spell his own name).. he maintained that the delay was because of this. A more rational person would have owned up to misspelling their own name and moved on. -
Here we go again. Covid #2.

I am seeing a very different reaction this time than the first go around. We have met twice with the Governor and twice he has stated that vax mandates are not happening and mask mandates are very unlikely. -

Oh... and get this.. when I asked why he misspelled his own name... he started screaming. This seems like something that you would do. 3 weeks later after he harassed many other personnel.. he re-submitted his claim and this time, spelled his own name right and guess what? He got his benefits. Hmm... Season is not done yet.. only .5 games back in the Wild Card. Better than KC, OAK, or COL. -

And the Kansas City Royals are the second worst team in MLB this year... -

I admittedly have a deep dislike of politics and politicians.. I work with them. However, worse than the braindead politicians are those who blindly follow them. The ones who contact my office... while misspelling their own name and then claim that their issue is due to everyone conspiring against Trump. -

99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% of what is posted on internet political forums is just windmills and mirrors... a farce. The difference is that I can admit to myself that not everyone in this world hangs on my every word.. unlike you and Deluge. You honestly think that the posters here are changing their minds because of your posts... not sure whether to commend your dedication or pity you. -

You should channel this into a novel. I rely not just on narrative. If I say that xyz county is losing jobs... guess what? I can give numbers and not garden variety doomsday rhetoric such as what you put forth. -

You are here.. cool. You being here changes absolutely nothing for me. Much like the sidewalk being behind me. If what you say had an impact.. it would show up in two ways.. 1. Change what they post (from my time here... that has not happened) or 2. They would post less, if at all. You will prevail... care to give an exact time and date... how will the world know that you have prevailed? You know how many times I have heard this... and yet the liberals are still here. But you are being to be right this time.. after 5,671,995,000,000 failed predictions by others. -

And you think that your posts are a "check". you are too funny. If they were.. they would change what they post or not post.. but yet they keep it up day after day, week after week.. unimpeded and unaffected by what you say. But... your posts are so impactful. -
I chose 7th grade because if you make the requirement in 8th grade or basically at the last minute... you will get folks that try to get workarounds because they did not plan. 2 years prior does not give them the wiggle room. I am married to a teacher and so I know intimately how apathetic the parents are. Teachers are just convenient whipping boys for political know-it-alls like you. If the parents and students do not care... a teacher is not going to on their own make them care.

Hmmm.. the same people are saying the same things as they have for days, weeks, months, and probably years. If what you say is so meaningful... then why do you need to say it thousands of times? -
point proven.... so when the maintenance crew came today to remodel the bathrooms.... I should have blurted out something about covid? Because everyone knows that installing sinks and covid are one in the same. Yes... hence why a certain subset of the population will be always be relatively Conservative. No matter how society evolves, changes, or grows.. there are going to be some that want the past. It has always been that way.

Hmm.. no workarounds. Yet they keep responding to you. They same the same thing.. you say the same thing. The same exchange time after time, day after day... but according to you, they are backing down to you, changing their views.. wow, quite the comedian. -

Not an issue of superiority.. Sorry but saying the same thing over and over and over again.. and expecting a different result is not a sign of intellgence. -

and your repetitive responses are the one and only reason for changing their mind? Quite the high opinion of yourself. -

I do not have the delusion that my posts will change someone's mind. Responding to them seven times or 3,201 times.. they will say the same thing and view things the same way. -

Admittedly, i do have some fatigue about politics as a whole. You seem to be someone that can handle the mind-numbing repetition. robosmith says x, you say y.. dozens of times per day every day. I am not wired that way.
