  1. So you can't measure it or quantify it but it is not subjective. Wow... you are special. Beauty is subjective as well.. what you find beautiful, others may not. So, you can't own up to there being no objective, quantifiable measure... so that tells me that you are not honest.. An honest person would simply say, "there is no way to measure it" and leave it at that. What you deem to be gullible.. someone else may not and guess what.. they are not wrong. You can only be wrong when there is quantifiable, measurable data to rely upon? There is no metric for gullibility so nothing to verify. Keep trying for my affirmation and I will keep rejecting you. Crappensburg State... this is what you produced.
  2. First... please do not stop. I am begging you. I think that we need a SNL or SNL-like clip centered on your obsession about Covid and CNN/CTV... I love it how you honestly believe EVERYBODY that does not align with you 100% is someone that has CNN on every hour of the day. Crappensburg State really pushes out some big ones. It is also amusing how you so crave affirmation. You keep responding hoping that I will say, "Oh, you are so smart and I was so stupid".. I know that you quote this.. your game is too easy to spot. When I read your section... I think that you need to learn to write better. Second, if you two believe randomly believe in a topic/idea then of course one is not going to think that the other is gullible. Poor example. Now... lets see something that shows a quantifiable, numerically-based measure of HOW gullible a person is? If you can't (which a rational person with an IQ above 20 would know).. then maybe you should admit that there is no such thing. Eg, if someone else believes in Santa at 35, and you also believe in Santa at 35, your crediblometer will say "That person's not credulous at all. Santa is REAL goddammit!"
  3. Common sense is the catch-all folks use when they can't prove their claim with data. According to political know-it-alls.. the decision to do drugs is 100% tied to government policy. Forget about brain chemistry, prices, etc.. these addicts watch the news religiously in hopes of more relaxed policies.
  4. That is the story for most of Europe.
  5. for a hot minute.. word on the street was that Toronto was the front runner to acquire Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers. Well, that is not happening. Still, Toronto has a solid core of players and should be a playoff team.
  6. for those who have never done data analysis such as the OP, drawing causality is easy. For those who know statistics (not charts and graph).. correlation does not always mean causality. The OP leaves a lot of context in order to make his narrative sound good.
  7. Never been to Philly or Chicago. Portland is a fun place but not sure I would want to live there. A bit pricier than honestly it should be.
  8. You could say the same about a whole series of topics that people whine and complain about daily? Quite pointless and stupid but they have the incessant need to complain and there has to be someone.. anyone that cares enough to validate their whining.
  9. More off topic nonsense. You still can't produce an objective, quantitative based way to measure this. If you were even 1/10 as smart as you think you are.. you would do the following. You would admit that there is no objective way to measure it and therefore it is purely subjective.. What is gullible to one person is not to another person. But that is too much honesty for you. Crappensburg State University has succeeded with you. Do you know you can't admit that it is subjective? You want affirmation of your values and beliefs. I do not give them to you so we get the usual sanctimonious, know-it-all diatribes that keyboard warriors like you push out.
  10. Back to the topic of the OP... Faux victimhood is the new norm in politics. With social media and the Internet.. there is no unringing the bell. Everybody is somehow oppressed and not getting a fair shake. They will not put up with shit any longer.. and yet they do. They talk big on internet forums and in real life.. do nothing.
  11. surprised to see Sacramento at #58. Not a terrible place but rather unremarkable. Edmonton at #67 is interesting. will be seeing that place in August 2024. Been to Victoria and Vancouver and found them to be interesting places but only spent a total of 8 hours in both.
  12. So no objective quantitative measure of gullibility? I can measure jobs, wages, prices with a purely objective method.. so where is the numerical and purely quantitative measure of gullibilty? Instead.. you produce five paragraphs of meaningless drivel that does not even come close to showing this. Crappinsburg State really pushes out some good ones.
  13. Would like to see Germany one day. For someone that likes craft beer (not Bud Light).. Southern Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic would be bliss.
  14. Then show me an objective, quantitative basis for degrees of gullibility. Now spare me your usual circuitous runaround.. You must be a proud alumnus of Crappinsburg State University, home of the Grunts. They must have a course where no matter what you talk about.. you are instructed to reflexively start babbling about Covid or CNN. The rock band, Coheed and Cambria, is putting out a new album as an example. You then give me 10 minutes of covid rhetoric.. even though one had absolutely nothing to do with the other. You are quite the caricature.. hard to take you seriously.
  15. last 3 since the first post 1. Daughter of Doctor Moreau - Silvia Moreno-Garcia 2. Genesis of Misery - Neon Yang 3. All Good People Here - Ashley Flowers
  16. Not going to take your bait... Being gullible is subjective. Wait.. you did not put Covid into the post.. this might be your first one ever. Bravo..
  17. you find a way to bring Covid in to a discussion no matter how contrived. Your dedication is both commendable and simply pathetic. You have my pity.
  18. and the posts of mine that you are responding to... have nothing to do with Covid. So let me guess the Holy Roman Empire and Covid are interconnected.. this should be entertaining.
  19. My first post in this thread was on thursday at 4:58 pm and was singular.. not in reply to anyone. You replied on friday at 9:58 am... game, set, match...
  20. You responded to me first.... it is easily proven. My first post on this thread was not directed at you... i know... everything revolves around you.
  21. Posted Thursday at 04:58 PM Earth-shattering news here.. Another Trump thread. Wow... this one is going to say something different than the other 1,844 ones before it. And it will only get better being as we have an entire year before the next election. A whole year of more threads that say the same thing (both pro and anti-Trump). For those who can read... this post was not a reply to anyone. Who responded to me....
  22. You can't possibly be this stupid? You must be messing with me. Next thing I know.. you will ask what 3 + 3 = ?
  23. So instead of seven degrees of kevin Bacon.. your schtick is the seven degrees of COVID. No matter the topic.. you revert it to Covid.. funny but of no value.
  24. Hmmm... who started this thread...oh, that's right.. a liberal. Hmmm... and so who is the target of my criticism? Oh... again... a liberal. Complaining every day about Trump is 100% pointless. The OP says the same thing over and over and over again (much like you). Again, your passion gets in the way of you staying on topic and therefore saying anything interesting or new.
  25. Some reading comprehension on your part would make you more credible... "They"... means both liberals and conservatives. I would expect you to be able to interpret that one word but I know that your zealousness and passion prevent you from being rational.
