So in short.. no. Why post all this ^^^^ when two letters said the exact same thing? I do not care about all of the details.. all I know is that he has not been convicted yet and many have been predicting for years that it would happen any day now. well.. after so many failed predictions, like any other human.. I tune it out.

when i read about possible voter fraud in my state.. I did not go to CNN or MSNBC. I went to the source.. what a concept. I know how to access the voter registration database and then compared it against the reported results by county. I did this for both 2016 and 2020. The outcome was that they were more registered than voters. OMG.. but then as someone who does databases.. I could tell by looking at the records that it was a matter of no one cleaning the database. Records were added automatically but they had no one to verify things periodically. Second, while I do not have access to the individual ballots.. I can tell how many were submitted (different than counted). The number submitted in 2016 was 1.2% lower than in 2020.. that lined up with the population growth and growth in number of voters (age 17 in 2016 but age 21 in 2020). The percentage of Dem to Rep were almost identical on a county to county level. the number of voters increased but the percentages stayed almost the same. Keep in mind that in NV.. 15 of the 17 counties are red. Only the two population centers are blue.

Battle over Water Rights

the sheer amount of mild, sunny days is why Western AZ and the inland empire of SoCal are used for growing citrus fruits, avocadoes, and certain vegetables with longer growing seasons. However, yes you are correct. The other places, TX and FL, have more overcast days. -
I do not buy into conspiracy theories because every time I really investigate one.. there are so many unanswered questions and/or unprovable elements as to make it pointless. The Russian collusion myth is one of those.. a lot of the accusations can't be proven or disproven. There is no video or audio and so no way to know 100% for sure what occurred or what was said. Alex Jones admitted to lying.. not just getting his facts wrong. Therefore.. can't take him even a tiny bit seriously. To cut you off.. I almost always vote 3rd party. Some local elections.. there is no option or they have no party.

Partially right.. I do not care about every topic. Unlike you, I do not pretend to care about them all. So when I do choose to read about a topic.. I actually try to understand it and wade through the BS. You, on the other hand, cherry pick for something that backs up your narrative. Your diehard partisan ways are evident in your posts... you are always defending one side and condemning the other. I have dealt with your types too many times.

I do hate politics... no real mystery here. Politicians.. who I work with directly are universally scum bags. The R or D next to the name is just a decoration. Work with them behind the scenes and you find it does not matter. Second, worse than the id10t politicians are the supporters. They latch on to a narrative (this would be you) and fight tooth and nail to defend it. Their passion and zealousness gets in the way of them saying anything meaningful or substantial. Do you want to know where I get my info.. hint, its not you. Oh... and its not CNN. When I read about a topic... my mind (unlike you) is trying to understand the topic not justify one side or the other. You are the exception... most do not get this worked up over stuff like this. Day after day, hour after hour.. here you are blasting away. A more rational person would find other more beneficial things to do than to say the same things to the same people and expect a different result.
-
I guess the distinction is that Alex jones' entire schtick is conspiracy theories. Yes, the 3 that you mentioned do peddle some of it but it is not the reason for their existence. I have no patience or respect for those who believe in conspiracy theories. Before you blast away... I never (repeat, Never) believed in the Russian collusion story. Too many holes in the story.

You would be amazed to see how few people are as obsessed as you are. Most go about their lives and then the news is secondary to that. I know.. when xyz liberal person says whatever.. you stay awake at night foaming at the mouth. You are the exception not the rule. Here is where we differ... for a given topic, when I read about it the first question I ask is "what is happening". Not what should be happening. Therefore, no need to justify or condemn actions. Your zealousness keeps you from doing any of the above. For example... we were asked why the jobs number keeps increasing but the unemployment rate is creeping upwards slowly. You do not have the constitution to answer that honestly and objectively. You would not use the data to back up your explanation.. you would immediately launch into some partisan rhetoric.

What I find immensely interesting and sad about you is this assumption that everyone cares about this stuff as much as you do. Most people.. believe it or not, are not as obsessed about this as you. We have lives... give it a try for once. When I I get home.. I do not turn on the TV at all. So guess what.. that rules out your obsession with CNN. Next, when we are on our phones after dinner, kids, dishes, etc.... we go to xyz game or Facebook. Before you blast away.. I have no non-local news in my feed. So tell me how Sean Hannity's tirades affect my life directly and tangibly?

____ history week/day/month is an arbitrary designation. If you do not like it.. you have options.

I worked for Apple for 3 years as a technical support representative. I know exactly what you are talking about. I so wish that I would have received this call but not so fortunate. However, a rep a few cubicles away got the infamous, "Cupholder is broken" call. Care to guess what this refers to?

Propaganda does have an impact.. however, I am talking about the direct, tangible value of a single contributor to this propaganda. By themselves.. they do not impact my existence in a tangible way. The commute was the same today as it has been for 8+ years, paycheck did not go up or down, kids acted the same way as they always do....

Yes, you have an irrational confidence in yourself in order to run a campaign and win. You start doubting your ability to single handedly rescue the world from themselves and the public will tear you to shreds. I would say that Trump is not more or less narcissistic.. he simply projects it in such a way that hits the radar harder. You either love him or hate him.. either way, he gets attention which is what he wants.
-
You can mention CNN as many times as you want... I just can't take you seriously.. not even the slightest. This obsession of yours tells me that your zealousness and irrationality gets in the way of you saying anything relevant. I honestly would not know if they featured this topic.. my guess is that they did but I have not deliberately watched CNN for at least 20 years. Of course, on occasion I would see a TV at a gym, restaurant, etc. that would be playing it but that is the extent of it. "more tailored".. if you were even the slightest bit objective, you would know that there is no way to quantify this and therefore prove that one is more than the other.
-
And you assume that everyone gets 100% of their news and their ideas/opinions from CNN? Goodness.... you must be playing stupid and messing with me. You do realize that there is more than one info source when it comes to elections and politics.... oh but there can't be, this is your Twilight zone-esque fantasy.

Believe it or not.... been hearing it for 30+ years (in person at first and then the internet as time went on). Yeah... manson was special. Having read extensively about him, his plan to start this race war was not political.. not even an iota. It was going to be his way of having folks admire and revere him. That was what he was after. The problem was that his followers truly bought into his lies (and still do). The best one being the underground chocolate fountain that he claimed was underneath Panamint Springs, CA (death Valley).

Death of democracy by boredom
impartialobserver replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I read an academic journal article about 4 years ago and it showed that the amount of folks who are apolitical was both understated and growing. The apathy of the typical voter is growing. With no common enemy like Japan or Hitler to unite the masses.. most are only concerned with themselves and their smaller sphere of influence. I mostly fit that... complaining about Mitch McConnell or Nancy Pelosi does not make my paycheck grow nor does it put food on the table.
