  1. These are all life saving safety features. And it's actually wrong. We had seat belts before mandates.
  2. Soooo - the fact it was written by men who never saw jesus doesn't matter because those men SAAAAY that they they had letters from someone who did. Who may nor may not have been accurately recording the truth. Do you need me to actually explain why that's dumb? I SWEAR that my napkin has proof on it that your'e wrong. I didn't see that myself but someone told me. Now i've written that down for you. So it must be true right? I spoke an eye witness. Honest. And lets face it - that's to be expected. Obviously god doesn't want there to be proof. If he wanted people to believe based on their being evidence he'd just put giant letters of fire in the sky saying 'Believe in me or you're all salt. Seriously- get worshipping or i will flood your asses again right now, i'm totally serious". That'd do it. But no. So he doesn't want there to be proof. And there isn't. So you're wrong.
  3. "Lets give women the vote - what could go wrong?" FFS. Is this really about the hair? I get that he's sexier than Pollievre. But surely even women can't approve of the corruption and the inflation and all that. Surely they care about their children if nothing else and teh future they're going to have - or not going to have thanks to Justin's policies. They can't be THAT obvious - what is making them think like this? How can they still think justin is ok?
  4. I'm not finding anything like that either. Just more hatred based attempts at dividing people.
  5. Yawn. Wake me up if there's a day when he DOESN'T"T threaten serious escalation.
  6. This is the left wing these days. Sure there are moderate people on the left - but the farther left usually find them and beat them into submission pretty quick but interestingly this is EXACTLY what the nazi's used as their method for gaining power. Divide people into groups, then set one group on another smaller group and offer to help the group deal with the 'problem" of the smaller group. It's "real" germans against the gypsies! No - the Jews! No it's socialists agains the Commies, no it's germany against the evil trio (B, F, US), No - it's POLAND that's the real threat. And they're hardly alone or even innovative in that. Gov'ts long before and after have used it. Obama formed the intersectional coalition based on that - turn gays, blacks, hispanics, trans, immigrants etc etc into little groups and get them to hate other people by fanning the culture wars and spreading division and hate. Then step in and say i'm on your side and scoop the votes.
  7. Prove it. You can't. My sacred napkin says it's fiction. The napkin has spoken. This has been gone over for hundreds of years. Sorry - every actual expert including most religious experts agree that you cannot prove the bible is not a work of fiction. Some of it appears to be testimony but we know that most of the works were written well after the fact. And many parts of the bible don't even have that element, they're just recountings of old stories. Who exactly saw moses come off the mount and wrote down what was happening? Would NOBODY be the correct answer? And any author can have their character state they saw something Watch this: And Jack said unto me: "Matthew Mark Luke and John all conspired in a tavern to write a work of fiction they would sell as a religion to make easy bucks. I know this for i was there and saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears". Wow - sounds like eye witness stuff to me! Bible exposed! The bible may well be based on some events or the like but it is like mostly a work of fiction. And you can't prove me wrong. So treating it like it's a proven fact rather than a personal belief just makes you look like you aren't good at thinking. Like i said, saying that YOU believe it's accurate and that god has touched your life is one thing. Claiming that it's a definitively accurate work is LESS honest than claiming evolution has been proven as the source of life.
  8. It's SOOOO important to you that you'll give up and let others run it for you Lol. C'mon. That's not a real answer. And democracy is by it's very nature a patchwork in progress. Spit stick and hope is it's wheelhouse and always has been BTW - your comment reminded me of a great humourous quote from an american politician so i'll share it - "Democracy is WAY too important to be left to the people." Anyway - in a democracy the world is run by those who show up. So show up. In the hopes that like minded people will join you and bring change. Welcome to democracy.
  9. well at least you admit you're a bigot and hate monger Sure you are. The idea that certain political classes are an inferior breed is definitely one of theirs. So far you havent' even started to tell the truth. All you have are lies. Frankly with that level of lies and hatred you're making the nazi's look good. As a person, you should be deeply deeply ashamed of yourself. But of course you're not, you're THAT kind of person.
  10. It has a slight ring of truth to it that makes it believable but - i dont' see the liberals OR the conservatives really doing anything for land ownership. So i'm not sure i see how it would impact us here?
  11. No it isn't - the answer is on my sacred napkin. How could you doubt that? Sorry - there is nothing in the bible that proves the bible is superior to others. It's not even remotely close to being evidence. It's just a work of fiction. Can you produce these 'witnesses'? Can you provide independent interviews with the witnesses? No? Hmmm. My napkin tells me that he never did die, he managed to live till they took him down. So there you go. My napkin says 700 people saw this. The napkin has spoken.
  12. I say it is - and i wrote that down on a sacred napkin i have here so it must be true. Look, it's written right here. A reasonable person would just obey the napkin and accept what i'm saying. You can't question the napkin. That's literally what you sound like. Seeing as you can't prove that it's not an imaginary friend or voices in your head you don't have any ability to dispute what i said. Sorry - the napkin has spoken. Billions would agree with me. Many billions, So does that make me right? Hell there's 1.1 billion hindu alone. They don't think your god is real. They think their gods are real. why are they wrong and you right? No answer? Hmmmm Look - if you're finding comfort in your religious beliefs then more power to you. It's not possible to show evidence of god's existence, but i also can't prove he doesn't exist. And i respect people's personal beliefs and if you're feeling like it's making your life better that's a positive thing. Hell - even if the bible IS wrong it's still a pretty good set of rules and principles to guide you in life. You just need to learn to keep that PERSONAL belief personal. YOU may believe that your god is real and is the one true god, but that's something you should keep in your heart, not try to force upon others. IT's not valid to say that I should be taking your god as anything BUT your imaginary friend. I'm entitled to my beliefs as well.
  13. Ima go ahead and put my money on 'lie through teeth" Well that and i suspect she'll filibuster a lot and also claim security issues and refuse to answer a number of things. And the usual deflection tricks - claiming she can't speak on behalf of others when asked what they were told, not fully understanding the question and having to ask for clarification 100 times, etc.
  14. Also it looks like trudeau took the issue off the table by ordering her to appear rather than take the hit of being forced to. This just isn't going away easily for him
  15. There are always good decisions. Including participating in the party to select candidates and leaders and set policy and priority. those are good decisions. Also forming lobby groups to pressure for what you want is not a bad idea - gun owners certainly learned that. Then they kind of forgot it and now look. It's too easy to say 'oh, i don't like the system so i give up'. Sorry - if you want democracy you have to work at it
  16. No, that is not rational. It is rational for a RELIGIOUS person who believes in THAT god to consider doing that. But it would be nuts for anyone else to consider it. this is what i mean by the arrogance and insisting your god is 100 percent confirmed real and everyone must believe in him. Nope. Which means that any opinion you have is useless, it's not based on reason or logic but on your erroneous belief that your imaginary friend and the voices in your head are automatically right and that nobody should dispute it. Whatever.
  17. Other way around. They didn't like what they said, banned him from being at the school for the year, and then called 'tresspass' when he showed up for classes because he didn't accept their ban on his speech. So - arrest was last.
  18. I know how to discuss just fine. The problem is you're not discussing, you're just repeating dumb things without actually address it. I gave you clear examples. Your best response is something along the lines of 'nuh uhhhh'. I point out you demand your bible is an actual factual document we should all follow and you reply with "no i dont, and it totally is". And you never actually address the issues. I point out why it costs more to have capital punishment, i produce documentation explianing it in detail and examples where it happens, and your best reply is to say "well i believe otherwise" and when you're asked WHY you believe that in the face of the evidence our answer is "well anyway god says we should". That's not much of a discussion. So when people are that thick i tend to just amuse myself by making fun of them. Try not being an ass - that might get you farther.
  19. No, it is a statement of fact that has no basis in fact and it's rude and arrogant and insulting.
  20. It absoutely is. Which is why you come across as unbelievably arrogant. I can choose whether or not i accept your demand of course. I do not. Sure - but that doesn't change the fact you demand it. Which makes you look like an ass. Then you get treated like an ass. Now you're complaining to me that you're getting treated like an ass. Kid - stop being an ass. I never claimed that. And here we get to the part where you've got to lie to try to make your point, If you have to lie to make a point then you don't have a very good point. And i'm told they make baby jesus cry. So there's that. What i said is you demand it be accepted. I never said i'm forced to. You're still being an ass.
  21. As i've said that's not true - your statement of it as fact and demand that i accept it as such is arrogant. Especially in light of the fact you've already noted you can't offer any proof the bible is accurate or god exists. Let me try to show the difference in a way you might understand better. If you say: I believe a fetus is a human on the day of conception because my interpretation of my bible and my religious beliefs have convinced me that's the way it is. I have no other evidence but that's how i feel. Then that's not invalid. You're not claiming it as fact, you're not suggesting there aren't other interpretations - that's just how you 'feel'. That's fine. It acknowledges that others may feel differently but you feel this way. But what YOU do is this: Babies are humans from the moment of conception. The bible says so. End of story. That is rude, wrong thinking, arrogant, and foolish. That is NOT a fact, nor should anyone else take it as being a valid statement. In other words if you use your bible to justify anything OTHER than how YOU PERSONALLY feel towards something you're stepping over a line.
  22. No that was the truth Sorry kiddo. You were being surpemely arrogant. And you were not presenting it as something you just believe you were stating it as fact
  23. Evolution IS a fact. We can see it and replicate it. Cross species evolution is not as solid but it still is pretty well supported by the evidence and is our best hypothisis at this point. And as near as i remember it was taught that way when i was in school. If they're teaching kids that we have filled in all the gaps there and know it as absolute fact then yes, they shouldn't be teaching that. But you are even worse. You have less evidence of god yet demand he be accepted as fact as well. Soooo - maybe take the log from your eye before worrying about the spliter in anyone elses.
  24. Proof does not have to be absolute to be proof per se. But as we saw, the logic and evidence you provided was disproven long before even I started studying. that is not accurate. In fact science and the scientific method can quite accurately predict and model things and does so all the time. And we have a lot of things that WERE there to look at, like the cosmic background radiation. For us it's like piecing together what happened in a plane crash - lots and lots of things to examine and a solid working knowledge of the physics and engineering, and you can usually come up with a pretty solid answer. There's video tape the event left behind all kinds of information like the CMB and such which shows us what happened. No it hasn't. At best you can say many don't think the original source was a singularity, but that's not surprising. it is universally agreed upon as to what happened less than a second after the big bang and for the next 16 billion years. No it doesn't. Causality only applies within the fabric of spacetime. Without that causality is not necessary. You're just having trouble thinking outside your limited understanding of the universe. You're asking the wrong question. We know the answer to that, as the universe cools the quantum fields form as part of space time and fluctuations in those fields cause the material, and we even know the order that the materials came into existance in. Matter is spontaneously formed and annihilated around us constantly. The REAL question is where did the matter GO? The formation of that material is constant as i said but is always accompanied by the formation of anti-matter as well and the two cancel each other almost instantly and the engery is returned to the quantum field. - sooooo why didn't that happen when our matter was being formed? Where did all the anti matter go that should have cancelled out the matter? There are theories but we know where matter comes from. Sorry kid - something can come from nothing. Don't confuse spacetime as the whole of existance. For example nothing can travel faster (or slower actually) than the speed of light. Yet the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. Impossible yes? nope its possible. Once you understand the trick of it then it makes sense, Your problem is a lack of knoweldge. No causality only is a thing in space time. Sorry - once again this is a lack of knowledge
