No, actually it's the runaway success of Capitalism that open the door to communism. Or more accurately market socialism. It is the nature of capitalism that while everyone benefits and grows more wealthy, some will grow more wealthy than others. And that opens the door for people to say "well - even tho i have the wealth i've earned, i should have their wealth too and if i had their wealth i could restructure our society the way i want. " Communism and socialism models NEED wealth to steal in order to work and to sell, so it needs capitalism to create the success and wealth first.
