Weaponized DOJ Convicts Hunter Biden
CdnFox replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well, how many of the FBI agents investigating hillary went to jail for illegal activies related to the investigation? None? Because they did with trump The simple fact is if you read your sentence unironically it's also true - the investigation with hillary was due to her corruption and the investigations by the fbi against trump have been driven by personal dislike and a fake dossier. -
Republicans Against Inequality?
CdnFox replied to BeaverFever's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm afraid that's simply not true. It may seem that way to you but nope. Context matters, and Republicans have always supported these things and regulation in the market where it was seen as NECESSARY. There's nothing new about it in the slightest. In fact a few of those points are republican in nature. Lets take a quick look. 1 - pretty neutral. That's not interfering in the market, that''s just staying if you lose everyone's money you don't get a bonus. Tht's not really dem or republican. 2 - did you READ that letter? it is VERY anti-union. Its first line DEMANDS that the free market be preserved. It speaks AGAINST any gov't regulation. it is EVERY BIT AS REPUBLICAN AS IT GETS. The democrats HATE all that stuff. What he ALSO says is the free market only works if employees are able to freely negotiate and seeing as unions suck so bad a different model (Which unions hate) that is currently illegal should be allowed so that workers aren't forced to unions and are able to freely discuss the value of their goods and services. That is VERY republican. 3- Again - that is regulation to make the free market stronger. Republicans have always been 'anti-monopoly' in the market place and this makes sure the market is more free 4 - this is strategic. This isn't about interfering in the market - covid taught us that reliance on other parties in other countries is dangerous boht to the market AND to strategic interests. SO they're looking at creating more capacity at home. It is very republican to think strategically and spend money on what it perceives as the defense of the nation. When you look at the context of all of those things there's NOTHING republicans 30 years ago woudln't have said in the same circumstances. Sorry - these are not 'democrat' ideas that have been stolen. In fact dems are going to HATE number 2 with a passion. -
How Would You Defend Trump?

Misunderstanding do occur. Dude - We're conservatives, not ninja. Lets not overblow it. -
When you don't like the truth - attack the source! LOLOL What it means is that: a) - a lot of parents are getting entirely sick of the 'pro-gay-trans' agenda aimed at their kids. And b) - their numbers are growing. And the sentiment is getting worse There are organized groups who are normally left wing voters who's children are publically stomping on the pride flag over this stuff in two provinces and major cities within them in canada. You pushed your hatred too far. Now it's coming back to bite you. It's as simple as that. We'll see how far the pendulum swings before it's over.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/online-news-act-meta-facebook-1.6885634 Canadians will no longer have access to news content on Facebook and Instagram, Meta says The social media giant Meta has confirmed that it will end access to news on its social media sites for all Canadian users before Bill C-18, the Online News Act, comes into force. The tech company made the announcement on Thursday, the same day the bill received royal assent. The law will force tech giants like Meta and Google to pay news outlets for posting their journalism on their platforms. Meta said it will begin to block news for Canadian users over the next few months and that the change will not be immediate. "We have repeatedly shared that in order to comply with Bill C-18 ... content from news outlets, including news publishers and broadcasters, will no longer be available to people accessing our platforms in Canada," Meta said in a media statement. Well that's going to honk a lot of people off. They knew this would be the end result - i'm trying to figure out where they were going with this.

Nobody said they did. But they DO have a problem with it being pushed on children And your data is 2021. Here's something a little more recent. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/majority-side-with-premier-blaine-higgs-on-gender-identity-poll https://www.dailywire.com/news/poll-nearly-80-of-voters-oppose-transgender-procedures-on-minors So that's canada and america. People are getting more and more open to having restrictions on gender surgery especially for kids, getting more and more fed up with trans people and gay people pushing an agenda. They were fine when they did their own thing and the straights did their own thing and nobody pushed their ideology on anyone else. Now - not so fine as the trans and gays are not content with worrying about themselves and demand others participate in their life styles. And going after children was a huge mistake. Telling parents how to raise their kids and exposing them to sexually explicit ideas at very young ages is a pretty fast way to get parents in an uproar.

Hillary says so. In public. On tv. Dozens of other democrats have too. ANd it's not even the only election. You've got stacey abrams who refused to concede and still claims she's the governor. Many dems backed her up too. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/26/politics/terry-mcauliffe-voter-fraud-stacey-abrams/index.html BTW - spoiler, there was no voter fraud. BUt - as usual you need to lie and pretend it didn't and doesn't still happen because your narrative doesn't work with the truth. Sorry if reality is inconvenient

Nobody cares about your bullshit. California is a disaster and has been getting worse for some time. The productive taxpayers are leaving and the poor looking for handouts are moving in. It's already at a point where it would be very hard to fix - soon it will be past the point of no return and we can start refering to it as venezuela north as it deserves. Get woke go broke.

Leftist Hero Justin Trudeau investigated for obstructing justice
CdnFox replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Actually - history shows that most politicans keep MOST of their promises substantially. Usually in the 70 percent range. Trudeau is worse than most. But the thing is - if we don't punish them for breaking them then who's really to blame. Trudeau promised in 2015 that that would be the last FPTP election - he also promised no more than 30 billion total in deficits over 4 years. He broke those promises HORRIBLY and that was just the start. He was rewarded with two more wins. If we do that - what can we expect? -
Says the side that kept arguing trump was an illegitimate president and stole the election for 4 years Tell me - are you a PROFESSIONAL hypocrisy master or is it just a passionate hobby? The right as a whole is the only group that still listens to truth - You can't go a post without being substantially wrong, so i think that kinda proves the point.

It has everything to do with everything. There's a backlash happening and it's going to go on for a while. And your fantasy explinations won't help. Check the numbers kiddo - this ain't just the republicans any more. This is well into the mushy middle and even into the Red democrats as you'd call them i guess. (we'd call them blue liberals but whatever) Not really - as far as i can see that's actually not the norm. But maybe my data is old, can you show where 'Most" prisons are that way now? And by 'most' do you mean like 51 percent or what exactly? (She will either change the subject or meme at me now LOL)

You, on the left, said it was a left/right political decision like one post ago As to 'likeing' them or not - ignoring them is precisely what everyone wants. But that's not passible any more - they DEMAND that your children participate in their activites and if you won't wear a pride flag then you're a nazi and your kid should be banned from school. Sorry kiddo - if you and they are going to pick a fight, especially a fight where you're going after people's children, you're going to be VERY lucky if the only thing that winds up trampled is a flag.

Having the will requires a reason. Like i said - while it would be technically SORT of possible it wouldn't really record anything of use that isn't recorded already. So and so met with such and such with regards to this and that. Not really much more than that. Go watch "yes Minister" if you want to learn how to lie with minutes Couldn't hurt - it would be a good discussion. But while transparancy is important confidentiality is also extremely important in negotiations. Sure. That discussion alone would be an act of transparancy. People would at least know the reasons and principles for when a gov't should be discreet and they can decide when a gov't oversteps that. -
Substantial in that there is substance to the claim that there was . There is. But not significant in that it had no significance in who became president, based on what we have found so far at this point. Neither 'matters' more. They are simply statements of accurate fact. There was election fraud AND it did not make a difference as near as we can tell based on the evidence we have today. Two things can be true at once. Same with the Russians in the previous elections - there was russian interference. It played no role in who became president as near as we can tell based on the evidence we have today. Two statements that are equally true.

What, rob people of their freedom of choice for 5 years by forcing them to serve at a job they may or may not be qualified for without their consent while their careers or businesses they've spent time building languish as they fall behind and then cut them loose unemployed as part of an undemocratic process of leadership selection as an alternative to a monarchy? Well - ya got me there. It has literally never crossed my mind. Maybe - it would be up to the undemocratically elected gov't to decide. So people might be forced to do a job they don't want to for TEN years. Yeah - that makes it better. How do you unelect someone who's never been elected? It's not like he's broken his promises or the like. And with no election campaigns or parties how would the public have any reason to believe the next guy wouldn't be even worse? Nothing in the slightest. It's a good thing to do, if we didn't do that on occasion we'd still have emperors. However - you'll have to accept that any ideas you come up wiht will have to stand up to the acid test of peer review and consider the challenges with your model. It's not a criticism of YOU.
-
Sure. Ask hillary. I believe that law is written on the tarmac that the OTHER clinton ran across to pressure the justice to drop the case. It MIGHT be in the glove compartment of Biden's porche. I"m not sure. Yeah - there's a double standard here and the dem supporters brains are melting. The truth was pretty obvious some time ago.

No it doesn't you butthead!!! (note - this parody post was for comic relief and does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the poster. No Buttheads were harmed in the making of this post.) -
Harvard and most of the other ivy schools in the states really aren't focused on intelligence or even particularly on education. Their focus is on relationship building. Because of the cost and prestige the people who attend are most likely to be successful and influential people and it's an opportunity to meet and form bonds. This is a direct reflection of what english school was like - hence the english phrase "they were at school together", referring to having 'pull' with a powerful person. They will do what it takes to make sure you graduate Interesting side note, getting the highest score in any post secondary institution including canada's is not an indication you're the smartest. It's an indication you can mimick what the teacher's want. WHereas "b" students often said something the prof disagreed with but they said it well. An ex prof turned successful businessman always told me "Hire the b students, they're the thinkers". Grade also has no correlation with whetehr or not the student will be successful after graduation.

wow - you must think it's a lot for trump to get that worked up! Calm down big guy It would appear most of what did occur was in mr biden's favour but as i said it hardly matters, it was not significant enough to have any impact. ANd seriously - the weird fixation over this is bordering on a mental health issue for you. Relax.
