Trump’s tax plan is terrible for the average American. A tariff is a tax paid by Americans on the products we buy. A tariff of 20% means the computers, smartphones, clothing, and most other products you buy will cost 20% more. China does not pay the tariff, the American taxpayer does. And it is a regressive tax because the poor pay the same rate as the rich. So it’s great for the rich and sucks for the poor, especially when Trump’s planned tax cuts for the rich and Capitol gains tax cuts are added in. It’s just the little guy giving money to the rich guy in Trump’s America. Trump’s plan is terrible for most Americans, it’s extremely inflationary, and other nations will retaliate on our exports.

Look assh*le, stop your damn constant lying. If you’re so sure you’re right all the time, what’s with the nonstop lying? Wouldn’t the truth suffice? I read their lawsuit. They did not name one single non-citizen who appears on the voter rolls. Their entire argument is about procedures which are currently disputed between the Supreme Court ruling and Arizona law. And I don’t know what “testimony” you’re talking about because, a-hole, all they did was FILE a lawsuit. No hearing, no testimony. And this type of suit won’t have testimony because they’re arguing over how to apply the law.

Another example of why Republicans cannot be trusted to verify voter eligibility via citizenship tests. In Florida, Ron DeSantis has been sending his police goon squads to the homes of people who signed to have an abortion referendum added to the ballot. These “investigators” come to people’s home armed with folders full of background information, in order to allegedly “verify” that they signed the petition. It doesn’t take pages of background check to verify a signature… that’s what you do to intimidate someone. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/09/09/desantis-election-abortion-referendum-fdle/ “In the past week, two people reported that an agent from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrived at their homes and asked them about petitions they had signed months ago to add Amendment 4 to the November ballot. One voter, Isaac Menasche, posted on his Facebook page Wednesday that a detective questioned him about his signature and showed him a folder containing 10 pages of his personal information. “The experience left me shaken,” Menasche wrote, adding that he had signed the petition. “Troubling that so much resources were devoted to this.”

No, no, no. They FILED a lawsuit. That’s all they did. So the fact we know is that they filed a lawsuit. We cannot conclude anything except that they filed a lawsuit. I read their suit. They did not provide any evidence that one single person is unlawfully registered to vote in Arizona. Not one person. Their argument is very complicated because Arizona law conflicts with a Supreme Court ruling forbidding election officials from demanding proof of citizenship. They are demanding that the state law supersede the federal Supreme Court ruling, which election officials have been reluctant to do… because the U.S. Supreme Court said they can’t Given the fact that the Secretary of State of Hawaii issued a statement that he had personally inspected the original birth certificate of Barack Obama, yet MAGA continued to insist he was not an American citizen, how can an ordinary American citizen “prove” they are a citizen if MAGA insists they aren’t? You guys have proven that you absolutely cannot be trusted to determine who is who is not a citizen.

And maybe their suit will be dismissed. All they did was announce that they filed the lawsuit. Most tellingly: They allege that illegal immigrants and non-citizens are on these voter rolls, but they don’t say how many or what their evidence is. Their only allegation is that DHS has the means to verify the citizenship status of every voter in a state. This is not clear. Maybe they do and maybe they don’t, but the Supreme Court ruled that requiring voters to prove citizenship status in a federal election is unconstitutional for some reason; probably because not all voters can.

Ok, “Trump whisperer,” tell us: How will President Trump help working American women pay for childcare? You say he speaks clearly. You say you understand him. That’s the question he was asked, so tell us in plain English how much help he proposes to give working mothers. -

It is a confession to a crime and of course no-one has a right to interfere in an election. We have many election laws and if you violate them you get indicted. -

No, overturning an election is way worse, because it means that democracy no longer exists. “Heads I win the election, Tails you lose the election” is just dictatorship. -

Oh? This is new. Hunter Biden worked for Burisma. They are an energy company. The United States does not provide foreign military aid as money. We provide weapons, which are manufactured by US companies. The U.S. arms makers get the money and the foreign nations get the weapons, not money. The weapons the US provided to Ukraine went to the government, not to Burisma, so there was no money to “siphon.” -

During the recounts, that’s exactly what they do. I thought you were complaining that they don’t have the lists of the voters and who they voted for. -

If a man dates a co-worker, it’s a conquest. If a woman dates a co-worker, she’s a ho. And you people still shake your heads a wonder why women are overwhelmingly supporting Kamala Harris. Harris graduate law school, passed the bar, and became a prosecutor. Trump did none of those things. He inherited dada’s money. -

You did not provide a quote, you provided a hyperlink. The quote from that link says: "Trump is being hyperbolic here. While the Obama administration was criticized for its refusal to provide lethal assistance to Ukraine, it did provide more than $100 million in security assistance, as well as a significant amount of defense and military equipment." Trump provided $47 million of Javelins, while Biden provided over $55 billion in weapons -- over 1,000 times more. -

Trump likes to take tiny facts and represent them as large facts. Tiny fact: Trump supplied Javelin missiles and Obama did not. But Javelins are not the only weapons in the whole world. Large Fact: Obama provided over $600 million in military aid to Ukraine. not "pillows and sheets." While Congress authorized $47 million in Javelin missile sales to Ukraine as part of the $800 million package started during the Obama Administration, Trump personally delayed shipments of the Javelin missiles in a political bid to get dirt on Joe Biden. Trump was later impeached for this crime. -

Donald Trump cares so much about Ukraine’s defense that he held up critical missile shipments in order to get dirt on Joe Biden. Can you find a quote of Trump’s where he clearly said that the U.S. should provide military support to Ukraine so they can defend themselves from the Russian invasion? JD Vance has openly fought to block military aid to Ukraine: https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/04/18/jd-vance-ukraine-aid-00153201 -

It’s obvious that Trump will give Ukraine to Putin. Trump has never supported Ukraine’s defense. -
No, it had little to do with the will of the people. I know an East German electrical engineer who was educated in Moscow during the early 80’s. He told me he loved it! He said it was great. He got an extremely good education, an apartment, and all his needs were met. I met others who said the science education, the chess clubs, the sporting, it was all outstanding. I am not a supporter of communism at all, and I was very surprised that they told me these things. And I met Jewish dissidents who absolutely hated the Soviet system. But the fall of the Soviet system happened because of Gorbachev, and it wasn’t his failure, it was his deliberate decision.

It’s a PDF of a Washington Post article. Besides, I don’t think the government should waste money on fancy graphic designers.
