ABC's big lie: Late Term abortion doesn't exist
Rebound replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Oh? Let me quote your favorite lying sack of shlt from last night’s debate: ”They even have, and you can look at the governor of West Virginia, the previous governor of West Virginia, not the current governor, who's doing an excellent job, but the governor before. He said the baby will be born and we will decide what to do with the baby. In other words, we'll execute the baby. And that's why I did that [supported a 6-week abortion ban], because that predominates. Because they're radical. The Democrats are radical in that. And her vice presidential pick, which I think was a horrible pick, by the way for our country, because he is really out of it. But her vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine. He also says execution after birth, it's execution, no longer abortion, because the baby is born, is okay. “ You can’t keep your lies straight, can you? -
ABC's big lie: Late Term abortion doesn't exist
Rebound replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Aborting a pregnancy inside the womb is not the same as delivering a baby and then killing it. Under Roe v. Wade, states could outlaw abortions in the third trimester. So if that is what concerns you, there was no reason to overturn Roe v Wade. As for third trimester abortions, they are extremely rare and doctors don’t perform them on-demand, as a form of birth control, They perform them only when there is medical justification for doing so, and I do not support on-demand third trimester abortions without medical justification as determined by a woman and her licensed physician. -
This Nicholas Biase? ”Nicholas Biase, chief public information officer for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement, “I was recently made aware of a video where I regretfully made some statements in a private and social setting that don’t reflect my views about two local and state prosecutions.” Biase’s statement about the case, which is outside of his office’s jurisdiction, came hours after conservative podcaster Steven Crowder released a secretly recorded, edited video of conversations between Biase and an unidentified woman that Crowder said occurred in July and August. “I said these things in an effort to please and impress someone I just met, who was secretly filming me,” Biase said. “I’m deeply sorry to the local and state law enforcement officials working on these matters, who deserve more respect than I showed them. I should have known better.” https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/06/politics/manhattan-us-attorney-office-spokesperson-video-trump-hush-money/index.html

Abortion Question for Trump Supporters

You’re high on something if you think the U.S. Supreme Court as it stands today would declare that a nationwide abortion ban is unconstitutional. -
ABC's big lie: Late Term abortion doesn't exist

You’re full of shlt. Republicans always lie because they know that their policies are terrible. Here is word-for-word what ABC said during the debate: “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it's born.” This is a fact, and your stupid video does not disprove that fact. Here is a link to the full transcript of the debate, so that you can verify that’s what they said, word-for-word: https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 -

Fact Check: If Trump loses, the Federal prosecutions will continue, and they’ll put is ass in prison. -
Donald Trump was asked a question in the debate last night which he did not answer. So please answer it for me. Since you support Flordia’s six week abortion ban, if Congress passes a national six week abortion ban, will you sign it? You’re the Trump supporters. You understand all his secret-coded whispers. So answer the question: Will Trump sign an abortion ban into law, or not?

“Windmills cause cancer” is not an exaggeration, it is a lie. “Immigrants eat pet dogs” is not an exaggeration, it is a lie. “Doctors legally murder babies after they’re born” is not an exaggeration, it is a lie. -
Harris had Nothing but Empty Promises Tonight

And you lose. Trump was called out for claiming that immigrants are eating dogs and cats in Ohio. You say that’s true? Trump was called out for claiming that doctors can legally kill babies after they’re born. You say that’s true? -
Bragg’s colleague didn’t say anything… on video. See the problem? You don’t have any idea what you’re talking about. Alvin Bragg is the Manhattan District Attorney. That means, (pay attention) Bragg works for the City of New York. The person who was recorded on video works in the Federal Prosecutor’s office. That means he works for the United States Federal Government, and they are not colleagues. They have different employers and prosecute different crimes under entirely different laws and jurisdictions. This is why, (pay attention), Trump’s allegations of Biden prosecuting Trump are nonsense, because the Federal Government has no authority over the City Government of New York.

Trump made MANY false statements. ABC fact-checked him three whole times, on statements which had nothing to do with the questions asked and which were extremely incorrect: * Trump’s ridiculous lie that doctors legally kill babies after they’re born. * Trump’s ridiculous lie that immigrants are eating pets. * Trump’s ridiculous lie that he won the 2020 election. ABC first asked him if his three recent comments stating that he lost the 2020 election are at last an admission that he lost. Trump first said he never said that, and ABC quoted him saying that he’d lost by a whisker. Trump said that he made that comment as a joke. Trump made plenty more lies than that. ABC just pointed out those which were objectively false without debate. It’s their network and they have an obligation to their viewers to present the truth, and the truth is that doctors do not deliver babies and then kill them, immigrants aren’t eating pets, and Trump lost the 2020 election. Let’s cut to the chase here: Donald Trump is a lying sick f*ck. If he had the right ideas and the best ideas for America, he wouldn’t need to lie about practically everything. -

He said that her father was a Marxist. And Trump’s father was a Klansman. Their fathers aren’t running for President. You’d think someone running for President wouldn’t stoop so low as to insult his opponent’s father, but the felon Trump’s mind has been in the gutter forever. -

“Aggressively”? Uh, go back and listen again. “I’d like to point out, sir, that it is not legal in any state to kill a baby after it’s delivered.” Who are the dolts who believe that doctors murder babies after they’re born? -
Tariffs are a Tax on Americans
Rebound replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
We understand that what Trump is doing is lying continually. A Canadian maple syrup tariff protects domestic maple syrup from primarily American maple syrup. But that’s not the same as imposing a 20% tariff on iPhones and computers, which aren’t built in America. We don’t have those factories here. Joe Biden passed the CHIPS Act, to bring semiconductor manufacturing back to the US. THEN maybe we add tariffs to protect those chips once they’re built here. -

You are way too uneducated to begin to understand how manufacturing supply chains work in this world. The result of these tariffs is that China and other nations will impose equal tariffs. Zero sum game, except for loads of economic disruption, supply chain nightmares and more taxes imposed on consumers. -
You truly must be an absolute fool to believe that Donald Trump is not a criminal. He is definitely a criminal. He has refused to pay his contractors and lawyers for decades. His administration was riddled with criminals who went to jail. He is a rapist. He definitely did pay hush money to a porn star and covered it up illegally, and, no, “they don’t all do it.” He didn’t just steal classified documents, he kept them after being legally ordered to return them and we know for a fact that he deliberately and personally kept half the classified documents for himself after signing documents swearing that he’d returned them all. And that’s not even to mention the election interference and triggering a riot which cost many innocent lives. GUILTY AS F*CK.

Tariffs are a Tax on Americans
Rebound replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There are countless products which are no longer built in the U.S. and countless more U.S. products which use foreign-made components. So even US made products will become more expensive with across the board tariffs. -

Biden already imposed a 100% tariff on Chinese electric cars. So what’s your point? You aren’t paying attention to what’s been happening to profits and extreme wealth since Trump became President. For all this “Boo Hoo, the economy is so bad!” nonsense… it DEFINITELY has not been bad for the stock market, for corporate profits, or for the wealthiest Americans. It’s been GREAT for them.
