Correlation does not prove causation. Explain how a bank with $200 billion in assets failed because of $73 million in tax-deductible charitable contributions, made over a period of many years. Here, let me answer for you: “Hunter Biden’s Laptop! Benghazi! Hillary’s emails!!!” You people are just absolutely ridiculous.

Who has voter’s remorse for voting for Biden? Joe Biden is not exciting, or sexy, or entertaining. He just does the job. And he does it competently. He doesn’t insult people to win attention. He comports himself respectfully. He’s restored our economy and slashed Trump’s deficit by over 50%. The alternative to Biden, unfortunately, will likely be an extremist. Americans are pretty sick and tired of extremism.

The original poster said that DeSantis’ acts of striking facts from history books and instituting a ban on ALL BOOKS in Florida schools UNLESS they are approved by his personally-selected board of religious censors are fascist ACTS. Let’s define fascism. From Britannica: Fascism : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government. From Mirriam-Webster: : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control Another definition: “Many experts agree that fascism is a mass political movement that emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of both the nation and the single, powerful leader over the individual citizen. This model of government stands in contrast to liberal democracies, which support individual rights, competitive elections, and political dissent.“ To answer your question, I believe that DeSantis’ actions are extremely disturbing and that he has greatly abused his government authority. The best example, I think, was when he retaliated against Disney because they stated that they disagreed with a law he passed. Think about that! It is the very textbook definition of violating the First Amendment: “You say something which displeases the Government, and the Government retaliates against you by using its power to harm you.” This is exactly why we have a First Amendment. So yes, the adjective “fascist” applies, not the noun. These are all acts of state-sponsored censorship intended to persecute and disenfranchise minority groups. Personally, I cannot understand it: “Here you are, you are the most powerful person in the state. What will you choose to do?” “Why, I’ll persecute homosexuals and black people, of course. And those who support them. It’s the most urgent issue in our state.”

Did Hitler just “deport” people to “work camps” to protect them from the war?

Ronald Reagan was a Traitor

That, and the fact that he secretly sold Iran weapons despite laws prohibiting sales of US weapons to Iran. -
Let me make something very clear to you: These efforts of DeSantis are not intended to keep children from feeling ashamed of being white. They are intended to indoctrinate these children with the sense of American infallibility. And if you believe the government has always been good and always just and always right, why… you certainly wouldn’t oppose the next war they tell us we need to fight, right?

After forty-three years, the has come out: An attorney confessed that he and John Connelly, working for Reagan, convinced the Iranians to keep fifty-three Americans in captivity, promising them Reagan would give them “a better deal.” Connelly was subsequently named Secretary of the Navy by Reagan History tells us the rest: The hostages were held in Iran 444 days, and released January 20, 1981, just minutes after Ronald Reagan was sworn in. And after that, we know for a fact that the Reagan Administration illegally sold arms to Iran through France and Japan. You think fourth graders already know who Rosa Parks is? Isn’t the fact of history very clear? Segregation was the law throughout the South, and Rosa Parks was jailed because she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white person, which sparked non-violent civil rights protests? Isn’t that the truth?

No, the International Criminal Court is not “leftist crap.” You’re pretty doggone stupid if you think there isn’t plenty of evidence to back up the claim that 16,000 children were taken from their parents. Not a crime you can commit without lots of witnesses. I assume you deny the Holocaust as well.
-
Wow. Just… wow. I never thought I’d ever encounter someone so morally decrepit that they defend stealing children from their parents. You aren’t OftenWrong, you are OutrightSoulless. My assumption is that you are so thoroughly narcissistic that you cannot possibly understand the concept that this world has other human beings besides yourself.

No. After his election, Donald Trump appointed an attorney general, who named a special prosecutor, Republican Robert Mueller, to investigate Russian election interference. That investigation resulted in many, many jail sentences for Trump campaign workers and associates. 34 individuals were charged with crimes, and eight were convicted.

TUCKER CARLSON AND THE JAN. 6 VIDEO
Rebound replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
So your argument is that this enormous mob could not have overtaken the 300 million citizens of the United States? Hmm. Well, it certainly seems that they overtook the United States Capitol, both the Senate and House chambers, and they caused every member of Congress to flee for their lives, during the transfer of Presidential power. Those are facts. If the rioters remained there until midnight on Jan 6, could Joe Biden have been able to legally become President? Because the law says the votes must be counted on the 6th. Not the 5th, not the 7th. What if the rioters continued past the House and Senate chambers, found the Senators and Congressmen, and killed Mike Pence and all the Democrats? Now what? Those are real scenarios. The officeholders and their staffers certainly feared for their lives. Even Josh Hawley was caught on tape running from the rioters. So he was just as afraid as any of them. Crime involves motive and intent. The intent behind the riot was to prevent Joe Biden from becoming President and ensure that Donald Trump remained President. The motive was Donald Trump himself, who falsely claimed that his election was “stolen,” who told his followers to come to Washington on Jan 6, and who encouraged them to March to the Capitol and “Stop the Steal.” And, by the way, they did march peacefully to the Capitol. There was no violence on the March to the Capitol. They peacefully marched and THEN they tried to “Stop the steal,” just as Trump had commanded them to do. -
Legally, war is not an international crime. Kidnapping 16,000 children, however, is a crime.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Putin

I don’t think you follow me… The oligarchs of Russia can no longer enjoy any of those pleasures, except inside of Russia. No more yachting on the French Riviera. Most of their yachts have been seized by authorities and they aren’t permitted to dock at those ports and they don’t have travel visas. So my point is, the Ukraine War has sucked for the oligarchs, including Putin’s daughter. Of course, it’s been far worse for the Ukranians, but my point is that these international sanctions and this criminal indictment have impacts on these people. No more chartered private jets to Paris Fashion Week. -
It’s a platform. And algorithms drive the platform and what you see. A poster here said that YouTube is filled with videos about how terrible Joe Biden’s leadership is… which, he argues, proves that Biden’s leadership is terrible. But I don’t see those videos when I use YouTube, because I never searched for such videos.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Putin

When the oligarchs of Russia and their children vacation and go shopping, it’s not in China, Venezuela, North Korea or Iran, is it? Things were great for the oligarchs before this invasion. They flew their private planes to exotic places throughout the world, played on their yachts, went gambling, bought expensive clothes, and had a great time. Now all that is gone, and probably gone for good. Which really stinks for them, if you think about it.
