Smashing windows, bear-spraying police, smashing their heads in doors, and much more. Over 900 convictions, including convictions for seditious conspiracy. It does not matter that some protesters were nonviolent. They didn’t get prosecuted. There was plenty of violence that day and people who saw the violence and then continued past smashed barricades into the US Capitol were equally responsible.

The NATO Charter has been ratified by the US Senate. Per the US Constitution, that makes the NATO Charter “the supreme law of the land.” I support the U.S. Constitution, and therefore, I must accept the NATO charter. Article 5 of the NATO Charter obligates all members to consider an armed attack on one member as an attack on them. In all the time NATO has been in force, Article 5 has been invoked only once: After the September 11 attacks on the United States. NATO has stated that any attack on a nuclear power plant in Ukraine which releases radiation into or over NATO member states will be considered an Article 5 condition.

Abortion has nothing to do with Ukraine. Most Republicans agree with Democrats on the issue of Ukraine. The entire nation would be United except for Donald Trump. Some day, the truth will come out and we will learn that Trump got money or loan guarantees or something from Putin in exchange for Trump’s otherwise nonsensical love of Russia.

You cannot understand plain English if you think I am a proponent of going to war. I said that we should go to war only if Putin invades NATO territory. This has been US foreign policy since the 1950’s and it is a legally binding obligation of the United States of America.

Trump’s “policy” is his claim that he could end the war in a day. But how he’d do that? Oh, it’s a secret. The “most transparent president in history” is keeping secrets. Neither Trump nor DeSantis will condemn Russia for invading Ukraine, even though DeSantis was resolutely pro-Ukraine when he was a Congressman. But now he’ll throw those people under the bus cause getting elected matters more than the lives of those people. And… most Republicans are pro-Ukraine. I don’t even know why this is a tough call: Sanction Russia viciously, ship weapons non-stop to Ukraine, get NATO support, and make it very clear to Russia if they step ONE INCH inside any NATO country, it will be all-out warfare until they retreat. Donald Trump never said any of that.

Now we have an 85 year-old attorney admit that they cut a deal with Iran to hold the hostages, and it is backed up by four witnesses AND documentary evidence that he and John Connelly of Texas traveled to Jordan and Cairo to cut this deal. That is a viscious, evil crime — your superhero Ronald Reagan kept those poor people held in brutal captivity FOR A YEAR in order to get elected President. Sorry that your moral compass is so bent out of shape that you don’t see any difference between a month or two of captivity versus over a year of it. The Iranians didn’t treat the American hostages nicely at all.
