In Trump’s NY civil fraud trial yesterday, defendant Trump became visibly disturbed after his motion to dismiss the trial was rejected by the judge. The judge has already ruled that Trump is guilty in this case, so there was zero chance the judge would dismiss a case after a guilty ruling. Trump then left the courtroom, told the press that he’d won, and then said the trial should be dismissed. What is going through this man’s mind? Surely his lawyers told him that a motion to dismiss would stand no chance, yet he demanded it anyway. And he thinks his case will go better if he continually insults the judge. Usually, when you see courtroom videos of defendants insulting the judge, it’s right before or after getting sentenced 20 years to life. This is not the behavior of a sane, rational person. Add to that, he’s been fined twice for violating a gag order protecting civil servants of the court. It’s unbelievable to imagine that people still think this man should be President; he’s lost his marbles. And he’s about to lose all his money.

Trump’s arguments so far have been ridiculous, essentially they all claim that the 14th Amendment has no power or authority over anything. The judge has correctly ruled that the only issue here is whether Donald Trump participated in or aided an insurrection. Don’t you just love how the right wing talks about the Constitution as a biblically sacrosanct document which must be followed with absolute, rigorous adherence, except when it doesn’t suit them?

It’s obviously the damn guns. There’s simply no valid reason to own a high capacity, high velocity assault rifle. It isn’t needed for hunting or for home defense. A handgun will work better. The Supreme Court ruled as much. We aren’t allowed to own fully automatic weapons, or tanks, or hand grenades, and nobody’s claiming those limits are second amendment violations. We need to restrict assault weapons and high capacity magazines. They are not necessary. They’re toys for gun enthusiasts and mass murder weapons for unstable people.

There is evidence. That’s the issue. You’re very twisted up in what’s going on here. You keep saying that it’s all ok because Trump is allowed to believe that the election was stolen, but he’s not being charged over his thoughts. He’s being charged with committing crimes. Trump operates like a mobster and gets others to commit crimes on his behalf, which is why he’s being charged under RICO laws.

BOOM! Trump Fined $10,000 for violating gag order

They haven’t empaneled any jurors yet but he definitely tampered with a witness in the Georgia case and I’m very surprised he got away with it. He plainly stated that a specific witness should not testify, which is clearly illegal. -
https://www.hrw.org/news/2019/09/19/deadly-toll-palestinian-women https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinai_insurgency And here’s a first grade level question for you: If the Palestinians are so loving and peaceful and non-threatening, why are their borders with Egypt and Jordan MORE tightly controlled than their borders with Israel? There’s an obvious reason, right?
-
I’ve met a lot of very nice Palestinian people. Unfortunately, they are lead by a terrorist group called Hamas. Terrorism is a threat to the entire world, including the U.S. You are very badly educated on this point. The Palestinian people have absolutely nothing in common with your values. Brothers commonly murder their sisters if the sister is raped, because it shames the entire family. Let me repeat that: If a Palestinian girl is raped, her brothers murder her. Have you ever hear of “LGBT for Palestine”? The Palestinians would kill anyone who’s LGBT. They make MAGA look liberal. They aren’t just trying to kick all the Jews out of Israel, they have tried to overthrow the governments of Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Remember the “Arab Spring”? It wasn’t that long ago. These people are not your buddies.

What Trump believed does not matter. You’re allowed to believe that only Christians go to heaven, or that only Muslims go to heaven. You’re allowed to believe anything you want to believe. Plenty of people here believe the election was stolen, and they aren’t being charged with crimes over what they believe. But you’re not allowed to break the law. Trump was allowed to believe the election was stolen and use ALL lawful means at his disposal to prove it. And he did that, and he filed 60 lawsuits, requested recounts, and all that. He has not been charged with any of that. He was not allowed to conspire with people across the nation to create slates of fake electors, along with falsified electoral certificates, and to represent that they were lawful Presidential electors. That is not legal to do, and it doesn’t matter whether you believed the election was stolen or not.

Dipshlt… Let me translate it to dum-dum for you, so you can understand: 1) US oil production is at an all-time high. 2) OPEC has deliberately cut their production in order to raise prices. 3) When OPEC raises prices, US oil producers raise prices to match. Even though they are American companies, and the oil is extracted in the U.S., if they can export it for a higher price, they will. They don’t owe us anything, even though they drill from publicly-owned lands. 4) Canadian companies do the same thing.

China Accuses US of Disrupting Peace

They also don’t realize that if we insulate ourselves from every other nation, then China and Russia will roll on up and snatch up resources and strategic ports around the world. Is Trump war-like enough? Is Trump war-like enough? -

60 days in jail will shut him up for a while. -
For the second time in his civil fraud trial, Donald Trump has been found in violation of his gag order for attacking the judge’s law clerk. A law clerk is a non-partisan civil servant who performs work for the court. The clerk doesn’t make legal decisions and isn’t a party to a court case. Also, why does Trump continually complain about the unfairness of not getting a jury trial, when Trump and Trump alone waived his right to a jury trial?

Sounds like the Chinese military doesn’t like the work Joe Biden’s done to defend Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel. China would probably like Trump more, since he wouldn’t lift a finger to defend these nations, as if we can just let dictators take over every nation on earth and it’s only our problem when they attack the U.S. -
THIRD Trump Lawyer Pleads Guilty!
Rebound replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Bull. When someone pleads guilty it means they are guilty. These lawyers are now felons. They will probably be prohibited from practicing law. It is a serious thing. They are lawyers and they know what all of their legal options are. Instead of living in your land of make-believe, why don’t you go read what exactly they plead guilty to doing? Powell is the easy one: She walked into a county voting office and copied voting data out of a voting machine. I can see that you have difficulty understanding these things, but can you understand that you cannot walk into a county office, take its voting machines and copy the records from it, unless you have a court order to do so? All your other made up nonsense doesn’t matter; you can’t just steal and take whatever you want just because you think something happened. If your bank makes a mistake on your credit card, does it mean you can walk into the bank and help yourself to the money you think was taken from you? Or can you just walk in and take any computer banking data you want? Only if you want to go to prison. -
No. Stealing data from someone’s computer is illegal. So let’s stop there because it is clear that you are detached from reality. If you incentivize someone to steal something, and then they steal it, you are an accessory to the crime. If two or more people even plan a crime and they don’t commit the crime, it’s still conspiracy. This isn’t make-believe. That’s the law in the U.S., and Donald Trump broke these laws repeatedly.

No, I live in a world of object fact. Objective Facts: 1) Russian government funded groups illegally hacked the email accounts of Donald Trump’s political opposition. 2) WikiLeaks collaborated with these Russian groups to release these stolen files. 3) Rudy Giuliani stated that he knew a release of some of these files was coming imminently, and this then occurred. 4) Trump relished and delighted in these illegal activities, despite running for the office of President. And he asked Russia on live television to release more of Hillary Clinton’s stolen emails and that they would be rewarded for doing so. Those are all facts. Not conspiracy theory. Not distortions. Those things happened.
