  1. Yes, Trump had people fired, including the director of the FBI. And he even admitted he did it in hopes it would stop investigations into his shady activities. That doesn't make the director (a Republican) a bad guy or corrupt. Trump is a vindictive guy and as president he can get people fired. Interestingly, for a guy whose most famous phrase (written for him by TV writers) was "Your fired!" But he never had the balls to fire anyone face to face in real life. He wouldn't even do it on the phone. He had someone else do the job. From what I've seen they got fired for disagreeing with Donald Trump, who, while he wasn't an educated or experienced or knowledgeable or even an intelligent man, felt his 'gut' told him what was right after watching FOX. Now you see that's where you and Donald keep making mistakes. Neither the FBI nor the Justice Department are his attorneys. Their loyalty is to the law and constitution, not Donald Trump.
  2. You do? That's good. So you were personally at voting stations and saw and presumably smelled voting irregularities?
  3. These would be alternative facts, I take it?
  4. Acknowledged. But I'm still not remembering what major promises he broke.
  5. China is a threat because it is an expansionary fascist state with no ethical values or morals. It does not feel itself bound by any rules, laws, regulations or treaties, even the ones it has signed. It lies, cheats and steals from everyone they can reach and tries to undermine and influence local governments through bribery and threats.
  6. What did Harper promise he didn't follow through on?
  7. Rather like Trudeau did his first election, right? He promised everything from a new way to elect MPs to an 'open and transparent' government, to empowering individual MPs and House committees - and did none of it. Because all those promises were just to appeal to people who knew things were wrong and wanted change.
  8. And yet somehow you have nothing whatsoever to back that up.
  9. No it wasn't. He was a real estate developer. And actually, since he went bankrupt he wasn't even doing much of that any more. Instead he was licensing his name on stuff other people owned because back then that meant something. Of course, the 'name' he got was derived entirely from a television show as opposed to his own business abilities. Servants and employees. Dude, I look down on him. He's a putz. He's got no class and it's quite clear he bought his degree. Oh, boy. Of all the garbage associated with Trump that's the most laughably insane! Trumps' dad rented apartments to the working class. Trump wanted nothing to do with such people! He sold them all off and his entire life story has been of him trying to find things to cater to the wealthy: multi-million dollar condos, elite golf clubs, an airline that only had first class, high class casinos with seven kinds of marble in the floors and walls. The only working class people Trump ever wanted anything to do with were his servants.
  10. So you're okay with spouting off opinions as if they were facts event though you have nothing to back them up? I mean, doesn't that embarrass you even a little?
  11. Not according to Trump's attorney general. Not according to the Republicans in charge of the voting in the states Trump disputed. In fact, so far no one has been able to find any sign of fraud, except by a few individuals, mostly Republicans. Do you believe anything and everything Trump tells you?
  12. Trump says that all the time, even foregoing a salary. You don't think a Manhattan billionaire who inherited his wealth and never wanted or had anything to do with regular people in his life wasn't a hypocrite by portraying himself as the guy who would stand up for them against corporate America? And then ignored them to reward rich guys and corporate America?
  13. So.... you can't think of anything? So anyone Trump fired has to be a terrible person? What? From the entire country? He didn't promote Wray he brought him in from his former job as a law partner.
  14. So you have literally nothing to back up your statements. No, I'm not going to go searching for stuff to support you.
  15. Okay then. Which part DID he fix? As to the FBI, he appointed the director. Are you saying he screwed up (again)?
  16. Trudeau is certainly a liar. But he's still small-change compared to Trump's massive, continuous stream of nonsense.
  17. Republicans succeed in making woman carry certain Trump supporting baby to term.

  18. You know, there's a difference between being a bit slutty and standing on a street corner every night selling your wares to a dozen men a day. Trump is the street-corner prostitute of lying. His picture should be in every dictionary next to the word: liar.
  19. So are you saying Trump was too stupid to notice or too lazy to do anything about it?
  20. If by this you mean stop with the carbon tax nonsense, then I'm okay with it. But I do think we should be spending on developing and improving energy sources which are low/no carbon. That includes nuclear, as well as improving battery life and transmission efficiency. I also think we should be determining how a warmer climate will effect Canada and spending on ways to deal with that, such as flood control.
  21. The carbon tax has almost nothing to do with the environment.
  22. A link to a google search isn't much of a cite. And all that produces is a bunch of results talking about how police services are having trouble recruiting.
  23. I didn't say they were racist. I said they don't think much of minorities. Not due to some sense of racial superiority but because they see most minorities as the enemy in that they vote for the Democrats and consume tax dollars. The real issue is that most minorities are in the cities while Republican support is highest in the boonies. Living in the boonies requires a certain level of self sufficiency living in the city does not. Basic transportation, for one. You're not going to find country boys without cars but lots of city people don't own one, don't need one. Country people don't need the government to get them around. They don't need government to take care of their water or sewage. You get used to government doing all kinds of things for you when you live in the city. This is why city people tend to vote for parties which are for big government and country people don't.
  24. Only their numbers, brutality, and willingness to see the peasants die by the millions to get what they wanted. I'm at a loss to think of anything else Russia is famous for other than drunkards and corruption. Even the Communism they practiced for much of the twentieth century came from a German.
  25. AFAIK police recruitment has NEVER been a challenge. Any more than recruitment for the fire department. There are long lines of young men eager to get jobs they see as exciting and which pay high salaries. The challenge today is that police departments have been directed to practice 'diversity and equity', which in practice means desperately searching for female and minority candidates while ignoring a lot of capable white, male candidates.
