Get over it. Old news, like the song...Yesterday's Gone LOL Stupid people made stupid mistakes, got caught, charged, convicted and are sentenced. Whine and blame others for their actions all you want but it is over. LOL
-
Nope...it's a news story. See the link. https://ottawa.citynews.ca/2025/02/19/crown-seeking-10-year-sentence-for-freedom-convoy-organizer-pat-king/ Stupid people do stupid things and get charged and convicted and sentenced. That is the history. LOL More stupid people sentences to follow
-
Oh yeah...re-writing history LOL
-
Interestingly. Lilley makes a statement and then it is copied or repeated in social media but I have searched and cannot find any comment by Lizz Truss (the shortest PM unequivocal term of office, at 49 days.) anywhere. The Guardian says "'Even diehard Conservatives would not vote for her':" so, she has no credibility to begin with LOL Having said that, heir apparent Carney seems like a Trudeau clone like Freeland
-
Get over it...or keep up with the news Trudeau is gone. He already quit.
-
Point? Did you read the thread title? That was the point. One day you will wake up to today Rumpelstiltskin You and West are trying to make it something else...bottom line...King got sentenced....just like the title says. LOL He f#cked up and the others waiting for trial and sentencing will get the same....a slap on the wrist. You are the one whining, I only posted the news link. Shed me a tear you whining wimp and get over it. It is done and finished for King now. His life is in the toilet LOL
-
Yeah OK LOL They f#cked up and now pay the price....boo hoo red marks from the wrist slaps.
-
Yeah , OK. LOL A slap on the wrist for self inflicted wounds is hardily dictatorship LOL
-
Thatris what I said all along ...a slap on the wrist. The others will get the same. Whineand make yoour excuses all you want, they spent time in jail, spent money on their defence and are on probation...plus loss of jobs and reputation. They screwed their own life.... for what?? So you can worship them and be your heros??? LOL
-
So, as I thought and said. Pat King gets a slap on the wrist https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/pat-king-freedom-convoy-sentencing-1.7462617 "Pat King, a key organizer of the 2022 convoy protest in downtown Ottawa, got a three-month conditional sentence on Wednesday after the judge accounted for time already served in jail.".... He spent 4 months (?) in jail. Lost his job , cost him a lot of money and has a reputation of a troublemaker. Worth it?? "King is the first convicted leader of the Freedom Convoy to face significant punishment. Others, including Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, are awaiting the outcomes of their trials."

Trump's USAID destruction is UNCONSTITUTIONAL
ExFlyer replied to robosmith's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I actually think it is a great idea to do a deep clean of the international aid. There are some really debatable aid packages. I hope PP does this with Canadian international aid. I think a moratorium on aid of all kinds (federal, provincial and municipal) be conducted and do the business of Canada for a while. -
Duhhh, what are you saying??

It is not just the Military. "In 2023, around 30 percent of adults aged 18 years and older in Canada were obese, while 35.5 percent were overweight. Although the percentage of overweight adults stayed about the same from 2015 to 2022, the percentage of obese adults in the same time period increased by about four percentage points. In 2023, there were around nine million adults in Canada who were obese, while the number of adults who were overweight was almost 11 million. "

He will not be elected by the time he is leader and he will also not have a seat in government and able to vote or speak on anything official. He will not have been the first (or last) party leader not to have a seat. Having said that, there will not be any sitting of parliament till after the election anyway so, the point and discussion is moot.

It's not a matter of "playing chicken", it's a matter of opening your mouth carefully. Pi$$ing off a bully only makes your life more complicated. Choosing words is important, especially if you are not in power...yet.
-
Wow, entitlement gone wild LOL I am not offended at all, I am laughing at you because you think you are actually someone and think you re important...you are not! Guess what...like I said earlier, you are a contemptible zero and no one owes you anything. I will say one more time, get over yourself, no one, no company, no business no government needs to tell you anything. I have provided the Canadian laws and slapped you in the face with facts yet, your entitled self cannot understand...just get your feelings hurt LOL Suck it up buttercup, you ain't anyone, so you get nuthin. A loser like you never will but will keep on whining anyway LOL

Yes and, according the the laws and policies and procedures which you seem to be completely unaware of "Under Canada's Access to Information laws, citizens can access most government records held by federal institutions, including information about government spending, programs, policies, and activities, unless the information falls under specific exemptions related to national security, personal privacy, commercial confidentiality, or other sensitive areas that could harm public interest; essentially, most government information is accessible except for limited exceptions that are clearly defined in the law. " https://accessible.canada.ca/transparency/ATIP https://www.canada.ca/en/treasury-board-secretariat/services/access-information-privacy/access-information-act.html Key points about access to information in Canada: Who can access: Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals present in Canada. What is accessible: General government records related to operations of federal institutions, including information on programs, policies, spending, and government activities. Exceptions: Information that could harm national security, individual privacy, commercial confidentiality, federal-provincial relations, and certain cabinet documents. LOL Get over yourself. Suck it up and get real. You are not entitled to know any contractual, personal, proprietary or competitive business info..... let alone things designated secret. Carney and any other potential liberal leader had best shut up. Dissing Trump will only pi$$ him off more. Trump sees the liberals as democrats and he hates democrats. Hopefully PP will just temper his criticisms and "solutions".
-
Trump is on Canada because he hates Trudeau. Trudeau did nothing but diss Trump the last time Trump was president and Trump does not forget. The sooner an election and we dump Trudeau the sooner we get back to "normal."
