Is Bill C13, new language law, a real threat to Canada?
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Egghh! Egghh! Bilingualism! Egghh! Let's get enraged over the metric system and the Union Jack next. -
No they don't have to say it out loud, they can just prove they would say it by still being anti-vaxxers. BTW the whole rest of the world knows about HGTV and channels like it dedicated to how to improve your house and increase its value. Keep speaking up and removing all doubt, simpleton. Once I bought 5 acres for $10K, the assessed value didn't go up for 10 years. I cut all the marketable trees, cleared it and sold them to a mill. Sold it the next year for $25K just over the new assessment. And pocketed over $25K on the wood. Made $50K out of $10K but I suppose that can't possibly be done either.

So she was so f***ing butt stubborn she wouldn't get the vaccine to save her own f***ing life. And we're supposed to have sympathy for her. Willing to have herself cut open and someone elses guts stuffed inside her, but scared of a little needle jab.... in spite of having in twice. Like I guess we all know people who are so f***ing stupid they've had Covid two or three times and think that proves vaccines are bad.... DUHHHHHH ya just cant fix stupid.

Media reports majority do not support Monarchy
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Tradition is the least logical reason to hang onto something inefficient. Pomp & circumstance is the only reason the Monarchy still exists. Yet as recent times have proven beyond a doubt an Inbred Royal is preferable to electing a known mental defective to be tyrant for four years. -
Media reports majority do not support Monarchy
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So the polls point out most of us are well aware the Monarchy is a quaint anachronism, but until someone comes up with a better arrangement aren't willing to spend an ounce of energy let alone a nickel to DO something about it. Especially compared to a dysfunctional Republic that would cost us far more to run every month than a Royal visit every decade or so does. -
Gun control FACTS to ponder

You only post total LIES And not only have a selective memory, ya don't have a clue how TV drew in a fan base. Lie to convince yourself ignorance = facts. Like your thrown out ex-President your take of Make Americans Ugly Again = "greatness" belief represented true Americans was fun to mock and laugh at for a while but is now just sickening and depressing and the World just wants you to STFU and go away. -

What have what Mexicans hold as idols have to do with the cost of the Pope's visit to Canada? Absolutely nothing whatsoever. If you want to start a discussion you can't just tie two completely unrelated subjects together like a cheap Internet meme and pretend they're connected. You've already lost an argument/discussion if you start with a 'whataboutism'.

Criminal law is federal, and Judges are bound to act on federal law and Supreme Court rulings, not on the ldesires of Mayors, Premiers and Provincial prosecutors. RUlings must come from the top... and that's overdue. Add in the fact you do not hear about rulings that aren't the revolving door as that's the norm and not news. I have noticed in the weekly paper that still does the court reports there's a lot more of the local cases getting time compared to a year ago. But the one that didn't is still headline on Page 1, not buried on Page 16 with the rest. The scumbag down the street finally had to beat a girl to death to get locked up after years of dealing, assaults, even chasing people down the street with axes and being back there doing it again a day later....

And when the wife worked at the pub, they weren't allowed to see those electronic receipts. The Boss "said" how much got put into the tip pool, and even the Boss got a cut, and the bookeeper. So I always do cash, the server can decide to toss it in the pool or slip it in their pocket.
-
Last night went for dinner and the tip option on the debit machine started with an 18% minimum. I never do that, always tip with cash. It's for the server, NOT the kitchen staff, the cleaner, or thru the debit machine where the owner just steals it.

Gun control FACTS to ponder

Let's all just post 9 irrelevant trivia and pretend they have something to do with our supposition. Then claim everone else is a loony -
$800 million settlement so that the even worse wouldn't exposed in court and you're still bawling about voter fraud. Go choke on your My Pillow.

I don't like it either, but that's how things work. Only the stupidest, blindest and the outright liars could comment that's the fault of liberals and leftists, VW is playing countries off against each other just like most corporate interests do with large investments. At least we're being told these are subsidies, we aren't paying a full $13 billion out of gov't funds, most of it will cost us future tax revenue not cash out of pocket like a lot of people seem to think. We could also gut labour laws, give free land, loosen child labour laws and deny flat outright that it was subsidizing like some Goober State we had to compete against for the plant. Justin's Daddy would've used the $13 billion to open a public corporation battery plant that employed the same workers, returned profits to the public and forced the corporations to compete against it. But Oh No! that's communism like PetroCanada was, we can't do that, its bad mmmkay?

WhyTF does every thread degenerate into rants about trannies? What's the obscene fixation with the subject? And who the hell has the right to judge what someone else does with their body? -
