I have noticed in the weekly paper that still does the court reports there's a lot more of the local cases getting time compared to a year ago. But the one that didn't is still headline on Page 1, not buried on Page 16 with the rest. The scumbag down the street finally had to beat a girl to death to get locked up after years of dealing, assaults, even chasing people down the street with axes and being back there doing it again a day later....
