40 odd years ago we lived in Burnaby and worked in Langley, so we bought a house in Langley. Within months, both our employers moved the jobs back to Burnaby. If they'd had hybrids then, even with 50 kms of EV range, I don't want to think of how much I would've saved on gas stuck in traffic crossing the bridge twice a day. We'd probably own 1 Hybrid SUV and a BEV if we were in that boat today.
