  1. Why don't you malcontents just hire Tucker Carlson to make a video to help convince yourselves what happened didn't? You're wasting your time trying to convince anyone with a brain.
  2. When you want to convince yourself something's a bad idea, ensure you include every disproven and irrelevant idea to do so. Propose ideas that can't and haven't worked for a century and claim the ideas being tried in the last year or so are the root of the problem. You'll find much support among the unenlightened.
  3. Back in the 1980s (B4 kids) I had a D50 Ram 4x4 (Mitsubishi), a friend had a Mazda Rotary, another a Courier and there were 10X as many Toyota 4x4s when we ernt camping & offroading. Just a little pickup like that with a little space behind the seats would be perfect even now there's just me & my doggie. I bought my D50 with a tiny gutless 2.0L intentionally, to ease down the 27 pts. I'd accrued on my license as a young guy. It worked! If they come out with a hybrid PHEV version at the target price, I would dump my 2dr Wrangler in a flash.
  4. better not, they'd try to 'erase history' and convince everyone their masters weren't just f***ing golden. Might even tear down the statues that were erected to taunt them.
  5. No I'd never condemn making a profit, that's how I lived. I'm trying to point out how people seem to have completely forgotten how to act as consumers. If it's too much - don't buy it. If no one buys $2+ gas, or $50lb steak the price will fall. It works both ways. Unfortunately with not buying a house it only works if your rent doesn't keep skyrocketing. Hell I've seen rents for mobile homes here listed at $2000 a month and know the owners, if they even have a mortgage on it, are paying $500-$600. If I was 30 years younger, I'd grab the one next door and have an instant $1000 or better income
  6. Actually domeof the brest interiots rated are EVs, read driving.ca to keep up with auto news. And hold off - you may want to wait for the Toyota Stout they're bringing back their little trucks to N America to compete with the Maverick. I know that would interest me, no one made small pickups last time I went shopping.
  7. Yes if you measure by doing the wrong thing faster than Trudeau can do the right thing as competency.
  8. So let's blame the sellers, not the fool who paid $2.3 million for the house Dad bought for $19.900 in 1960.
  9. Did you expect anything about 'American Greatness' to not blame everything on socialism? That would be like expecting the Fraser Institute to condemn corporate handouts. ONLY America refuses to do things that further society because that's socialism, so all the rest of the world is wrong. Right?
  10. OMG here we go again with Trudeau and the Aunty Vaxx freedumb convoy. Like a terrier after a rat. You lost that one. You've lost every court appeal. Give it up already. PP and Danielle have both lost support for their defence of Convid10ts. Like a Trump retard still going on about Hillary's emails>
  11. Go find one. I dare you. Don't go by the 'starts at' MSRP ad, if a dealer's already got one they'll hose you way more.If you order from the factory, they'll ding you at least $2000 delivery & prep. And BTW the site is predominantly Canadian. $20K USD translates to $27K Cdn.
  12. They've been saying that in Vancouver since the 1970s. Didb't stop us buying our first house at 18% interest and selling it for 50% more when it was still 15% interest....
  13. Don't most families already own 2 vehicles? That's how it's been since the late 1950s. If you're single and living in a downtown apartment, you're already nuts not to own an EV
  14. Seeing as I just stated that men have no right in the final decision, it should make clear women should be free to choose. And seeing as how this thread has nothing f***ing at all to do with the subject of the thread, it's merely another diversion because a responder can't argue to the subject (as usual) let's drop discussion of abortion.
  15. Ok, so after the USA had Trump, Russia had to prove to the world they were at least as incompetent & corrupt.
  16. Don't argue about abortion, you're both men so you have no right other than to accept a woman's decision.
  17. OMG she spoke to a group with "ties to China" said her opponents while buying ramen noodles at Walmart....
  18. I'm shocked how some people insist no one wants EVs, point to old sales figures as proof, yet builders can't keep up with demand for them and sales are skyrocketing. As they do with pricing, complaining they can't buy a $20K EV when you can't buy any new cars for $20K. The average price Canadians spend on a new vehicle is over $50K. There are plenty of EVs in that range - if you can find one on a lot that's not already sold. Add that to this range nonsense that you can't take the kids to WallyWorld in an EV when you'd save more money than it would cost to rent a minivan for your 2 weeks vacation.
  19. In what way is Canadian culture affected by eliminating Fox News from mandatory inclusion in the basic package? Other than making it better by removing the worst of American influence?
  20. Amazing how much hatred there is for the homeless when so many people are just one paycheck away from becoming one.
  21. If you do lots of long range driving then you're not the market they make EVs for. I live where I might drive 100km one day a week, 350km every 3 or 4 weeks and 1000km+ at most twice a year. I'd be foolish not to consider selling one of my SUVs and getting an EV as there's lots that will have the range 360 days a year. Or even to combine topping up with taking a meal break or motel stay which I do anyway. Sure as hell ain't doing anymore 1000km hotshots at my age. A couple 1/2 hr quick charges and an overnight to get from here to Vancouver is no problem at all.
  22. No they're not. They're saying 'human caused', you're warped brain is adding the 'intentional' bit. The thread headline seeming to say that in the butt-stubborn Conservative province of Alberta they might barely squeak out a win is under fire according to the latest polls. https://globalnews.ca/news/9696826/alberta-election-abacus-data-may-13/ Q: has Alberta ever had a minority gov't?
  23. That's why it is a requirement in school, isn't it? So everyone knows the basic stuff. And hopefully it's still a requirement in Senior High for anyone on a program that offers more future than being a ploughboy.
  24. "The media" reported it, so you don't f***ing believe it. Well believe this, if you kill someone, intentional or not, you've committed manslaughter. If the guy can prove he threatened immediate threat to his or anyone elses life, he won't be convicted. Get out of reason10's fantasy world where you should celebrate killing of people for the thinnest of excuses.
