What is Trump’s Abortion Stance?
herbie replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Cuz there's no such thing as preborn children you stubborn ass. And mainly because it's not your body, so you sure as hell don't have any 'rights' over it in the least. -
Canada is not the "greatest" country on Earth. It is the best country. And WHY TF did you quote that f*cking White Nationalist link in your thread? What has that got to do with either Canada or 'greatness'?

What is Trump’s Abortion Stance?
herbie replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
WTF does the opinion of someone who can't get pregnant cuz he's a man and one so rich he can fly anyone he knocks up to Sweden for an abortion matter? The guy was stupid enough to latch onto a subject that's political suicide and is now scrabbling to get out from under the mess he created. It's ONLY the opinion of the woman that's pregnant that matters, nobody else. -
Federal government to put 100% tariff on EVs made in China
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I hate being so pessimistic but that's realism when you see the same outfits benefit from every policy claimed to be protecting jobs/consumers. And the hypocrisy of handing out EV grants to buyers and massive tax cuts and subsidies to our own EV producers and then bawling that China subsidizes EVs is hypocrisy at it's finest. Those buyer grants were supposed to help people buy EVs until the makers scaled up production so the prices were similar and what happened? The dicked, dawdled ended production of affordable EV models and boosted prices on everything they made. Stopped the Chevy Volt just when hybrids started to get popular. Ended the Chevy Bolt cuz it sold to well but the profit margin wasn't 'good enough'. Same 1diots that sold 10 million Caravans and stopped production to sell Pacifica's at double the price. And filled car lots with Dodge Hornets hybrids that no one buys as they're 50% more than anything comparable. I was super interested until I saw the price! Of the 20+ cars I owned since I learned to drive 9 were Dodge/Plymouth/Jeep, 2 Chev, 5 Fords. The next and probably last car I get will be a PHEV, from Japan or Korea. -
The Greens will not get wiped out. So the retards that think Singh should pull support for JT and let them wreck everything they ever stood for can follow the same pipe dream that the Greens would ever support a climate denying f*ckwad like Rustad. Yeah the guy who's entire riding spent summer watching for evac alerts and listening to helicopters overhead, and was in charge of forests when winters suddenly didn't get cold enough for the first time since the province was settled to kill the bugs that killed all the trees and caused almost all the jobs to disappear doesn't "believe" climate change is real. Good choice for a leader if you want to destroy things completely. Ya remind me of my Scot relatives, drink until you get miserable, drink more and get more miserable, keep going until you broke some furniture, punched out your brother and told your wife she was a cow sent the children off to the bootlegger to get more booze. Grab your morning copy of the Nazional Post to read more about how shitty and hopeless everything is and how it's (Trudeau's, leftists, Singhs, progressives, Ottawa's fault - pick at least one). Convince yourself over coffee how liars, opportunists and the uneducated will save you.

Why do we need mass immigration again?
herbie replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Because you can't f*cking read, I just did you halfwit. You gotta be some special kind of dyslexic infantile pinhead to read something and then claim it said something else with every single reply to a post. -

herbie replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Nope, more on the tone of our anti-immigration posters. Y'know those that are gonna comment how JT's recognition that there are problems amount to failure or weakness because he changed his mind a little instead of 'doubling down'. I'm a fixer by nature, not a 'threw my sister's bike off the bridge cuz it got a flat tire and was useless". A 'got a new job' instead of 'quit cuz the Boss was a jerk and now the bastards won't give me EI' type. Or a "why spend $60 to fix my desktop when I can get a new laptop for only $600" like I deal with every day. -
Why do we need mass immigration again?
herbie replied to I am Groot's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I'll say it again: Cut the TFW program except for farm workers. Leave it up to emploters and Cdn workers to solve their issues or fail Cut the number of immigration workers so the time to process applications is NOT reduced. Offer all immigrants willing, by their own free choice to post a bond committing to reside in any area 200km from a major population center for 5 years to move to the top of the list. You don't need to cut immigration you need what amounts to "settlers" just like we needed in the early 1900s. If they sent 100 people here, those 100 would create more jobs, production and increased economic benefits than ALL the govt grants and incentives in the last 50 years. No one would complain the guy slinging burgers is from somewhere else or 'stealing jobs' if they lived on their street, started their own business, hired their kids or spent their wages on property taxes and things sold in Canada. Would they? right here: A bakery - not partially reheated frozen shit from a Toronto warehouse A clothing store Work shoes, clothes, footwear A corner store, a 7-11, a Kwik-E-Mart FFS Any cafe, diner, restaurant that is open at SUPPERTIME And one that serves anything other than burgers or f*cking chicken wings at any other time Any store the owner orders things he knows people will buy instead of just what head office sends There's an empty gas station & store across the street from the beach that someone could open a Dairy Queen (one of the cheapest franchises) and sell ice cream in the summer, branded, reliable burgers all year round and be the only gas station within town. Plumber Electrician HandyMan Landscaper Building Mtc. and more You could make $$ intown small delivery with an EV Nurses, hospital staff Like FFS you might not end up Elon Musk rich but you'll make a living, afford a house, raise a family and be able to swim, fish, ski, hunt, hike, explore minutes from home. Or you can go on moaning about how no one will give you a job and how shitty it is to live in Cement City and how immigrants are taking something away from you. I'm suggesting offering that to new immigrants as I know none of you would accept that commitment. -
Federal government to put 100% tariff on EVs made in China
herbie replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
They're so "left" they'll abandon their environmental policies to suck up to the USA. Where they think the gov't helps them by making sure huge corporations don't have to compete and that's Free Enterprise. Exactly like they did in 1965 only worse. The big three hasn't competed against small pickup trucks in 60 years, they just made ones they could make the most profit from and took away everyone's choice. And they won't endanger those billions invested in battery plants. They'll just make huger batteries for those vehicles consumers will never afford. They'll go into fleets of in town delivery trucks the companies can write off and claim that's why your can of Pepsi went up to $5 in the near future. And still leaves 10 years for them to jack up ICE vehicle prices $10,000 a year until EVs are equally profitable. Perhaps even see battery production costs fall another 90% (like it already did) so they will only need to charge $100,000 for a replacement in 2035. -
Is Canada allowing too many Asians to live here?

There is no cure for stupid. I can't help cure you, no one can. -
Spoken like a true dupe that can't tell the difference between a Liberal, Conservative or NDP, let alone conservativism and the populist extremism you think it should be. KIDDO Your infantile perception of politics and awareness of the wishes of fellow Canadians is well reflected on this forum among your fellow either or political deviants. While you were waddling in diapers, I worked on the campaign to rid BC of the corrupt and incestuous Social Cretins and later twice was on the local constituency and campaign for our local BC Liberal candidate. Who won in a landslide. I also live in Rustad's riding and watched him slide into his current dementia of climate denial, antivax BS from the local redneck Churchies in his home base in Jesusland, adopt a reversed position on Native matters in a riding that's at least 40% First Nations and bag lick almost every divisive social issue that politics can't solve as he panders to sheer populism vs actual policy issues. KIDDO He's been the MLA for 12+ years and his entire riding has faded into a mere shadow of what it was in the 1990s both economically and socially. Take a drive down Hwy 16 West and see the shuttered shops, where the plants, stores and mills used to be and tell me that's the guy who's gonna fix things for all BC. Damn rights I'll vote NDP come October, then I may well agitate to reform an actual middle of the road Liberal party out of genuine liberals and other Blue Democrats, even invite Christie Clark to help. Simply because 3 terms of anybody is enough.

Yep we know you'll concede your own principles if it mean "Winning" just like Falcon did. West coast surrender monkey. Screwed every centrist free enterprise voter in BC in his own concept of 'owing the libs'. The right thing would've been to run the election and hope that between United & Cons they could pull what the NDP/Greens did and take power. THEN enter merger talks at the Party level. Once Party leader now low man on the totem pole.
-
You mean thanks to the spineless limpwrist that not only dissolved his party without consulting his party or the BC electorate and must now kneel before and play 2nd fiddle to the very man that kicked him in the nuts. Winning is everything even if you have to give up on everything you believe in and so lack any shame you still think that's winning. No spine, no shame. no honour. Abandoned every centrist voter in BC to concede a chance for the anti-vaqx, anti-environment, anti-first nations, social regressive populist with no actual platform to "win". Faclon = ****. Wimp. Traitor.

Is Canada allowing too many Asians to live here?
herbie replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Redwrite the dictionary for us? It translates literally as undermen or subhuman in proper English, used to mean racially or socially inferior. Misfits, the criminals, the unwashed masses so to speak. A term coined by Aryans, the Grand Masters of the delusion of white supremacy. IMHO it well describes followers of such beliefs who are so uncultured, uneducated and unethical they can't see any fault in racism and can't logically defend the practice. -

The spreaders of racial hatred twisting their panties into knots claiming everyone else is Nazi. The sheer lever of stupidity involved to maintain the indefensible. Hillary's deplorables was about the kindest expression in the English language to describe them. Proud to be racists. Proud to have no sense of shame. Proud to be ignorant. Proud to be the true untermenschen. -
I Need to Ask Millennials--Why Are your Kids so Awful?
herbie replied to a topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
No shit. Had a hobby farm, 2 cars, 2 kids and a couple hundred K in the bank and my Dad was muttering about my generation that bought a $2000 boat before we had a pot to p1ss in.... jealous as we grew up on the Coast, had a family cabin on a lake and never did own a boat. My sister bought a canoe and left it at his cabin...
