Trump's Cognitive Decline
Aristides replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Because he couldn't answer the question. He held a town hall and spent 40 minutes dancing without answering questions. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-crowd-leaves-early-audience-made-listen-music-long-time-1969034 His behaviour gets more bizarre the closer we get to the election I'm the same age as Trump and in a lot better shape and there is no way I could do a job like that for the next four years and if he wins it will kill him. The same goes for Biden. -
Trump's Cognitive Decline

The Democrats had the sense to dump their senile old man, Republicans aren't that smart. -

Did they lose and how much did it cost them? -

You mean the one that had to shell out almost $800 million for lying? -
When it comes to merit and achievement, Gates doesn't take a back seat to anyone and he is one of the few mega rich who are trying to pay it back on a large scale. Our upside down world has made them villains while lionizing users like Trump.. https://tfn.scot/lists/worlds-most-generous-billionaires-and-how-to-contact-them

A bullshit question to the EU parliament based on a statement from an Italian blogger. I rest my case. Jet fuel is kerosene similar to winter diesel. The emissions produced by aircraft are no different from those of any diesel truck you see driving down the road. Yes, there are other compounds being emitted but no different from any other diesel exaust.

Did you bother to read it. It’s about trying to slow global warming by simply spraying water into the air, not trying to control weather. Gates is spending billions of his own money trying to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and he is a villain. The likes of Bezos, Musk and other billionaires just work on making themselves richer and building their own egos and they are heros. What an upside down world we live in.

The US has a weird election system to begin with, where individual states control federal elections and then elect presidents with their electors who in 48 states are determined by a winner take all the votes within that state. This not a very democratic system but in order to not make it worse, all the states would have to go to a congressional district system like Maine and Nebraska at the same time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Electoral_College https://www.npr.org/2024/03/18/1239107257/nebraska-and-maine-allocate-electoral-college-votes-differently-than-other-state

Likely military, Growlers out of Whidbey Island NAS or some such thing. Civilian contrails will be straight except for when they are making a course change. There is a ton of traffic between SeaTac and Anchorage so you will see a lot of aircraft climbing out of or descending into SeaTac as well as Vancouver departures and arrivals. Contrails need a range of humidity and temperature to form and will stay until upper winds disperse them or they sink to an altitude where conditions are not favourable. The only way a crew knows if they are contrailing is if the sun is in a position where they can see their shadow on the ground or cloud below them.

If one candidate gets 51% of the votes in a state they get 100% of that state's EC votes and the one that got 49% gets none. How as that proportional. I never made any such statement. In all our disagreements I have never insulted you once but you just can't disagree with anyone without making it personal. This the last response you will get from me.

If EC votes were applied proportionally they would reflect how all the people in a state voted, not just a simple majority. A majority would still get more votes than the minority. The millions of Republican voters in states like California would still get some EC votes instead of none like they get now. In the meantime, stick you personal insults up your ass. Thanks for reminding me to put you back on ignore because you are incapable of disagreement without insults.
