I dispute your pathetic attempt to equivocate those so-called “disputes” with Trumps Big Lie. Even the controversial Bush-Gore election where dispute was fully justified, Gore conceded. The fascist attempt to destroy democracy isn’t just the violent Jan 6 mob unleashed on the capital (which may or may not have been intentional). Promoting the Big Lie itself is an assault on democracy and Trumps behind-the-scenes attempts to pressure state officials to doctor their counts in his favour (see his phone call with Georgia officials) is most certainly an assault on democracy.

LMAO Nice try. Gaslight much? Trump’s Big Lie is unprecedented. Nothing in history even comes close to his facist attempt to destroy democracy. And right wing crackpot Ann Coulter is not an authority on anything anyways but did you know she’s a Trump hater? Ann Coulter Blames ‘Gigantic Pussy’ Trump for MAGA Riots: ‘I Hate Him’ A year ago, former Trump supporter Ann Coulter wrote a column titled “I Want Him to Lose,” but decided at the time, “Ah fuck it, I don’t want to screw over other Republicans. I’ll just keep my mouth shut.” But Coulter—who during the 2016 campaign wrote a book-length endorsement of her preferred candidate, In Trump We Trust—felt no such restraint on Wednesday as the violent spectacle of gun-toting Trump acolytes storming the United States Capitol in armed standoffs with cops unfolded on global television screens. “We finally got the authoritarian liberals have been talking about,” the right-wing firebrand told The Daily Beast. “And I want to point out what a gigantic pussy he is. Who are these people still supporting Trump and this nonsense ‘stop the steal’? I don’t understand why. Why are you doing this for Trump when he doesn’t give a crap about you? These poor, working-class Americans, hanging on by their fingernails! No, he didn’t have time for them. He was too busy talking to Bob Woodward.” Coulter went on: “He held a rally and he encouraged them to march on the Capitol while he goes back to the White House to have a nice lunch because he’s a gigantic pussy. He always has other people doing his dirty work. He was this tough guy on The Apprentice. He couldn’t even fire his own attorney general. He sent Corey Lewandowski to do it. He just trash-tweets Jeff Sessions on Twitter. Oooohh what a big man!” Coulter sputtered with rage as she vented about the soon-to-be ex president. “I hate him,” she seethed. … “Trump betrayed his own supporters at every turn,” Coulter added. “He turned over his presidency to Idiot Boy Jared. Who is still supporting this guy? So now we see. And he tells them, ‘yeah go march on the Capitol,’ and then he goes back to the White House, gets in bed and starts tweeting.” …Yes, I knew he was a huckster. I think we all did. But one thing there was no warning of was Jared and Ivanka. They ran this presidency and all they cared about was impressing Kim Kardashian and sucking up to Wall Street…After he was elected, we got the most gigantic bait-and-switch in history…That was a shocker.” As the Trump flag-toting mob rampaged through Statuary Hall, the Senate chamber, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, Coulter mused: “It enrages me. This is the first time there has been mob violence from conservatives, and we’re never gonna hear the end of it.” She argued that the infamous “Brooks Brothers Riot” of Palm Beach County 20 years ago didn’t come close. “And thank you, Donald Trump—his last gift to the Republican Party.” She continued: “How many Republicans is Donald Trump going to screw before he leaves office? I just hope this ends anybody talking about Ivanka and Don Junior running for office. This is the capstone of the Trump presidency.” …… https://www.thedailybeast.com/ann-coulter-blames-gigantic-pussy-trump-for-maga-rioting-i-hate-him

How’s that bogus “election fraud” Big Lie working out for ya? ? Lets recap: Lindell’s fraud-a-palooza fest in North Dakota turned out to be as big of a joke as he is. His “big reveal” at that event was supposed prove the election was stolen and result in Biden being forced from office by August 13 wasn’t it? Instead even the kook supporters who showed up said it was a scam Meanwhile Giulianis law license has been suspended for his election lies and he is deep in debt with more legal and financial woes on the horizon. Trump won’t promote his fundraising campaigns because Trump discards people like garbage when he no longer has use for them Sydney Powell and the rest of Krakken team have been dragged into courts all over the country over their lies. They first tried to defend themselves from a lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems by saying “no reasonable person would believe us” a strategy that is doomed to fail. In another case they face sanctions for filing frivolous lawsuits filled with baseless, vague and unverified claims, hearsay and other such nonsense that doesn’t come close to meeting a legal standard anywhere, without even basic fact-checking…what the judge called “profound abuse of the legal system. “ The Trumptards’ defence eventually came down to apologizing and saying “I did such shitty work because Im only human and fell victim to my own confirmation bias!” Now they have to pay the legal fees that the their bogus lawsuit cost the state of Michigan, complete 12hours of legal education including 6 hours of election law education and likely face further discipline from their state bar associations In Arizona, the Trumptard election audit by the completely incompetent, inexperienced and unqualified Trumptard firm Cyber Ninjas has been a Three Stooges comedy of epic proportions, rife with blind-leading-the-blind confusion, mismanagement of every type, miscount after miscount and infighting. The audit results are months overdue and because it’s a Republican shit show, it was also rife with Fox News-style open and blatant sexual harassment of female Trumptard staffers while management turned a blind eye and ignored the women’s complaints. And meanwhile Trump and Republicans continue to use their false election fraud claims as a fundraising scam and have taken in hundreds of millions of dollars to “stop the steal” but in reality they have spent absolutely none of it on anything related to their election fraud claims, instead redirecting it to their secret-donor SuperPACS from where they can legally pay the money to themselves or to cronies they want to buy favours from And speaking of election fraud, 2 well-known Republican propagandists, Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, who have a long track record of publicity stunts meant to spread false accusations and smear campaigns, are facing a $5million fine for robocalls during the election that purposely spread false information to discourage voting, primarily targeting black communities. Still no evidence of a stolen election other than “because trump said so that’s the only proof I need”. And there’s no evidence because as anyone who is not a brainwashed idiot can see it’s just a BIG LIE that only the most gullible and desperate of suckers could possibly fall for

Things don’t magically change 180 degrees overnight after decades of being the exact opposite just because one person makes vague promises of change that a significant number of his followers oppose. I’m not saying o’toole is going to champion the culture wars but those right wing pundits as well as factions within the CPC who are have already been pushing that agenda in the media and public dialogue aren’t going to magically disappear and they will have to be placated from time to time to shore up the conservative base.
-
Yea I read the union support in the press coverage but I believe it’s a smokescreen from a party that has been unapologetically anti-union since it’s founding and O’Toole himself has supported anti-union bills in the past. From what I can tell this is not so much “support” for unions as much as it is publicly acknowledging unions’ right to exist and calling for a ceasefire in the conservatives’ endless war against organized labour. This is not expected to play well with the conservative pro-business, anti-labour base and can’t magically undo over a century of conservative rhetoric equating unions with Marx,Mao, Lenin and Stalin.

All the political right has to offer: 1) A continuation of the austerity measures of the past 40 years that have destroyed the working and middle classes for the benefit of corporations and billionaires. 2) Amped-up American-style culture wars and fake controversies 3) Climate change denial and pandering to the dying fossil fuel industry Voters aren’t interested in any of these things and will gladly take Trudeau’s various personal foibles, gaffes and mini-scandals instead.

Voter fraud is real! BUT it turns out that it’s mostly Republicans committing the fraud and the current system is good enough to catch them. The latest Republican mass disenfranchisement of black people not required! And of course because “there’s no systemic racism” we should completely ignore the fact that all the white male Trump supporters who deliberately committed voter fraud for Trump got slaps on the wrists and verbal warnings while the one black woman who was unaware that she wasn’t YET eligible to vote was sent to prison for 5yrs over an honest misunderstanding! GOP voter caught casting a ballot for a dead relative A white voter in Pennsylvania cast an illegal ballot for his dead mother. He received a vastly lighter sentence than Crystal Mason. This keeps happening. Aug. 17, 2021, 9:20 AM EDT In the wake of Donald Trump's defeat last fall, Republicans launched a desperate search for illegally cast ballots to help justify the GOP's conspiracy theories. But as regular readers know, despite all the hysterical rhetoric, only a handful of legitimate allegations have been raised -- and some of the most notable examples involve Republicans casting illegal ballots on behalf of dead relatives. ….As we've discussed, there are a handful of ways to look at incidents like these. My first thought is of Crystal Mason, who cast a provisional ballot in the 2016 while on supervised release for a federal conviction. She didn't know she was ineligible to vote, and her ballot was never counted, but Mason -- a Black woman -- was convicted of illegal voting and sentenced to five years in prison. It's hard not to notice that White men like Robert Richard Lynn, Edward Snodgrass, and Bruce Bartman received vastly more lenient sentences, despite the fact that they knowingly hatched schemes to cast illegal ballots on behalf of dead relatives.… https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/another-gop-voter-caught-casting-ballot-dead-relative-n1276965

The only stupid person here is you because you totally dodged the question and missed the point again. You showed me a vid of ONE FEMALE failing to do a her job. I asked you why that ONE FEMALE should be used as justification to ban ALL WOMEN including those who could easily do the job. You didn’t answer. Now answer the fucking question Your subsequent comments all dodge the same question why ban an entire gender when you can just ban individuals who can’t meet the physical requirements? I think the real reason is that you only spent a coffee break in the military before washing out and it bothers you to no end that lowly women have found success where you’ve failed Lastly rape culture isn’t a legitimate fo of “stress relief” and most sexual predators in the military or elsewhere ate not shell-shocked combat veterans struggling with PTSD. They’re just young toxic male dude-bros who’ve been given a wink and a nod by people who think like you and permitted to get away with escalating behaviour and comments that creates a dangerous environment -
Who knows? I’m not defending it, just shredding your ridiculous fantasy about him and Obama. A politician posing for a picture at with another guest at a schmooze event is neither “chumminess” nor an endorsement. I know all about Farrakhan and Nation of Islam. They’re not good people IMO. But your fear and loathing of black people, especially outspoken black people, has caused you to exaggerate greatly.

Yeah those are legitimate terrorist attacks including the 11 drivers actually charged with terrorism you moron. They weren’t scared motorists they were right wing nutjobs who deliberately drove down to the protests with the goal of ramming the crowds. Do you not read? Of course you dont Why aren’t they terrorist attacks but a mentally ill person is autoworkers considered a terrorist attack if they have to be of Middle Eastern dissent or have som vague interest in Islam? If a mentally ill white man does something I don’t automatically assume he’s a white supremacist terrorist.

Republican gaslighting again. Sure and 9/11 was just a disgruntled airline passenger incident. It wasn’t unarmed and don’t gloss over the vandalism, assault of over 100 police officers, several deaths, and plot to assassinate the VP and members of Congress. -

Cats away lol If Trumps the cat, it was Putin’s lap he was sitting in. Now that Putin’s pet is out of office, it’s time Putin to cash in on the damage Trump’s done in the last 4 years to NATO and the pro-western Ukrainians -

Trumps lie about the election is now commonly referred to as The Big Lie. If you ask me, it’s an understatement considering how many big lies he’s told and his attempt to end American democracy in a coup is so much more serious than simply a lie. -

See that’s what I mean. How can you claim the evidence says so when literally every authority including trusted Republican ones and Trump-appointed ones says otherwise? It’s because Trump says so and everyone else disagrees with Trump then it mist mean there’s an anti-Trump conspiracy even though there’s zero evidence of such - especially involving these Republicans. Yet because your Dear Leader is infallible and cannot be wrong, Republicans who simply disagree with dear leader is the only proof needed that they’re conspiring with Dear Leaders enemies. Like really Mike Pence is collaborating with Democrats? You don’t see the circular logic? 1) Trusted Republican contradicts Trump 2) Trusted Republican should be ignored because he’s conspiring with the enemy 3) The only proof he’s conspiring with the enemy is the fact that he contradicted Trump 4) start over at 1 That is the epitome of cult thinking Let me put it to you this way, Trump being human, what if he was wrong about something, how would you know? Who would you believe if they told you that? The answer is nobody because you would never believe it no matter who told you. -

So now you admit you don’t believe the election was stolen? Somehow I doubt -
It was a Congressional event and Farrakhan was invited by another Congressman. People at these events schmooze, shake hands and get their pictures taken together. Everything aside from the 1-3 seconds it took the 2 men to say cheese for the camera when it happened almost 16 years ago is in your imagination including the relationship you think they had. Honestly you have invented an entire story inside your head with nothing to go on but this one snapshot taken out of context And while Farrakhan is certainly a propagandist of hate, he’s not anyore Hitler than hate-speakers on the right like Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter or Ezra Levant

You want a cite that The MAGA Bomber Cesar Sayoc actually existed or what? That he lives in a van covered with Trump posters and was known Trump nut? Ok if you’re that out of touch: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2019/08/05/cesar-sayoc-sentenced-to-20-years-for-sending-bombs-to-trump-critics.html Or that the guy who shot up the Asian rub and tugs in Atlanta was a sexually repressed conservative who “loved god and guns”? And who belonged to a church that believes “adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, polygamy, pedophilia, pornography, or any attempt to change one’s sex, or disagreement with one’s biological sex” as “sinful and offensive to God.” https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/national/atlanta-shooting-suspect-robert-aaron-long/2021/03/19/9397cdca-87fe-11eb-8a8b-5cf82c3dffe4_story.html%3foutputType=amp The Pittsburgh synagogue shooter was a self-described conservative and white nationalist. He was obsessed with” immigrant caravans” that conservatives are always fomenting hysteria in and attacked the synagogue because they did charity work helping migrants and he believed there was a Jewish conspiracy to flood America with migrant ls “At one point Bowers was fascinated by right-wing radio host Jim Quinn. At a later time he became a follower of "aggressive online provocateurs of the right wing's fringe."[62] He was deeply involved in posting on websites such as Gaband promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories through such social media sites.[63]...Bowers posted support of the "Western chauvinist" Proud Boys. ....He used his online accounts to post conspiracy theories regarding philanthropist George Soros... To be fair this guy was an anti-Trump conservative but nobody said all Republicans were identical, they a clown-car of different crazies and extremist groups They all share some traits though like Soros conspiracies and immigrant hysteria that was certainly whipped up by trump and the hateful right and of course love of guns in this case https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pittsburgh_synagogue_shooting Roy Den Hollander is a conservative “anti-feminist” and “men’s rights activist” responsible for 2 separate murders in California and New Jersey, the latter targeting a female federal judge but instead killing her son and wounding her husband. Yeah don’t dial back your die-hard Trump supporting track record like the last 5 years never happened. As but one obvious example: You believe THE BIG LIE despite the fact that every state and federal official and judge has dismissed it, including lifelong Republicans with a solid Republican track record andTrump appointees who uave no reason to lie. You conclude that because they don’t support trump’s lie they mist he secretly colluding with Democrats and the only “evidence” you have is that they don’t support Trump’s lie.
