The CPC has no need to dirty their hands..
shoop replied to I Miss Trudeau's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The thing to do, given that IMT is an obvious troll, is to PM Greg and complain. I know Greg will probably ban him when he reads this crap, but the more of us that complain the more likely that is to happen. -

The title of the thread clearly implies that the CPC agrees with the contents of the pamphlet IMT quoted in his original post. He is trying to link the CPC to that sicko crap. That is utterly indefensible. Trudeau should be banned for such grossly ignorant tactics. -

He's a child and a third-rate troll at that. I hope Greg deletes this thread soon. Keeping Trudeau's post up this long could leave him open to liable charges... -
199 Questions For Your Liberal Candidate
shoop replied to rbacon's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Hell no. The Liberals won in 1993, in part, due to their promise to abolish the GST. They were lying and knew they could never get rid of it, too much revenue involved. Their bad was lying about it. The Conservatives did nothing wrong. The GST is a much better tax than the MST it replaced... ....if the Libs were "bad" for flip flopping on their promise to remove the GST, then what were the Cons for putting it in place in the first place??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> -

Anything I have posted has come from reliable journalist sources. CBC, CTV, The Star, The Globe and Mail or Canwest. Nothing inflammatory and offensive. While I may not agree with the tactical decision made to bring up this issue and child pornography, the language used was nowhwere near as ignorant and repulsive as that crap you linked to the CPC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> -

It blows my mind that you can actually think the Liberals have such a God-given right to govern that linking legitimate political parties to crap like this is anything but despicable. You are a sad, sad man. You have no decency and should learn the value of treating people with respect. Tell that to Randy White. Perhaps you've also conveniently forgotten Harper's attacks on Martin on this issue and child pornography in the last election, as well? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> -
What do you mean you can vote for them anywhere you are in the county? In an actual election you can only vote bloc in Québec because they only run candidates in Québec.
-
Interesting poll, a little odd though. As the BQ runs candidates only in Québec they couldn't mathematically win enough seats to form a minority government, never mind a majority.

Trudaeu, You are a childish, immature prick. To link this pamphlet to the CPC is absolutely ignorant. This drivel has no place in Canadian society and should be considered spreading hate. There is nothing in the CPC platform that supports crap like this. I support the CPC and am just as offended and sickened as you are by shit like this. For you to connect this guy to the CPC without any evidence is infantile. Homophobia is not part of the Party's platform and never will be. Your sad leap of faith between opposition to SMS and this drivel does not belong on this board. Grow the f*ck up! -
Really? In what context did you meet these people?

I don't know how much say Martin will have in the matter. It appears the only way Martin gets an election that is called after Xmas is to prorogue the house. That would be a dumb, dumb move. People would be outraged at that. People would prefer not to go to the polls over Xmas, but a week of between Xmas and New Years will make everyone forget about it. I still doubt Martin has any realistic shot at a majority. Poor poor Martin. Avenges his father in a textbook pyrrhic victory.
-
I can understand what the Liberals are trying to do, but I don't think it will work. Layton's proposal would have the final Gomery report land within a week or so of the election. The Liberals desperately don't want that date and would prefer to buy some time for a later date. By forcing the Opposition hands into a Xmas election they are hoping they can find some winning ground to fight the battle on. Oh look, the scary Conservatives forced a Xmas election. Aren't you offended, angry and scared? Sad, sad, sad. Shades of 1984. Deja vu all over again...

Great first post! Couldn't agree more...
-
This is a very interesting speech. I don't know if it is a good thing in how raw it is or it is too unprofessional. He makes a lot of good points, but a lot of his points are laughably sad. Great point! (Albeit poorly written.) But who is he kidding with this one? Did he mean in the world? ba ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. When was that ever true? I can see if he was comparing the Canadian public service to provincial services...
-
So much for voter anger at an early election. The Bloc, NDs and Conservatives would all take those results over the uncertainty of allowing Martin to dictate the timing. Interesting how the ND support is up signigificantly from the last election while everyone else is down. Gotta make you wonder if those results are for real or just people *parking * their votes until election day...

Guite took over a million for himself? You would think dude would dress a little better!
-
I think the reason is the inefficiency of the broadcaster. It really shouldn't add tons of expense to the organization. Since they are advertising their *10 years on the Web* on TV, maybe on radio too, they should focus on that as well.
-
Ahhh, I get it. If people are upset at the Liberal party because of it's responsibility for the theft of over $1.1 Million dollars they are idiots! Hmmm, time for the Liberals to re-learn the lesson that they are not *entitled* to run the country.
-
Right on! The Conservatives need to re-capture the tax cut agenda. Sadly, their best recourse at this point is to hammer the Liberals track record of corruptin. C'est la vie!
-
Ahhh, yes Eureka. Blame the Conservatives. After 12+ years in power fall back on that old chestnut. Say what you will, but on the fiscal front Paul Martin was a great conservative finance minister. However, the best way to increase productivity is to put more money back into the hands of business and let them figure out how to do it.
-
Boislcair's plan *was* rumoured to be to go to Harvard, get some business experience then come back when Landry stepped down. Nobody expected Landry to step down as early as he did. Thus Boisclair's timeline was moved up....
-
Hmmm, given that the CPC gained 5 points throughout the last election, while the Liberals only lost 1 this poll is good news for the Conservatives. If the CPC can hit 33 percent on election day and they Liberals are held to 35 then we are definitely looking at PM Harper. Even better is bye bye PM PM. Those Québec numbers look like the BQ will hit 60 seats, holding the Liberals down to 15. ReutersI think this overstates the BQ support in Quebec. No other provincial results are given. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Pal, Makes sense you served in the military. Your writing is mistake-ridden, boardering on unintelligible. You blindly believe the party line of the government without questioning it. The only people who think the Conservatives are like the Republicans are Liberal and ND partisans. There are huge differences between the Conservatives and the Republicans in the U.S. I could debate it further, but would you honestly listen with an open mind? You feel the rules of the board don't apply to you. Please avoid using childish names for parties. Crap, Ccrap along with Fliberals are banned here. Those are the rules, deal with that as you will. Hoping Harper gets "bitch slapped" - wow that one contributed to the level of the debate.
-
Of course they want to move the debate from Gomery and their other scandals. I find it interesting how the Liberals are fighting with the CPC for those voters with household incomes under $50k. You would think that would be ND territory. Oh wait it was, until the socialists forgot their raison d'etre was to fight for the working man.

Uhhh, I am allowed to pass judgment on their Web site by just looking at their Web site? Why avoid the question? Who is making the editorial choices on the CBC Web site and what are they thinking?
