  1. Gas prices are just one cost of higher oil. Petroleum derived products will also have increased cost, asphalt, plastics, etc. Should of paid your NATO bill and help us with Iran.
  2. Sort of, job position opening. Anyone who isn’t allied with the Chinese and can do what the Americans want… like Canadians.
  3. A toothless institution backed by American security guarantees? Sounds familiar doesn’t it?
  4. Robo if you’re insistent of dying on this hill, I’ll happily oblige.
  5. Precisely why Canada’s punishment is justified! Your orginal sin has been believing that Canada is sovereign.
  6. So the logical choice is next to a terrorist camp then? Makes sense robo…
  7. There’s plenty of cheap land in the desert, so why pick the cheap land next to a terrorist base hmmmm? You got land value sheet for the terrorist camp ? Yeah didn’t think so terror apologist.
  8. Wut? What does Miramar has to do with Iran?????????? You have receipt showing construction cost? Where’s your evidence of the US killing only the human shields hmm? Those school girls were harboring terrorist!
  9. You do realize the regime purposely built the girl school at their military base to use as human shields yes? Don’t be blinded by your TDS
  10. Or pay 10$ a gallon for gas? 30% of the world’s oil production transit that area. We’re all paying for this war one way or another, if the decision to glass the country is made we absolutely can do it. If our people are forced to choose between an energy induced recession or liberate the Iranian people from their murderous regime, I know what I would pick.
  11. The terminal are pumping station for tankers, the oil fields still lie deep within Iran. Occupying the island is not for oil, purely physical control of the strait, although with enough warships the same can be achieved.
  12. Yes I do think occupying parts of a few island(s) is a necessity to secure the strait.
  13. Marine expeditionary teams are now deployed to theater. Will there be a move to send boots on the ground? Possibly, a push into the coastal lowlands could help secure shipping lanes choke point especially combined with reconnaissance elements moving further out in country to disrupt drone and ballistic missile launchers. The question becomes for how long and is the cost worth it? North America is fairly insulated from oil price hikes but isn’t completely insulated as it does trade globally. This hasn’t been confirmed to be green lit but the implications are not ruled out. If we are to fight Iran I would prefer we rally the NATO deadbeat for a full ground invasion WWII style D-Day landing. You’re all paying for this conflict one way or another, best we get it done with the least amount of American lives lost. One other note; the US military has always maintained the capacity to fight 2 war simultaneously on two different oceans. So for the Chinese navy to make a move thinking they can take Taiwan while America is “distracted” is extremely unwise. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq8gj9n12g8o
  14. Soon to be Canada. Elbows up harder please, so I can buy out Canada for pennies on the dollar. Ofcourse, letting people wallow in their own poverty is how we prevent the forever war mmmkay.
  15. Not an undertaking America is interested in. There are better levers to punish Canada that stops short of drawing blood.
  16. Yes there is a cost to absorbing Canada, the question is whether or not having the continent under one flag is important enough for the cost. That conversation has not been had with the American public at large. However, there are no cultural differences that would bar such a union is my point.
  17. Put it this way, unless Washington says so, Canada won’t be able to sell its oil to anyone. A defacto state already, Canada exist in name only, as a mental illness for its inhabitants.
  18. 51st* Agreed So why would we, it mainly benefits the Chinese….
  19. Why Trump is now able to make a move in the Middle East? This infographic shows that North America is the largest producer of oil and no longer reliant on the Middle East for its energy needs.
  20. If you don’t even pay your own national security bill, what makes you want to pay your own local police hmmmm deadbeat?
