  1. No, thousands of them demonstrated in Canada for the separate state of Khalistan. Thousands of them may be radicals. Demonstrating for things like that in Canada is bringing their trouble to our country. The assassination of the Sikh leader of the temple is all part of the same conflict. Bringing violence to Canada. Same with the immigrants now demonstrating in malls, blocking roads, and harassing people in support of Hamas. Shooting bullets into Jewish schools. We don't need these trouble makers in Canada.
  2. How about the Air India bombing and around 300 lives lost? Would that count?
  3. The leader of the Sikh temple was assassinated recently in Surrey, BC. Yesterday, shots were fired into the home of the Hindu temple leader's son in Surrey, B.C. We can guess where this is coming from. Canada should not be bringing immigrants to Canada that bring their struggles and conflicts to Canada. Extremists are among them.
  4. Calling everything one disagrees with "fascism" is not rational. It is more divisive politics. GG awards should not be used for political purposes.
  5. The cartoon doesn't make much sense. Is it meant to be claiming truckers are fascists or is it meant to be claiming they are delivering fascism? But it certainly doesn't warrant an Order of Canada medal. The GG gives those medals out like popcorn out of a barrel of popcorn to everyone, but mostly liberals of course for being such good liberals.
  6. You don't help Canada as a nation by spreading false allegations against ancestors or early settlers. If you want to make claims about oppression and subjugation, you need to produce some solid facts and proof. These kinds of allegations can only cause resentment among native people and of course demand endless compensation. In order to determine what is true and what is false you need to seriously spend time studying historical writings or books written by people who have the facts or consulted earlier sources or records. Writings are the only source of information. Just listening to ignorant people who claim such and such happened without any evidence or historical information is meaningless and only spreads false information. I have read a little of more recent history on the B.C. coast. One book is called "The Skeena - River of Destiny" by Dr. R.G. Large. This book gives a fairly good idea of how the northwest part of B.C. in the Skeena region was settled. There was no oppression or subjection, whatever that is supposed to mean. Those words carry a very negative connotation. It could mean beatings, slave labour with the use of whips. Who knows what it means. Another small book called the "History of Alert Bay and District" also gives a fairly good idea how settlement occurred in that area off the northwest coast of Vancouver Island. A good historical book is called "Canada's Five Centuries" by W. Kaye Lamb from the Canadian Heritage Library. William Kaye Lamb was one of Canada's foremost historians and enjoyed a most distinguished and varied career as Dominion Archivist of the Public Archives of Canada (1918-1969) and as National Librarian of Canada (1958-1968). If anyone knew of subjugation and oppression, it certainly would have been one of Canada's foremost historians, but the book containing the 500 year history of Canada does not provide such a narrative. You would be better off and demonstrate some class and professionalism by studying some books on how settlement occurred in different places in Canada through books. Such books may be available in different community libraries, book stores, tourist shops, and museums. Dr. R.G. Large, who wrote the book "The Skeena - River of Destiny" was also the President of the Museum of Northern B.C. located in Prince Rupert. As one example of where to find information, if you were to contact that museum or visit it, they might be able to help you find some book (s) or sources of information on the history of the settlement of the north coast of B.C. and the Skeena River region of northwest B.C.
  7. Have you studied any real history of Canada. There was no oppression and subjugation. That is pure woke fiction.
  8. So we non-natives in Canada are all colonizers and oppressors?
  9. Just received the book this topic is about. Just starting it. I feel the carbon taxes imposed on me is definitely a Communist type oppression. Obviously Trudeau and the climate change alarmists don't respect individual beliefs and freedom. They are imposing their ideology and hammering us with increasing carbon taxes based on their beliefs. It is an assault on personal freedom. As far as they are concerned you are to suffer for the "greater good", which is pure Communist thinking. I have changed my thinking about the forced vaccinations too. I am starting to believe that was a form of Communist oppression of the masses. There was no serious warning about the danger of the vaccine. The fact is people did die as a result of taking the vaccine. Nobody has the right to impose that on the population by forms of coercion, such as making it mandatory in the federal government as a condition of employment. People in certain positions could have been given the option of wearing a mask instead of forcing them to be vaccinated. That would have provided some protection for the people around them. In the case of health care workers, that is a different issue because many health care workers are working in close proximity to vulnerable patients, whose rights must also be weighed. Older people, hospital patients, and immune-compromised patients require extraordinary protection. We are fed the ideology by the government through the media that government always knows what is best for us and government embraced the Marxist ideology that nobody has individual rights if they deem it is for the greater good. My younger son in his early fifties believes he is paralyzed by the Covid vaccine which was given to him a couple of years ago about one month before he suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed one leg and arm on one side of his body. Because he was under government care, he had no real choice and had to take the vaccine. I tend to believe the vaccine had something to do with it.
  10. PP knows its not politically correct to oppose immigration. He would lose a lot of votes. That's just being practical.
  11. It should be obvious in a PR system, Canada would be stuck with a Liberal-NDP coalition permanently.
  12. You are completely irrational. Has anybody ever told you or are you aware of a thinking problem? You make absolutely no sense. It is impossible to discuss anything rationally with you. You need help, seriously. There was a truce. Hamas broke the truce by killing 1,200 people and taking 200 hostage on Oct. 7th. That is the simple fact. Why do you not understand that? Please seek help.
  13. That figure came from terrorists. What makes you think it is true? You still did not answer the question. Was it ok for Hamas to kill 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7th and take 200 people hostage? Who attacked who first? Does Israel have a right to defend themselves against Hamas who are determined to destroy Israel and kill Israeli citizens? Does anyone have a right to fight back against terrorists who attack them?
  14. That figure came from Hamas and is not verified. It could be true or it could be far less. Why are you so willing to believe terrorists like Hamas? So you are ok with terrorists killing Israelis and then hiding behind the people?
  15. You didn't answer the question? Was it ok for Hamas to attack Israeli citizens and kill 1,200 people and take 200 hostage.
  16. What you are saying it is ok for Hamas to kill 1,200 Israeli citizens and take 200 hostage, but Israel is not supposed to fight back or destroy the terrorists? Seriously! You need to give your head a shake. You are living in a dream world, not reality. That is not true. There was a truce until October 7th. But Hamas broke that truce and attacked Israeli citizens. Are you ok with Hamas doing that?
  17. If you are a terrorist supporter, you should be kept behind a wall. How would you propose Israel defend itself against the terrorists?
  18. How should Israel defend itself against terrorist organizations like Hamas?
  19. Do you know the true story of the meaning of Christmas? This tract which can be read online at this link tells the meaning of Christmas. Chick.com: Greatest Story Ever Told
  20. That is true. You make a ton of good points. Hope you have a happy new year.
  21. Thanks. All the best to you in 2024. You are more reasonable to talk with than many. I will raise my cup of coffee to you now with wishes for a happy new year.
  22. Do you think anti-Semitism has a place in Canada or anti-Semitic protests and demonstrations are legal?
  23. Appears you don't understand the situation at all. How many Palestinians hate Israel? How many want Israel gone? How many of the Palestinians in the Gaza support Hamas? Nobody knows, but Hamas became the government of Gaza. How could that happen? Do you think Israel has the right to exist? How should they protect themselves from terrorists like Hamas?
  24. I checked the link on the bottom of his post. Just had a quick scan through it but did not see anything that would prove man-made climate change is a fact. Just saying CO2 is a greenhouse gas doesn't cut it. That proves nothing. 97% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural. Actually water vapour is also a greenhouse gas.
  25. There might be no right to be demonstrating support for a terrorist organization either. Hasn't Hamas been designated a terrorist organization by the Canadian government? If so, how can it be legal to be demonstrating support for them and what they did?
