God ordered that in that particular case for a reason. Maybe you could investigate and tell us why. quote Leviticus 24:17 - And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death. Exodus 20:13 - Thou shalt not kill. Matthew 5:21-26 - Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: (Read More...) Romans 12:19 - Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 1 John 3:12 - Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 1 John 3:15 - Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Matthew 26:52-54 - Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. (Read More...) Deuteronomy 5:17 - Thou shalt not kill.

That was a command given by the Lord in that particular case. God gave a general command against killing near the beginning in Genesis: "6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. " Genesis 9:6 KJV That command was restated in the Ten Commandments given to Moses: "13 Thou shalt not kill." Exodus 20:13 KJV God gave commands to Israel at times as in 1 Samuel 15:3. That is God's prerogative as He is God. There are exceptions such as when police are carrying out their duties and self defence.

Killing is contrary to the Bible. Our bodies belong to God and only he has the right to end our life. There is a day of judgment coming. Revelation says: "11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. " Revelation 20:22-15 KJV Is it really worth supporting something like MAID?

FPTP is extreme danger in uncertain and volatile times
blackbird replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The system is really stacked against the common people. Look at the liberal stacked, unelected Senate for a start. Then look at the liberal appointed Supreme Court. The truth is that Canada is part of the world system which is inherently evil. Politics is a sport that is kind of crooked in some ways. The inside bagmen have control of a lot of things in politics. It is all part of a corrupt world system because we are all sinners. Most of the world are non-believers and therefore everything man does is tainted with sin in some way. It is a mistake to put a lot of faith in politics or the political system. It won't do much good. All we are doing is simply trying to survive and prevent things from getting much worse. We need to try to keep evil men and dictators from getting a lot of political power and control over everyone's life. That is very difficult to do. There are other things in everyday life that take priority to politic activities. -

With all due respect, I think you have been duped into believing individuals can have significant influence by working your butt off in parties and elections. I have been there and done that and it makes absolutely no difference in the larger scheme of things. The system just doesn't work that way. It was largely a huge waste of time and emotional energy that accomplished nothing. In fact western Canada has very little to no influence on the outcome of federal elections. The federal liberals have it all controlled by an inner circle of elite political hacks centred in the triangle of Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. They have a large base of supporters in Quebec who will vote Liberal no matter what. They don't really care about government performance or what is going on. They vote for a favourite Quebec son who gets the job by inheritance and name. Also Quebec is paid off by the Liberals to make sure they vote liberal. A good example of that is the equalization payments and all the powers Quebec has to run like an independent country. -
I am not a supporter of the Roman Catholic church because if is a false church. It is a political-religious organization. The true Biblical church is built on age old truths in accordance with the King James Bible, that do not change with the times. Don't expect a real church to embrace liberalism or progressivism. That is not what a church is for.

I understand you are an obedient liberal who has complete trust in the system and the dictator. I respectfully disagree. I believe the people are conned by the liberal clique and the government supported media. We have seen a continual string of ethics violations and there is no accountability. They can pretty well do whatever they wish. Ask the opposition or even people like Jody Wilson Reabeault and other liberal MPs who have been shown the door. -
The government is deliberately expanding MAID. I see this as a form of genocide. Could it be that government sees it was a way to save vast amounts of money? This psychiatrist explains what is going on in Canada with medical assistance in dying (MAID). He says MAID is drifting to being out of control and may be already out of control. Over 13,000 people chose MAID in one year in Canada. He says this is far more than any other country which has it. The government is planning to open it up to people with mental illness in a couple of months even though there are many doubts and concerns about doing this. Professionals say it is impossible to say a person with mental illness of some type will become better or be reverse the illness and therefore they say MAID is not a rational option. There are also questions about MAID being offered to people who are having difficulty with in securing housing, food, etc. and as a result they want to opt out by taking MAID. The same situation exists for people with health challenges. The government is not providing proper care for people with mental issues, health challenges, poverty and so many are thinking their only option is MAID. FPTP is extreme danger in uncertain and volatile times

It is a kind dictatorship. The people have one vote but do not set the agenda. One vote followed by a four year dictatorship. He brought in all kinds of things most Canadians were never asked or told about, and spent Canada more deeply into debt than it has ever been. That the way the system works. Who was ever asked or had any say? Four billion dollars spend in Iraq since 2016 and our health care system is failing. -

I think you are giving it much more credit than it deserves. The Liberals were elected with the most votes, not by a majority of Canadians and they had Trudeau as their leader. He has brought in all kinds of laws which nobody voted for. He gave the impression that was going to be a great people's leader. Then after he was elected he became a dictator and brought in all kinds of things the people never voted for. -
There is a petition which asks that Canada withdraw from the U.N. and affiliated organizations. The reasons given are: "I assume you are asking about the petition e-4623 initiated by Doug Porter from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The petition calls for Canada’s withdrawal from the United Nations (UN) and all of its subsidiary organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) 1. The petition was sponsored by Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis and has garnered over 79,000 signatures from citizens and residents of Canada 1. The petition argues that Canada’s membership in the UN and its subsidiary organizations imposes negative consequences on the people of Canada, far outweighing any benefits 1. It also claims that Agenda 2030 and its operational Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), UN Judicial Review, International Health Regulations (IHR), One Health and similar programs are being rapidly implemented, absent the awareness and consent of the People or their elected representatives 1. The petition further states that SDGs have negative impacts on potentially every aspect of life, including religious and cultural values, familial relations, education, nutrition, child development, property rights, economic and agricultural productivity, transportation, travel, health, informed consent, privacy and physical autonomy 1. The petition is closed for signature since February 7, 2024 Petition e-4623 - Petitions (ourcommons.ca)

Ban Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations
blackbird replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
There is a simple reason for that. It is the fact that nobody is ever going to change the Palestinian's mind, which is the radical Islamist mind, heavily influenced and funded by Iran and its proxies. That mind is set on the elimination of the state of Israel and all Jews. There is no such thing as peace or compromise on that in their mind because Allah says so. If you can convince Allah to change their thinking, you might have a chance. -
I don't think Trudeau, Freeland or Liberals particularly care about journalistic rights or anyone's rights for that matter, particularly independent journalists. The government sees them as a threat. These politicians are a group of elite globalists who believe in the Marxist ideology which says that whatever they view as the common good takes precedence over individual rights. This would be particularly true if the journalists don't come under the authority of the Canadian Parliamentary Press gallery. Independent journalism is viewed as extremism, radical, and not entitled to normal rights of journalists such as freedom of the press or freedom of movement.

Ban Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations

You are being ridiculous. You equate Hamas with the trucker's protest? Protesting is not illegal. It has nothing to do with terrorism. Give it up. You are incapable of rational thought. -
Ban Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations
blackbird replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The Truckers Protest was a loose organization of thousands of people who heard there was going to be a protest against the little dictator and they were not convicted of a crime and most did nothing illegal. A few involved in the occupation were charged and being tried. But the overwhelming majority were not charged or convicted of anything. -

So you support the seizure of bank accounts of people who not been charged or convicted of anything? -

These were not convicted criminals. There were people who were not charged with anything and committed no crime who had their bank accounts frozen. The Trucker's Convoy was not an illegal organization. -

I never agreed with the occupation of Ottawa and still don't agree with it. I don't think they should have brought trucks into Ottawa or honked horns. No. Why are you evading the reasons for the protest? Do you support Trudeau seizing bank accounts of people who donated a few bucks? -

At the time I did not support the protests in 2022, but since that time, I have modified by view and do have some sympathy and agreement with their opposition to the little dictator. I don't think the vaccine mandates were justified in all circumstances and I don't agree with seizing people's bank accounts simply for making a donation to the Freedom Convoy. Do you agree with them seizing anybody's bank account? -

Never said that. I said it was illegal to do those things and I never supported it. I support the opposition to the Manchurian Communist dictator. -
Just because a very small percentage of the Truckers Convoy protesters did some illegal things does not nullify the grievance that hundreds of thousands of people had or have against Trudeau and his cronies. The Freedom Convoy was not a united group but made up of many different unconnected people who share a common concern about the loss of freedom and a dictatorial PM. The number of people involved in illegal acts which you mentioned would have been miniscule compared with the large number who were exercising their legal right to protest. I do not support illegal activities that you mentioned. However, that is not the issue here. The illegal activities do not nullify the truth pointed out in O Chinada. He says the Trudeau gang are not liberals, but are in fact American Communists. His book details why he believes that. I gave the link to the 24 page sample of the book.

Seems like you take the opposing view to everything. You are obviously against the west. I am beginning to wonder if you are a Russian or Chinese internet plant or working for China or Russia trying to cause division in the west in some small way. My guess is that is how they would operate. We don't have to be a genius to figure this out.

According to the news, some police brought Tim Horton's coffee to the protesters on the overpass in Toronto where they are protesting in a Jewish neighbourhood. This was criticized by some politicians apparently. But politicians have generally not united to oppose these protesters who are intimidating people and spreading hate against the Jews.

Queenmandy85 should read it. He is just an ordinary guy who strongly believes Trudeau is a Communist dictator. He gives a lot of evidence which he says backs up the claim. Here is great news. Go to this website and there is a 24 page preview of the book. Tons of information in there. Chinada, an open book... - inkletter

The Real Reason Justin Trudeau Won't Be Stepping Down
blackbird replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I doubt Trudeau's international meetings are "work". He has aids and secretaries that do the actual work. All he does is rub elbows with Presidents and PMs and chit chat a bit. It's an easy life. A little hob nobbing for a few minutes with big wigs and then relaxation and socializing for the rest of the day and evening. Hardly called work.
