The federal government, Trudeau specifically, killed the Northern Gateway Pipeline project and the Energy East Pipeline project after he was elected in 2015. Since there was only one pipeline to the west coast from Alberta, the Trans Mountain Pipeline, already in existence for over 50 years and it needed expansion, the government had no choice but to take if over to get it built. It is the only pipeline there is to ship Alberta oil to the west coast. So they had no choice. But aside from that the federal government is opposed to the energy industry and is working on transitioning away from fossil fuels, which is unrealistic because they will be with us for the foreseeable future. Trudeau and company live in an alternate reality and are imposing their ideology on the rest of Canada at our expense.

People go to the confessional and are required to confess all their personal sins to the priest. This gives the priest a certain power over every person under them. This is not a part of the Protestant churches belief system. In fact there are no priests in Protestant churches. Ministers are permitted to marry and have families which means they are in a completely different situation.

The federal government just announced they are giving 13 billion dollars to the multinational corporation, Volkswagon, over ten years, to subsidize the building of an EV battery plant in Ontario. The Canadian taxpayer's federation and the opposition party are opposed to this and say according to their calculations this will cost taxpayers about 1.6 million dollars per job to create 8,000 jobs. Here is a classic example of how liberals and left are Socialists and use taxpayer's money to promote their Socialist ideology. Believe it or not, one of the purposes of the Jesuit order was to reverse the Reformation and return all nations to the absolute authority of Rome or the Papacy. We have always had the odd institution with cult or aberrant behavior. Of course I would not agree with beating anybody with paddles. If you want to pick isolated cases of bad behavior, I am sure we can look through history and find plenty. We have been hearing plenty about rampant sexual abuse in Hockey Canada for example and millions of dollars in settlements for it. Did you ever hear of anyone going to jail for that? We hear of random attacks against innocent citizens by knife wielding mental cases every day and governments that have done nothing about it and courts that release offenders immediately after they are arrested. Immoral behavior is common at all levels of government as well. There is no moral foundation except for a small number of people.
