You won't read a reply that might take one or two minutes, but you spend lots of your time on the forum. You only want to speak one way and not listen to what others have to say if they might contradict what you think. That shows how badly deceived you are. It is a strong grip that Satan has on your mind. He keeps saying to you "don't read it", "don't read it".. blah blah. You listen like a dumb puppet. It's sad really because what others say to you about God and his word is the only hope you have to avoid going to hell for eternity. That is why God gave man his revelation:... to give man redemption and save him for eternity. You turn your back on that, you are condemning yourself. I see you have believed another lie that claimed that King James was a homosexual. There have been books written debunking that one. King James did not write the King James Bible either. He merely authorized the producing of it. It was produced by 47 of the world's best scholars and is based on the Received Text, that is, Disiderius Erasmus' earlier Greek New Testament and the Greek manuscripts that were available at the time. So King James did not translate it or have anything to do with how it was produced. it had a major impact on the world in the last 400 years since it was produced. The greatest and widest selling Bible or book in history.

Sorry to say, but you have it totally backwards according to what the Bible says and what some of the greatest theologians have said in history. Some people who have rejected divine revelation, rejected God, were not the most thoughtful, intelligent and reasonable human beings. Some of them were the complete opposite, like the Communist leaders Chairman Mao, Stalin, and others. I am not saying you fit that category of people. Just that your claim about thoughtful, intelligent, and reasonable does not apply to everyone who rejects divine revelation. Rejecting divine revelation could have serious consequences as it may leave you more open to accepting Satanic beliefs or ideologies without you even recognizing it. Today we have all kinds of Satan worshipers in the world, and many would claim they do not even believe in Satan. But they have fallen under his control. Today we have many criminals, terrorists, and mentally ill people on the loose committing all kinds of criminal acts. There people obviously are not restrained by divine revelation either. Again your idea falls flat for these people as they are not thoughtful, intelligent, or reasonable. Whether Mao, Stalin, or Hitler believed in God or not is a mute question. They seem to have had absolutely no fear of God or divine judgment. Their conscience permitted them to murder millions of people in the name of their Communist ideology. Hitler seemed to also have no fear of the God of the Bible as he also was able to murder millions of Jews and other people. According to the Bible, men are naturally endued with the knowledge of God. According to Romans 1:20 the Creator has given to all some knowledge of His existence through the things He has made. Even many of these people ignore their conscience and feel free to commit all kinds of criminal acts, genocide, and brutality in the world. These are not believers in divine revelation or they totally reject it. So it seems a little rash, and foolish to be proud of rejecting divine revelation and thinking somehow that makes you more thoughtful, intelligent, and reasonable. I would suggest the opposite might be true to varying degrees depending on the individual and circumstances. There are obviously people who are quite civilized and rational who are atheists, but being a rejecter of God and his revelation leaves one more open to the darker paths that one could be tempted to follow. The end of such people is not a good one. I don't quite understand your sentence about absurd belief (especially as an Anglican)... It is not clear. Are you saying an Anglican would consider divine revelation an absurd belief? Or would an Anglican consider my interpretation of divine revelation as absurd? I thought most Anglicans believe what the Bible says about the necessity of faith in Jesus to go to heaven. Am I wrong?

So Ottawa is accepting refugee applications from Gaza.
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I agree we should not be bringing in massive numbers anymore because of the housing crisis. But Canada has a reputation for bringing in terrorists and extremists. There was a report on the news recently that there are 700 people here who are linked to Iran's IRGC and the government does nothing. -
That means Hamas and their supporters. It will be impossible to tell who is a terrorist or terrorist supporters and who is not. How many extremists will Canada be taking in now? Canada has a history of taking in extremists. That is a proven fact. Just how many Nazis were brought into Canada after the war? The government is incapable to distinguishing between peaceful useful people and extremists. This is proven. In the news today: Ottawa to accept applications from refugees seeking to leave Gaza (msn.com)

Another false allegation. 1. I am not "angry". 2. I don't tell people they are going to hell for disagreeing with me. Wrong on both points which you invent simply to make false allegations. One only goes to hell for rejecting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. "36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. " John 3:36 KJV

You still can't justify why you mock me for quoting the Bible. As hard as you try, you can't escape the truth. Even said it above again when you said "the Bible isn't a substitute for independent intelligent thought" again proving your dislike of the Bible and anyone who believes it. You have no idea how to judge a Christian.

Your comments don't show you have done much study. What exactly is your view of Islam? If you want to know more about Islam all you have to do is look at the website religion of peace. Islam: The Politically Incorrect Truth (thereligionofpeace.com) Study that and you may learn the truth. Oh, are you Muslim by chance?

Your relatives might have known somewhat more than you, although it is hard to say without knowing exactly what they believe. There are lots of apostate churches around. You whine about me using the Bible in past posts and now try to hide behind your religious relatives. Your own words were " That's why I don't wave Bible quotes at people as a substitute for knowledge and reasoning on the topics at hand." Could get much more anti-Bible than that.

This topic is also supported by a newspaper article I just came across. "Who uttered the scariest, most threatening words, anywhere in the world, in all of 2023? Not Putin, not Kim Jong Un of North Korea, or some other unscrupulous dictator — it was Canada’s own Justin Trudeau." LEDREW: Trudeau wants us to allow him to radically change Canada (msn.com)

Actually, your comments prove what I am saying is true. The Jewish scribes and pharisees treated Jesus in a bad way because they thought he was a fake or as you put it a "bad Christian". It just adds more evidence I must be on the right track although I know I am not perfect and fall short in many ways. You have the false notion that a good Christian should only say kind things that agree with your false ideas. You are dead wrong.

Your answer shows you don't really know what you're talking about. The answer is yes, there are some religions that are poison. If you haven't notice that in your many years in this world, you have had some kind of liberal blinders on. I don't need to point the facts out to you. You should realize that yourself. I think you know that is a fact but are just in denial; you are preaching the liberal line. I never said I don't do some thinking before I post something. You now changed your tune. You were talking about an analysis which sounds like I need to go to university and obtain a degree before I comment on something. You are being deceptive on here.

You sure like to demean yourself by fighting against our Creator and Almighty God. You probably think you are not, but the truth is when you attack someone for believing in the Bible, you are really showing your ignorance of God and the meaning and reality of creation and eternity. You must think you are some kind of accident of chemicals and will just go into oblivion when you die. Far from it. After death is the judgment. "7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. " Proverbs 1:7 KJV So the conclusion is, you need to go and buy yourself a King James Bible (1611) and begin studying it. You need to find a way of digging yourself out of the quicksand in which you are sinking.

Canada would not allow immigrants in here from Europe or the U.S. if the Immigration department knew they were members of what Liberals thought were right wing nationalists or patriots of some kind so why does Canada bring immigrants in who belong to a religion with extremist ideologies? Canada brings them in by the hundreds of thousands.
-
I don't need to "do an analysis" to make a comment or express and opinion on here. I doubt you do much study or analysis before making a comment. If you want to avoid trouble in the future, you need to widen your thinking and consider what certain religions believe in their extreme ideologies and what having them in large numbers can lead to. This is very basic. Just look at their history and what they are doing in other parts of the world and you will realize what you may be dealing with. The idea that Liberals and left have that just bringing anybody into Canada and forcing them to make a declaration that they will be loyal to the Queen and obey the laws, etc. just won't cut it. That is not how the real world works. Or telling them that Canada is a "multicultural" country and we have certain principles means nothing to these people. They simply follow their own religion and that can have extremist elements in it that can lead to serious problems as we see now with the struggle for Khalistan with the Indian government and the results of that, all happening in Canada. Why should Canadians have to put up with that here? Because Trudeau loves to bring in people he knows will be a solid voter base. That's why it is happening and probably why you like it too. However, it may be too late now as large numbers of these people are already here. They are here physically but mentally many still live where they came from. Why do you think we have the huge demonstrations recently for Hamas and Palestinians?

Never heard the term carbon cycle on the news and never read about it. Sounds like something you think has some major importance. Perhaps you mean the cycle of plants using carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen into the air. Animals do the opposite. They use oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Is that the cycle you mean? It has no relevance to the phony claim that man is causing climate change.
-
It is impossible to screen individuals and determine whether they will be trouble-makers or have an extremist slant. The proof of that is: 1. The huge demonstrations these people start when they are established here. 2. Terrorist incidents which have occurred in Europe in places where large numbers of them have been allowed in. The government was not able to screen them and let in lots of extremists. That has happened in Canada too. Also, how they will behave cannot be predicted but the fact they belong to certain religions is an indication of possible trouble. That is the only clue.

No, thousands of them demonstrated in Canada for the separate state of Khalistan. Thousands of them may be radicals. Demonstrating for things like that in Canada is bringing their trouble to our country. The assassination of the Sikh leader of the temple is all part of the same conflict. Bringing violence to Canada. Same with the immigrants now demonstrating in malls, blocking roads, and harassing people in support of Hamas. Shooting bullets into Jewish schools. We don't need these trouble makers in Canada.
