    I'm sorry to hear that - it breaks my heart, actually. I've been honoured to work with 3 families as their death doula since covid and the hardest part for me has been the times when I can't see or meet them in person, only over Zoom. It's just not the same. I can't imagine how difficult that is for you, and for your wife.

    Imagine how united we could all be if our government stopped the fear-mongering and the blaming of those who either cannot or choose not to vaccinate. Imagine if we got daily briefings like this: "Today, there was 1000 cases of covid, but 992 of them are okay. Thank you to our citizens who chose to get vaccinated. Thank you for doing your part. Those that chose not to, thank you for continuing to be safe by staying home when you feel ill, washing your hands regularly, and taking the preventative vitamins and other things we've said to take from the beginning of this. Thank you everyone for doing what you can to protect our most vulnerable - our elderly ones. We're doing well in spite of this pandemic. We know it's been hard on everyone. Thanks, everyone, for pulling together and looking out for each other and taking care of each other." I know I'd rather hear that, than Dr. Patricia Daly telling everyone that even though there's not much transmission at restaurants, movies and gyms everyone has to stay home and now those that are not vaccinated - we will punish them by not allowing them at venues where we know there's already little likelihood of transmission and we'll blame them for the case numbers even though we know it's being spread by the vaccinated, too and also our government has totally fucked up by cutting back on healthcare to the point that our entire country cannot handle 715 people in the ICU over a period of 18 months.

    In the 1960's, the KGB conducted some fascinating psychological experiments and they learned this: The y learned that if you bombard human subjects with fear messages nonstop, in 2 months or less most of the subjects are completely brainwashed to believe the false message. To the point that no amount of clear information they are shown to the contrary can change their mind. I think too many people want so badly for this virus to be something it's not - an actual threat that validates the way they've behaved and the trauma they've put themselves, their children and others through. Most people would rather continue living the lie, than admit they were lied to.

    Canada. Hospitalizations with covid have totaled 2273, since the start. 715 in the ICU, since the start. 715 people overloaded our system. Do you think it may mean that our system sucks if it can't handle 715 people over 18 months?

    How many young people having life-altering adverse reactions, including death, in order to "save" 90 year olds, would be "too much" for you? I am middle aged. I don't now and I also can't see myself as a 90 year old woman, insisting that no matter how many young people die, no matter how many get permanent heart conditions, no matter how many violently shake for god only knows how long, no matter how many people lose their jobs, no matter how it affects the economy, no matter how much other people suffer - it's totally worth it to me to have those extra few days of life. It's strange to me that that is YOUR belief - no matter the cost to others - and that you have the nerve to call others "selfish". I don't believe most elderly people think like you do. I dont' believe most elderly people expect younger generations to sacrifice all this for them.

    Again, not me who said it. Take it up with Dr. Patricia Daly. Every death matters. I became a death doula because I believe so strongly that every death matters. Do I think that other people should risk their lives and/or die to extend a dying person's life? No, I don't. Why do you believe that teenage boys should risk myocarditis and not be able to live full, active lives for the rest of their lives, so that a 97 year old can live a few days longer? No one has ever said that random people with no comorbidities have not died of covid. Random people die of the flu every year. No one knows why. Viruses suck and sometimes life isn't fair. This is why I've spent a lifetime looking after my immune system. It's been mostly deadly to people who are very elderly and those already terminally ill. How am I wrong about that? Are you unfamiliar with the stats? Not everyone has the same risk here. Which is why I believe in people having the choice of which medical procedures or experiments they want to be a part of.

    Why are you asking me? Ask Dr. Daly. If I had to speculate, it's because the virus, like any flu, is MOSTLY deadly to the very elderly and the already terminally ill. People who do not generally go to restaurants and gyms.

    Not agreeing with workers being abused. But I also don't agree with the citizens of this country being abused. It's about control. It's no wonder people are getting frustrated. Congratulations on your slightly longer leash. Enjoy using it to bite and snap at your fellow citizens, while you can.

    If you got your head out of MSM's arse, you'd know that there is a lot of controversy about how deaths are recorded. It should concern you, but I doubt it will. Because you love the Henny Penny drama of it all and advocate strongly to see the unvaxxed treated as second class citizens.     They are calling them "Mandatory Quarantine Camps." Which makes me wonder what the concentration camps were marketed as to the German public? I doubt the townspeople were told what was really going to be happening there when the "facilities were being built. Dialamah will be one of those old German women who complained to the authorities that there are "ashes" getting all over her nice clean clothes on the clothesline......can't they do something about that? I'm astonished that all this is rolling along, in just a year and half. But I guess it didn't take long in 1938, either.

    Excuse me? You're the one advocating unvaxxed people be segregated from society - be careful what you wish for. Your voice is added to the ones calling for camps and killings of the unvaxxed. You're the one with zero common sense. Vaxxed people are spreading covid and dying of it, but you're okay with vaxxed people being part of society. Quickly googling something to support your views is not the same as being receptive to what is changing day by day. Don't act like quickly googling something to support your panic porn views is in any way the same as someone making informed decisions about their health.

    It's become increasingly obvious that unless the scientist or factoid agrees with your pre-conceived, MSM and Global News panic and fear-mongering, no common sense views, it really doesn't matter. You will find any reason to disagree - even blaming the person's religion. It will all come out eventually. And I really really believe that you and your panic fueled, terror ridden cohorts who want unvaxxed people sent to camps....are going to come out on the wrong side of history on this one.

    You are conflating deaths "with covid" and deaths "from covid." It's a common mistake, given your reliance on Global News and MSM for your information. There are many in the healthcare community are raising the same objection. Your "common sense", while common is making less and less sense to thinking people and many in the health and sciences professions.

    I think when the dust settles on all of this, there's going to be a hell of a lot of lawsuits. The basic human right to bodily autonomy is being trampled on. No one has to justify their refusal to take an experimental vax. The government and Big Pharma have to justify their right to force you. And when the dust settles, and governments are forced to come clean with why all this happened, I think we're all going to see that there was no reason for the crippling restrictions, the firings, or much of anything really. Annual death rates have remained unchanged for the last 2 years in pretty much every country and quite a few of them are opening up because they are seeing it's just a bad flu. So what was the need for all this?
