  1. You ask for a quote, but don't provide one yourself? What exactly however is different from what you claim he said and I do? We both seem to claim he cannot say what brought down the tower. Is it not dishonesty to continue to make the despicable claim that it was a controlled demolition?
  2. There is an article in todays New York Times about the Roxham road crossing, from the perspective of those living on the Champlain, NY side.
  3. My good friend Dr. Charles A. Forbin told me so.
  4. What I dislike about this time of year is it is either rain or cold. Can't I just have a sunny and warm day?

  5. Are we talking about countries, or people. Please do try and keep your points clear.
  6. Halsey was directly asked about controlled demolition stated categorically that he cannot make that claim. You are again confusing science with truther conspiracy theories.
  7. No problem, lets replace the accounting/economic model, I have been advocating that forever.
  8. Money is nothing but standardized accounting within the community, it holds zero intrinsic value. Nothing was taken from you because you had nothing to begin with.
  9. The one rathole this thread has yet to descend into... until now.
  10. In other news, city workers were busy this morning sweeping up the smashed remains of several Samsung flat screen televisions at the base of Trump tower.
  11. Nobody wants Wynne, and nobody wanted her last election. Many of us, including me, voted for alternatives. The problem is however there is not really a credible alternative. Horwath was looking good in the previous election, but last round she messed up big time.
  12. Canada, along with almost every other nation in the world are signatories to the convention and/or protocol relating to the status of refugees. I suppose what you are saying is we should look at extending our safe third party agreement with the US, and yes that is something we should be exploring. There are however two parties to that agreement.
  13. Are you telling me you haven't figured out how to burn iron in your kitchen with a wooden match yet? Can someone please give this poor fellow a clue.
  14. There are about 50,000 who worked in the towers, and that was the financial capital of the world. Are you suggesting that only 8% are Jews?
  15. I am interested in science, and so far Hulsey appears to be a scientist. He may be getting paid by the truthers, so he does give them some leeway but he hasn't really stepped over the line like others. He has not supported any crackpot controlled demolition theories, just disagreed with the details of the NIST conclusion. NIST stated the primary cause of building 7 failure was fire related, and Hulsey stated he doesn't see how fire alone could have caused the collapse. While not completely incompatible conclusions, certainly there is a much different emphasis.
  16. ...stated that he will be ready to publish the findings of his grad student and post-doc sometime in the spring of 2017. We await his published results. To date the only thing he has really said is that he does not believe that fire alone was sufficient to bring down building 7. His premise is based on his students running a more complex finite analysis than was done by NIST about a decade earlier. Until he publishes results, it would be pure speculation to comment on his work or his findings. Something I am interested in seeing in his results is what he thinks about the bulge in the southwest corner of 7 World Trade Center between the 10th and 13th floors that firefighters noticed over 3 hours before it collapsed. That bulge, and creaking sounds they heard are the reasons they stopped rescue operations and left the area and why they didn't have any casualties from the collapse.
  17. Wrong thread, shame is being discussed in the "Shame: Trump = Shameless" thread.
  18. I believe Andy went to the slammer for illegally crossing an international border.
  19. I think when Trump's new Housing and Urban Development (HUD) secretary compares slaves to immigrants we don't have to worry about Trump draining the swamp - we have to worry what he is filling it with. Carson said that the Africans captured, sold and transported to America against their will had the same hopes and dreams as early immigrants. “That's what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less, but they, too, had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”
  20. I said in the literature, which means published scientific papers for anyone with a background in science. I did not ask for a google search of truther websites. Yes, I found your "About 81 results", and most of them are from truther web pages or the debunker of debunker sites. Also note that I am asking for the term thermitic reaction, not just thermitic. It is easier to accept terms like thermitic material, but when you are talking about reactions you should not create a new term for an well understood reaction using different materials. I also see that Harrit and Farrer have an earlier paper with that term (about 2006 time frame). I knew Farrer was an earlier collaborator with Jones, but it seems that Harrit is also an earlier truther than I was aware. Most important however is that your 3 points supporting the truther conspiracy theory are debunked, and this is just a sideshow.
  21. So give me a reference in the literature that predates the Harrit paper. Does my gasolinic reaction not follow those same rules of English grammer/word formation?
  22. I suggest you go back and do your research again. I am talking about the term thermitic* reaction which is what I have used consistently. Have you found earlier references in the literature? I suppose you car has a gasolinic reaction, not combustion. Do you want to discuss watching youtube videos? That seems to be your forte. I thought I would look at the other authors on the paper in a bit more detail (research as you say). I see that only one other is from a university. At least this time Jeffrey Farrer didn't get listed as a professor, as he did in an earlier Jones paper. He is(was) a student lab manager at BYU, no idea where he is now as he is no longer listed on BYUs Physics and Astronomy staff page. The rest of the authors are from industry, or the 911 truthers group. *again the qualifier of apologizing if I didn't make the right extra worldly incantations.
  23. Yes, again my spell corrector doesn't accept the made up word thermitic* and unless I go back and force it to accept this abomination. I am referring specifically to: Page 21: That thermitic* reactions from the red/gray chips have indeed occurred in the DSC... Page 22: Significant elemental iron is now present as expected from the thermitic* reduction-oxidation reaction of aluminum and iron oxide. Again the spell corrector does not accept this made up term unless I genuflect and say three hail Mary's followed by a blood offering. Yes, again the spell corrector changed the term but the point is that there are 2 uses of of the made up term you are referencing, not 27. Could you point out any earlier references to the term thermitic* reaction in the literature? Scientists don't talk about the Mentos reaction, they talk about nucleation (a physical, not chemical reaction). *my apologies if I have failed to make all the appropriate sacrifices to the Gods to get the messed up spelling to work. So it is gall to point out a publishing house that claims to have a rigorous peer review system accepted a complete nonsense paper if the author paid the appropriate fees?
  24. Yes, there are many uses of the term thematic. Most of those 27 you quote are copies of the paper title on each page. He does however use the term themitic reaction twice, so I guess he gets first reference in creating this term. I suspect the highly respected Bentham Open needs to work on its peer review process, we wouldn't want them to be confused with a vanity press.
  25. Evidence? A video from one side is not evidence of symmetry. If you look at the video however you will see the penthouse collapsing first, that is a good indication of non-symmetry.
