  1. There are 17 states with a greater than 1% chance of tipping the election, and Hilary leads in all but 2 of those states. The two that Trump leads in (Arizona and Georgia) he has lost a significant part of that lead since the debate. Florida Pennsylvania North Carolina Michigan Ohio Colorado Minnesota Virginia Wisconsin Arizona Nevada New Hampshire Iowa New Jersey Georgia Washington New Mexico
  2. Absolutely, the entire footprint needs to be discussed. Naming a list of scary sounding chemicals however is pointless propaganda.
  3. Trump comes out and admits he is not really serious about being President, this is all just a game to him for entertainment. Donald Kardashian knows he is unfit to be President, just a reality TV star.
  4. Why is up with Trump/Pence, are they in disagreement or is Trump too little to admit he was wrong: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/07/us/politics/mike-pence-donald-trump-muslim-ban.html

    1. Cum Laude

      Cum Laude

Just like the faux controversy around Trump's comments on PTSD.

Pence is doing pretty good on the stump, the only way for the media to combat this is to try to distance Pence from Trump.

  5. Lack of common sense and logic in that emotional, foolish statement.
  6. A lot has been accomplished over the past several years with better scheduling and sharing of resources, but yes there are still major issues to tackle. It is important to note that 'non-urgent' is very misleading. There are four priority levels for MRI scheduling, and the 132 days is the lowest of those priorities. The biggest problem is the Ottawa hospital that brings the average way up, it is over twice as long as the next one on the list. Perhaps there needs to be another machine, and technicians at that hospital. Provincially we still have a long way to go as well, the provincial average is 102 days, and only one location in the province is below the 28 day goal. If you are willing to travel, then I suggest going to the following locations: Quinte Healthcare Corporation - 25 days Pembroke Regional Hospital Inc. - 33 days Ross Memorial Hospital - 33 days Sault Area Hospital - 33 days Northumberland Hills Hospital - 34 days University of Ottawa Heart Institute - 35 days Bluewater Health -36 days Markham Stouffville Hospital - 37 days St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton - 38 days Stratford General Hospital - 41 days
  7. Important to note that 'batteries' really means storage. Lots of technologies that can be used for storage traditional batteries (lead/acid, or any of the newer chemistries), pumped hydro, hydrogen, etc.
  8. So you think the challenges facing fusion are lower than the challenges facing battery storage? I believe both avenues need to be pursued, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Solar also has the advantage of operating during the heavy industrial demand times. Yes we have to deal with overcast days, but it is still possible to get a high percentage of the power even under cloud cover and that is continually improving. No single solution will address all our power needs, but solar has the possibility of addressing about 50% without batteries and more with.
  9. Fair enough, you are saying that Islam has rules that we don't tolerate so Islam should be banned. Ok, then Christians have rules, rules that Jesus did not change, that are equally vile. Lets ban Christian religion as well. Until the Pope come out and declares the Old Testament a piece of vile literature that the Church denounces then Catholics are part of a vile group and should not be tolerated. If you don't accept the tenant of freedom of religion, then apply it equally. When you put equal attention to the vile hatred in the Bible, I will listen. Each and every time you denounce Muslims, make sure you also denounce Catholics, Anglicans, Jews, and every other religion that has such vile scriptures.
  10. In it's 159 year history, the Atlantic has only made two recommendations for President. Now comes a third. They stated: we are mainly concerned with the Republican Party’s nominee, Donald J. Trump, who might be the most ostentatiously unqualified major-party candidate in the 227-year history of the American presidency.
  11. Every time this topic hits the home page I feel parched.
  12. The kid will graduate from university before the case ever hits the courts.
  13. Who is this 'they'? Men do all those thing, do you mean all men? Are you a man? Then I automatically accuse you of beheadings, Sharia law, and genital mutilations, etc. You are guilty - no discussion needed.
  14. Pipelines to tidewater to expand the market - Zero for Harper.
  15. Trump is a Rob Ford wannabe, but being born in the Philippines and adopted by a rich American he is not even capable of living up to the Ford legacy.
  16. Only a douchebag would say those things. That person obviously knew he/she was a douchebag, so he/she sulked around in the dark like the little chickenshit he/she is in order to spread their offensive propaganda. No freedom of speech was infringed. If you want to be a douchebag, then shout your obscenities from the mountain top, and be ostracized from society like you should be.
  17. Again you are making up things. I don't support Islam, I never have. I think all religions are terrible, I have stated that many, many times before. I do however accept freedom of religion.
  18. I voted for Harris, twice. I am responsible for the disaster that twit caused. I have admitted it many times.
  19. Did I say that? No. Hudak proved himself useless during the election campaign.
  20. I have said before, the jury is still out on Brown. He has certainly had issues in his past, and made several stumbles as leader, but he is lightyears ahead of Hudak. He appears to be able to learn from some of his mistakes. He wouldn't be my choice, but as I am not a party member it was not up to me. We will see how he does in an election. Remember Hudak failed miserably in an election, and the party kept him for another.
  21. Just out of curiosity (I'm not disagreeing with your point), have you ever lived in Canada? b.t.w. I have lived in the United States, and yes legally.
  22. It seems a subset of the population self identify as "right wing", therefore anyone who they disagree with must be "left wing". Substitute Republican/Democrat, Conservative/Liberal, whatever/Progressive as they please.
