Palin’s book number one on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble bestseller list A publishing industry source told POLITICO that they "cannot remember a non-fiction book taking off like this in the pre-order market. It became number one only a couple of hours after nothing more than a date announcement. It is truly unprecedented." Politico So how's that irrelevant thing working out for you guys? BWAAAHAAAAAAAHHHA Worst prediction in the history of predictions.

Obama considers new Afghanistan strategy
Shady replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
No they're not going to allow the Taliban back in political power. -
Once again I'll remind everybody that the Liberals supported Harper for a much longer period of time than the NDP. You all seem to have selective amnesia, as well as selective outrage.
-
In an earlier post, you made the excuse for the Liberal snap election of "might as well, Harper was going to call for one otherwise." Now you admit that he wouldn't have called for an election because as you state, correctly, he doesn't think there should be one at this time. You're either a compulsive liar, or very confused.

The Democrats Are In HUGE Trouble

How is flat-lining a rebound? So, because his numbers haven't totally tanked yet, you think he's gaining support? Ooookkkaaayyyy. -
The Democrats Are In HUGE Trouble
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
No, Obama's numbers are not rebounding. LOL, nice try though. You sound a lot like Saddam's spokesman, Baghdad Bob, back in 2002. "No, the American troops are nowhere near Baghdad. And we have defeated them in every battle!" -
Wrong, it gained them financially. That had to support Harper previously, because they didn't have the money for another election. And now the Liberals are calling for a snap election.

The Democrats Are In HUGE Trouble
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
More Independents Lean GOP; Party Gap Smallest Since '05 Since Barack Obama took office as president in January, the Democratic advantage in leaned party identification has shrunk each quarter, from 13 points in the first quarter (52% to 39%) to 9 points in the second quarter (49% to 40%) and 6 points in the most recent quarter (48% to 42%). Gallup Hope n change! -
School Kids Taught To Praise Obama
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Your premise is incorrect. The children were singing of Bush, Congress, and the American people. Why is it that you cannot tell the truth? And what's disturbing about the Obama videos, is that he's held up as a Messianic figure, replacing the name of Jesus Christ in the lyrics of some songs. Apples and oranges. -
It's just kind of funny hearing the Liberal supporters in this forum complaining about the NDP supporting Harper, when the Liberals are guilty of the same thing, but for a much longer time.
-
Um, didn't the Liberals prop up Harper for like a year?

School Kids Taught To Praise Obama
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I answered it directly. You're being obtuse. What do you lefties think of the G-20 protestors? Do they represent you well? -
I'll ask eyeball once again... Is it our fault that homosexuals are stoned to death? Is it our fault that women are treated like second class citizens, beaten for wearing pants? Is it our fault that females are forbidden from obtaining an education or holding important jobs in soceity? Is it our fault that school girls have acid thrown in their faces for the outrageous act of walking to school? Is it our fault that the boys in these countries are educated soley through the madrases? And is it our fault that these extremists want to kill the infidels, non believers, no matter what religion a person happens to be? Go take your moral equivalence garbage somewhere else, it doesn't fly here sport.

School Kids Taught To Praise Obama
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It's apples and oranges. Do you know how many different videos of different schools from around the country have been singing the praises of Obama? Dozens. And he's only been in office for 8 months. And what are they praising him for? Just being Obama, The One, The Messiah, The most merciful Barack Obama, peace be upon him. Nothing more. The school kinds you refer to, sang about Bush, Congress, FEMA, and every American in the country who helped during the disaster. So trying to equate the two instances is completely intellectually dishonest. -
What complete and utter nonsense. It's our fault that homosexuals are stoned to death? It's our fault women are beaten for wearing pants? It's our fault that females are forbidden from obtaining an education? And it's our fault that Islamic extremists' goal is to "kill the infidels (non-believers)"? I'm not sure if you're aware, but Muslim countries have been ruled by dictators before the United States was even a country. And Muslim countries were regressing long before "the west" as we know it even existed. Your post is void of any logic, reason, and facts.

School Kids Taught To Praise Obama
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Gee, I thought this thread might be about the G-20 protestors. You know, the 'give peace a chance', 'violence isn't the answer' crowd, except when it comes to their protests. In which they seem to destroy as much private property as possible. Yeah, that loud and hypocritical minority of leftists. -
And/or good smart business management, and no government intrusion into the mortgage market, forcing banks to lend to unqualified people under the guise of 'affordable housing.'
-
Nope. These are situations that have been under investigation for quite some time.

Did they vote for Obama to bow to his friends in Saudi Arabia? Well, unfortunately, 911 happened, and it was necessary to remove the Taliban and Al Qaeda from their safe-haven. Good, cause there was no bailout of Canadian banks. Our banks are in good shape. I wouldn't characterize our economic problems as cured. But they've certainly improved. And I agree, government stimulus is way over-hyped, and usually not necessary, because before large bureaucracies can spend that type of money, economies have usually recovered.

On that theme, I saw a great stat related to Countdown with Keith Olberman. Number of times he mentioned Palin last week, 56. Number of times he mentioned the averted terrorist attacks, 0. Why am I not suprised.

I didn't interpret it as the Joker = Socialism. Here's why it's brilliant... Because the joke, is on the voters. They didn't vote for all this crap. They didn't vote for Obama to take over banks, and auto companies, and healthcare. They didn't vote for 700 billion dollar pseudo-stimulus packages that are really just spending bills on larger government. They didn't vote for trillion dollar deficits as far as they eye can see. And they didn't vote for a President to go around the world apologizing for how bad their country is, in many cases to dicators and tyrants of countries ten times as worse. But, what would we expect from an Administration that claimed, from the beginning, "NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE." You say the Joker is an agent of chaos? Well so is Obama. The more chaos, and the more panic, the more he can implement radical leftwing ideas that nobody voted for. It's brilliant.

I think that to be a member of the provincial government, and leader of his party, he had to have at least won a couple political races.

Do the Liberals really think Canadians want another election? Are they mad?

Iran YET again in Violation of the Nuclear Treaty
Shady replied to M.Dancer's topic in The Rest of the World
I'll ask again. I think you were asked when Iran opted out of the treaty? When did they? Or are you just talking out of your ass again? -
School Kids Taught To Praise Obama
Shady replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well then, you're clearly insane. So has Obama. And nobody had a fit, because children weren't forced to sing about God speaking through President Bush.
