I think it's public health officials who are saying that we shouldn't have large indoor gatherings.

Yep, if you’re Democrats you can go to posh resorts and dine in person with a large group of people without masks. You can get your hair cut without masks, you can attend Biden celebrations without masks. But if somebody wants to have dinner with their immediate family, they look to the police to enforce their edicts.
