I still don't know if anyone on this site watches this show. BUT if anyone does I have to think that they would agree that finale sucked massive ass. You spend an entire season making the story about a lawsuit from a morally reprehensible producer that's suing people because he got fired and we get absolutely zero satisfaction from that story. The biggest story in the finale is an engagement. Totally miserable ending to an otherwise great season.

Absolutely incredible. All the tension that's been building up over the past 5 seasons over Walt's amazingly selfish behaviour has come to a head in the past 2 episodes.

Newsroom is good. I started a thread that no one is posting. You have to watch every episode a minimum two times. Lots of stuff going on.

Pounced on that before I could fix the mistake. Gotta like the new FBI agent this season. Be also is vividly violent 2 deaths this last Sunday showed the victims barely alive gasping for air with blood everywhere. Very graphic.

That's not a Niqab, it's a Hijab. I doubt nurses would be allowed to wear Niqabs in hospitals, but that's about public safety and not xenophobia like this proposed Quebec law. I wouldn't have a problem dealing with someone wearing a turban in a hospital either or a Yamaka, both would be forbidden for public servants in Quebec if this law is passed.

When someone who has been in the work force for awhile finds themselves out of work and want help from the government for re-training they are told the onus on them to prove they want to go into a field where job prospects are great. Right now it's not a good investment of public money to give out loans for someone wanting to get into teachers college.

Ironically that's what we should do with public education. See voucher system.

We see the same with Metrolinx right now. Arm's length government agencies are just money pits. They seem to be accountable to no one.

University's don't have to respond to market conditions. They can pay a professor 6 figures to teach students something that won't help them get a job, and no one can say bleep about it.

Students should have to give evidence they have a plan to become employable in-order to receive an OSAP loan. If you want to get a BA in History you should provide evidence (based on market conditions) that you are going onto a post-graduate program that actually gives you skills that the economy needs. But of course people that teacher philosophy, history, human rights etc would be out of a job.

This Liberal government doing anything that's not a terrible job would be shocking.

Yet when I wanted a copy of my MRI they couldn't just e-mail a file to my GP, I had to drive to the hospital and pick up a CD.

My Doctor uses a puter for all my records now. But does that mean all my previous files from previous doctor's offices I've visited are all digitized? I highly doubt it.

Well the first season was only 6 episodes. I just found it getting tedious after awhile. Can't really go into it without giving spoilers. The older lady who acts as the foreman is rather insufferable and when they introduce his son it gets quite annoying. I have no info on a movie, just the rumour when in was announced the show was cancelled.

Totally lost interest in the show half way through the 2nd season. It got cancelled after Season 2. There may be a movie though.

I wasn't a Hudak hater for awhile. The rules say he can do that if he lives 50+ kms from Queen's Park. Shurman claims he ran it by everyone including Hudak first to see if making that claim was cool. The problem is that the riding he represents is close to Toronto. He's not the only MPP or MP that doesn't live in the riding he represents. But the optics seemed bad in the wake of Duffygate. Now Shurman was a bit of an idiot by claiming he ONLY makes $112,000 but still. Hudak kicked him out of the Shadow Cabinet for not paying back what he was entitled too claim. I heard on the radio this morning that Shurman wanted to run in Niagara but Hudak told him to run in Thornhill. This story makes Hudak look really bad.

If anyone thought this provincial government was loathsome enough. I present to you yesterday. Toronto council had a plan pending where they had Mayor Ford agreeing to some sort of tax hike and funding from the Feds pending a September 30 deadline. Too soon for Glen Murray and Ms. Wynne! They come out yesterday saying the Feds and City have no plan for transit and they'll fund 100% a nub of a subway line that's simply replacing an existing line. It's less than half a line that passed council like last month. WTF!?!?!?! Then he goes on the radio blaming the Feds and Mayor Ford for not committing any money to transit. Who's been in power going on 10 years Murray? Where was your party planning for transit? You were too busy cancelling power plants, wasting taxpayer money on digitizing medical records and allowing an air ambulance service steal taxpayer money. These guys are despicable!

All funded by the Province. Saving this one Scarborough seats could end up proving to be much more expensive than the seats saved stopping those power plants.

They probably are too good for Canada. Are Telecom industry is beyond Podunk. I just got Seattle network channels pulled from my cable package because, according to my provider, the CRTC doesn't want so many American channels on that package.

In theory it's up to the shareholders to rein that in, but I too don't agree with that practice. Apples and Oranges though. Why does the CEO of Hydro One deserve a multi-million dollar salary? Why does Metrolinx even exist? Let alone all the wealthy people that bureaucracy created. The public sector does it too.
