I'm sure economically challenged people will still blame Carbon Taxes once Gas Prices skyrocket again due to OPEC's cut to oil production.

Not really, I do still own an ICE vehicle, though it's not used daily anymore.
But Carbon taxes are not the main culprit. They existed when prices hovered around a $1/litre. This is profit taking by Oil Companies and OPEC.
