CDC on Life Expectancy in the US. Top 10 states are all Blue. Bottom States are all Red.

There could be lots of reasons, and politics is not necessarily the cause. Big urban areas have more wealth, more hospitals and universities. From what I've seen, and it makes sense, the quality of care in rural areas is not the same as in big cities.
