  1. Oh! then it's settled. The attacks never happened. This is great news! Phew!!! We don't have to worry about extreme islam anymore. Thanks Eyeball!
  2. C'mon everybody, let's wait til for the results of the investigation....just like we did when it was the Conservatives. Hahahahahahahaha!
  3. The definition of microagression has never been explained, so let me show you how it works Squid. If a leftie is pissed at something it's a microagression. If it's anyone else who is pissed, that's racism. Easy peasy.
  4. Smallc, you remind me of the hockey fan who cheers for whatever team is on top at any given time.
  5. Again, who is this "we" that I keep hearing about?
  6. That, in a nutshell, is the kind of atmosphere that is created by too much political correctness.
  7. You forgot to mention that it doesn't work for the truckload of lawyers that have been milking this file for decades either.
  8. Who exactly is this "we" that is continuing to perpetuate injustice to this day?
  9. What is the timeline for having to accept guilt after the fact?
  10. Funny how the left rode Harper for ten years about his photo-ops, as if no politician ever had a photo-op before. Now that the second coming of PM Trudeau has graced us, it's photo-op city but not a peep from the left. BTW the photo-op with the Syrian refugees at the airport was an episode right out of the "Young and the Restless"

"Unless you're a refugee from Africa on the same day. Then you don't get a greeting." That is only partly true. You don't get a hello from Justin, and he will not hug your children. But everybody gets a selfie. Everybody.

  11. That must be why we currently have a Liberal majority.
  12. Yep, if only you knew....
  13. Fine then, change the definition of rural to suit your argument.
  14. Seamus O'Regan, Liberal MP for St. John's South-Mount Pearl to enter rehab for alcoholism.

This hour has 22 minutes has never been produced by the CBC. Rob Ford however was produced by the Conservative Party of Canada. Harper never got his threepeat though.

I guess Seamus O'Regan was produced by the Liberal Party of Canada according to Bubber Miley's calculations.

  15. Nonsense, we live in a rural area and get parcels delivered right to our door. All of our utility bills are sent to us electronically and paid electronically as well. All our banking is done online. Most of my major clients use direct deposit when making payment, the rest come once a month thru snail mail. If it wasn't for the minor clients, I wouldn't even need CP. I will say, I don't know how we would get the ton of waste each month in the form of junk mail, that ends up in a landfill site somewhere.
  16. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/economy/the-future-looks-bleak-for-ontarios-manufacturing-sector/article16132219/
  17. Yep, kinda like the 300,000 manufacturing jobs that Ontario has lost that nobody on the left seems to care about.
  18. Add in the 2.65B promised for climate change, the 1.2B miscalculation for the revenue neutral tax changes, the additional money required to get all the refugees in (that number continues to grow so I don't have a number), and might as well add in the cost of the T&R recommendations and we are already way over 10B. Funny that the left were outraged when Harper wanted to spend money to kick-start the economy, but NOW that it's a Liberal spending to kick-start the economy it's all OK sunny ways. I think it's about time you become a little more honest and change your handle from Smallc to HugeLib.
  19. One does not need a website to point out the Trudeau Liberals broken promises. One simply has to watch the news. But if you require a special website to put it all together in some understandable way for you, then have at it.
  20. Except we all know how partisan consultations can be.
  21. What about the "revenue neutral" tax plan, or saying that someone of his means doesn't require govt. funded child care? I like the occasional Timmies.
  22. Have to agree with most of what Argus is saying (despite the faux outrage from dialahma). I've seen the left/right divide growing in the last decade, even now starting to exist in more central left/right encounters. In my view, the main reasons are increased access to media, communications, internet as well as an ever increasing sense of political correctness being generated mostly from the far left. It has come to the point where I don't even associate with any left wingers any more (including some family). Partly because of the reasons pointed out by Argus, but the main reason is (and this is only my own personal experience) because of the condescending way those on the left try to depict anyone who disagrees with them. I suppose that is why most of my posts show a general disgust for those on the left. It's a sad state of affairs, but for me personally, it's up to the left to change their attitude towards the right, before I'll change my view of them. I also see (again only my own personal experience) more clearer lines between the left/right as far as economics are concerned. Most of the people I know that are left wing receive income either directly or indirectly from government sources (ie. public sector jobs, gov't. contractors, social services recipients, etc.) while most of the right wing people I know work in the private sector, either as an employee or as small business owners. I suppose that is why the left always seem to want to tax and spend, while the right wants to manage efficiently. I realize it's only anecdotal, but it is what I see around me, and for the most part, what I see online or on tv.
  23. Sounds like a bunch of Americanophobia to me.
  24. It's wonderful that you are basing your assessment of the Liberals on a report from some self proclaimed Tim Horton's addict named Dom. His claim to fame is trying to find the perfect Alberta poutine. So in his assessment so far he has "no promises broken" but we all know that to be untrue. But if it makes you feel good about Junior, then knock yerself out.
  25. So you feel that having "almost" balanced the budget, down to a few billion, as the conservatives did has left us on "shaky" ground, yet you are now supporting the Liberals promise to increase the deficit to 10B (a number which many are predicting will undoubtedly grow).
