  1. Dude, if you judged CNN by that standard they'd be so far underwater they'd be surfacing on the other side of the earth and I'm not even kidding. 3 full years of nothing but lies about Russian collusion, 6 months of lying about Ukrainian collusion, 4 months of lies about Kavanaugh, and overall, lying about almost every other thing in general. Trump is wrong sometimes and isn't honest about it in hindsight, he brags incessantly, he's a name-caller which isn't what you want to see in someone who's granfather-aged or a leading politician, he's a crass pig and a philanderer, but in truth he's been very honest with Americans about his political agenda/platform. It's yugely accurate - some people say that they can't believehow accurate it is it because it's the most accurate ever. Other politicians are losers.
  2. So I'm playing 2nd fiddle to the new guy now? This is bullshit. I have to up my game.
  3. Islamic state is 1/10th of what it was. Terrorist leaders are getting killed. Suleimani was dead within hours of sending troops to attack an American embassy. The world is on high alert - Trump is Texas personified. When Obama was Prez, and terrorists attacked, the message was "It's too early to call it a terrorist attack even though the perpetrator yelled a couple words over and over again while he was killing people. This is just an example of why we need tougher gun laws!" (even though AK-47's were illegal in the US).
  4. 99% of Canadians don't like killing babies. That doesn't mean that 99% of Canadians are against abortion. Get it? 80% of Canadians want assault weapons banned. Good news! Assault weapons have been banned since before I was born, and I'm over 50. The "poll" that you linked to was irrelevant. No country sends their soldiers to war with semi-auto .556s with 7-round magazines. Not even one. Those aren't "military-grade assault rifles" any more than my Nissan is a military-grade assault vehicle.
  5. I know that most of the military rifles in production around the world for the past couple of decades are .556s. The M-16, M4, C7, etc are all chambered for .556, but all the .556s I know that are deployed with military units around the world either have 3-round burst mode or fully automatic mode, in addition to semi-auto. Canada's infantry used the Belgian-made FN for decades, and it was semi-auto, but it was a .30 calibre (7.62mm) not a .223 (5.56mm). I was just saying that the terminology of "military-grade assault rifle" applies to a semi-auto .556 at all. I know a guy who has a normal looking hunting rifle that is a .300 WinMag semi-auto. It is a complete beast of a rifle compared to the "AR-15s" that Trudeau is talking about. The NATO round is 40 m/s slower and the bullet itself is 1/3 the size. The kinetic energy of the WinMag round is about 4x higher. From what I saw, I don't think that all .300 Mags are banned. If you had a NATO .556 and you had to go across an open field vs a WinMag you'd want to start from less than 500m for sure. The effective range of the winmag is over 1,000m
  6. Trump was conducting the exact same kind of business in Russia that he had always conducted in the US. His kids are doing the same kinds of business that they always were, except for the fact that they're no longer buying real estate in foreign countries. Hunter Biden was creating a new "Chinese private equity fund".
  7. Terrorism in the US is a lot lower under Trump than it was under Obama.
  8. When I saw the thread title I thought that this was more alt-left propaganda from the usual suspect lol.
  9. Joe Biden had official business to attend to in China so he and Hunter Biden flew to China together on AF2. FACT. While they were there on that trip, Hunter Biden waltzed into THE COMMUNIST BANK OF CHINA and arranged $1,500,000,000.00 in business. $1.5 BILLION. If Hunter just did $1M in business on that trip, which is a lot of business to do with the Communist Bank of China, he'd have to go back one-thousand-four-hundred-and-ninety-nine more times to get to $1.5 Billion. That's another FACT! If one of Trump's kids did that you'd recognize that there was a problem instantly and start shrieking about it, but your bias is giving your ignorance wings. OOooooh boy. Are you saying that the Bidens just mysteriously did $1.5 Billion in business with the Communist Bank of China for no apparent reason, while Joe was there conducting official US gov't business, and it has the appearance of randomness to you? Would you mind writing the following in your own words then, just to be clear: "I think that it's a silly deepstate conspiracy theory to assume that there was anything suspicious about Hunter Biden doing $1.5 Billion in business with the Communist Bank of China while he was in China with his dad, who was there working as the VPOTUS for the US government"? I just think it would be awesome for someone to finally come out in the open and state the obvious. People will call you "the genius".
  10. You're using the word Trumptard, and then belching out the dumbest, most conspiracy-laden post ever in the history of the internet. Why should anyone believe that "covid was only brought back to Canada by Americans"? With all of the outright lies being spread about covid, it's origins, when the breakout started, what people knew about it, what precautions countries should take to protect their citizens, etc, you think anyone is going to believe "a lab somewhere figured out that covid came to Canada from Americans"????????? The WHO gave out the worst advice possible to the entire world at the start of a global pandemic. Unlikely theories just aren't going to fly right now. You're lecturing us about trolling?????? LMAO! Facts are facts, and there are indisputable facts on this topic that you are either unable to comprehend or you're just ignoring. Quarantining is probably the single-most effective anti-viral strategy there is, until you have a vaccine. If you know that someone has a nasty virus the first thing that you do is isolate them from the public. The last thing that you'd do is set up treatment centers in the middle of a busy airport for people with a nasty virus, right? If you don't understand that then just give up dude. Much like you quarantine individuals, another BASIC strategy for fighting a pandemic to block travel from infected populations. Eg, if there was a new pandemic breaking out in Madagascar, the last thing that any sensible nation would do is allow flights from Madagascar and let people from those flights just wander off into the general public without screening or quarantining. Only Trudeau has been proven to be stupid enough to do that. Trump has already proven that he's not that stupid. He even defied the WHO's advice when they said that we should all do that. So here's another indisputable fact for you: Trump took the basic anti-viral strategies and put them in place back when Trudeau was too stupid to lift a single finger and do anything. That was the case for a full 45 days. WTF makes you think that Trudeau had a better plan?????? Is doing absolutely nothing to stop a pandemic usually the best route? Just sand there with your thumb up your ass and hope for the best? What do you think that Trudeau did better than Trump Xul? Name one action? You can't, and we both know that, so you want to stick to misleading stats. Guess what Xul????? The US has 8x our population density, and 1/9th of our population rides the NYC subway EVERY DAY! The fact that they were hit harder than Canada is not surprising at all, unless you're a total _______ idiot. Did you really expect the folks in Spuzzum BC to get covid while the population of NYC didn't? Is that what it would take for you realize that doing nothing isn't the best strategy? Super-concerned passenger: "Hey maybe we should move our car off the train tracks. That freight train's coming pretty fast!" Xul: "Stats prove that most cars that get hit by trains are actually racing to beat them. The last thing we want to do right now is drive really fast. I'm going to adopt the Trudeau method to avoid this train. Pass me the lube, my thumbs are huge!!!!"
  11. Is there even one country in the world that provides a .556 semi-automatic rifle to their troops? The FN that Canadians were issued up until the C7 was semi-auto but that was a 7.62. I've never heard of a semi-auto .556 being used by the military anywhere. Are there any semi-auto 9mm rifles or .22s on the banned list? Those don't seem to be military-grade either. I know that the village idiot lies all the time, he never tells the truth or even answers a question, but this is a whopper of a lie.
  12. What I said was an actual fact dialamah. I know that you probably don't understand it, but that's par for the course. Getting one's credibility insulted by dialamah and others of her ilk is the ultimate proof of integrity.
  13. The poll was an attempt at misleading Canadians to get an incorrect answer. It's like posting a poll about abortion and saying "Do you like killing babies" and then using that to prove that Canadians do not approve of abortion.
  14. Here's something for you to check out zg: They don't even track acid attacks in our country as a stat because they're so rare that it's meaningless - the graph would look like the battlements on a castle... ones and zeros, and we have 5x London's population.
  15. If the CBC had to edit your story to make an official, unbiased version it would look like this:
  16. It's not how much, it's how. If they're downplaying it constantly then it doesn't matter how much they "cover" it. SNC was an actual scandal with actual guilt on a large scale. IE - the government created a law (tucked into the back half of a 550+ page omnibus bill) specifically to help a criminal entity avoid the consequences of their own illegal actions. That's the only reason the DPA law even exists. Then he helped SNC again by trying to coerce the AG to use the DPA law even though it wasn't proper, in the eyes of the AG, who's a legal professional. Then the PM turfed the AG, then he punched down on her in public, and he prevented her and other members of his cabinet from telling the truth or cooperating with the RCMP. The media covered this story up at every step of the way, to the greatest extent possible. Even a person like you, who follows politics closely, were left unaware of SNC's history of bribing Liberal politicians. Duffygate was about $90K in travel claims. Duffy's main home was in Ottawa, but he had a cottage in PEI which he then claimed travel expenses to travel to, as if it was his main residence. That hardly tied the PM in any way, but the PMO wanted him to pay the money back right away so they cleared up his tab. It was inappropriate, but in the end, who was out $90K? What was the net result to the taxpayer? 0$. FWIW, $90K is enough to make 2 blocks of sidewalk, on one side of a street. It's literally nothing on the scale of a federal budget. What Duffy did is regular for these clowns. Trudeau's personal flights on one Florida vacation were over $100,000. That's just the flight cost, because Mr. Global Warming has to fly on a private jet, like all the other global warming truthers. https://thepostmillennial.com/trudeau-flights-from-florida-to-ottawa-will-cost-taxpayers-over-100000/ The point is that you know you're getting biased coverage when an entirely relevant topic, like Michel Fournier, is well known to the media but is completely verboten.
  17. I wrote two sentences there and you're accusing me of pontificating, during this incoherent screed? Capitalism is where humans contribute based on their own interests and abilities, their risk tolerance and effort level, and are rewarded for their success. Socialism is where humans are rewarded for being born, and where the reward for hard work or success is that you contribute more to society but get basically the same reward as anyone else. I get that you feel like working in a starter job for Cargill should get you the same income as a person who has invested most of what they have into a business, and put in 70 hrs/week. I get that you feel like the person who owns the company should only make a bit more than the workers. I just disagree. Many businesses owners worked during covid just like shelf-stockers at Safeway did. Many of their businesses will close permanently due to covid. Those business owners didn't just lose their jobs, they lost their investments - their 70+ hrs/week just ended up putting them in debt. Their employees can just go and apply for another job without the albatross of debt on their back, they have also EI to help them hold it together. You suffer from tunnel vision RtL. You see the world through the eyes of a person who gives the bare minimum through the first 18 yrs of their life and ends up entering the workforce as a bottom-feeder, and continuing to give the minimum.
  18. SNC is already dead. No one has been reporting on it for a long time and it's just over a year old. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/timeline-the-snc-lavalin-controversy-and-jody-wilson-raybould-1.1221040 Investigations into Duffy received top of the hour coverage on evening news for 3 years, right up to the federal election. When was the last time you saw anything about SNC on the CTV or CBC evening news? Did you find any video on CBC or CTV mentioning Michel Fournier while they were covering the SNC scandal? I have never seen it.

  20. They're not following the rules, that's why the verdict against Flynn will be vacated. Trump doesn't have to change the laws, once it's proven that the FB acted in the manner they did you'll see what the rules actually are. You don't think Hillary got caught lying over and over? She literally said "I don't remember" dozens of times. She pretended to have fallen backwards onto the stairs and bumped her head. Memory trouble. But, miraculously, it didn't affect her memory on the campaign trail.
  21. That's nothing more than your own opinion, which is of zero value in a debate about actual verifiable facts. If you want to call me on the fact that there's no such thing as 1,000% percent, that's not really your business. I believe that Argus is smart enough to know that I did not I literally mean "1,000%" and he's the one I said it to.
  22. I don't "unwaveringly support Trump." I've acknowledged his egregious flaws. He doesn't always tell the truth, but he's far more accurate than CNN any day of the week. He's the poster boy for hubris. He's ruthless at times. He puts Americans 1,000% ahead of everyone else on earth. He's a dastardly pro-lifer. He's a crass playboy, philanderer and a pig. He had an affair with a porn star and a playboy bunny and he got them to sign NDAs. So what? Would Nadler, Schiff or Schumer have gotten with those women if they thought that they could get away with it? Not one of those guys would have turned down the Playboy bunny. Not one. Chances are that at least one of those guys did far worse. Hillary's husband did far worse and Dem hypocrites don't care that Hillary punched down on bill's victims and called them bimbos, etc. Can you point me to where something that I said in the Russian collusion threads was even the slightest bit inaccurate? We have the benefit of hindsight now, we should dig some of that stuff up and reminisce. I have probably 500 posts there, maybe more. Then go through the Kavanaugh threads, see what you can find there that's even a little bit inaccurate. Then comb the covid threads for something that isn't 100% true. I bet that I have over 1,000 posts between those 3 topics. Surely you can find where I said something that wasn't true, or was at least inaccurate, if I'm just being a toady. Then let's look at your posts. Let's look at eyeball and boges and godzilla to see how many of their posts pass the sniff test with the benefit of hindsight.
  23. The truth IS... the... truth. Period. If people would try to actually gain a 100% understanding of an event before accepting the spin that's put on it that would be awesome. Eg, there is a majority of people on this site who will swear that the Canadian gov't did a better job fighting against covid than the US did but not one single person can point to a single action that was taken by our government prior to March 16th to slow down the spread of the virus into or around this country. Canada did nothing at all. They helped stop covid like I helped the '87 Oilers win the Cup. Instead of looking at the direct actions that we all know were taken by both sides, people rush to look for some twisted way to register a hit. They say stupid shit like: "The US [with 8x our population density] has way more covid than us! NYC [with 13,500x our population density, and the population of BC riding their subway every day] has way more covid than our whole country, and even our big cities [which do not compare in any way - even the GTA is small and vastly spread out by comparison, with 1/16th the population density]. People see what they want to see and that's actually a problem, because it makes them easy to control.
  24. "In their own way..." lol. That's the part that gets stretched to the max nowadays. You find me a leftist who tops the 20% truth mark and I'll show you a unicorn that eats dragons.
  25. Wow, your thread title is just an example of putting an extremely negative spin on Trump for something that the FBI did wrong. The FBI laid a perjury trap on Flynn, then he was bled dry in court fighting, then they threatened to put his son through the exact same thing that they put Flynn through unless he pled guilty to perjury at the aforementioned trap. The Dem lackeys at the FBI who set up Flynn are in the crosshairs of the AG. This is just another sad crime committed by the FBI in their plot to unseat a duly elected President.
