At the present time, support for Dems and Libs is caving. The US is growing stronger while homelessness and food bank usage in Canada are soaring. What makes you think that conservatives need a war to win the WH or PMO? What makes you think that Dems and their supporters suddenly lost their lust for political/racial violence? Judging by the reaction of TMZers at the moment Charlie Kirk was pronounced dead, do you really wanna talk about "which side supports political violence?" right now?

I don't think that violent offenders should get bail. That's what I'm saying, and it's what Kirk meant as well. Kirk was saying that "if someone wanted to be a hero among the San Fran leftist crowd, they would go bail that guy out, because letting violent criminals out of jail is considered heroic in San Fran". Do you understand that? Why is it good to bail out a guy who punched his baby momma in the face and then ran her over but it's bad to bail out the guy who attacked Pelosi? So what? If a terrorist wants to kill someone badly enough they will do it. In this instance the terrorist used a gun, but if they didn't have access to a gun then they could have used a truck or a bomb, and far more people would have been injured. Are you aware that terrorists have used those things before? Don't you remember the van attack that became a gun issue? The Oklahoma City bombing?

Everything that Charlie talks about is controversial. If a topic wasn't controversial there wouldn't be much point talking about it. I don't feel like this was a crime of passion, in that moment. I think it was planned more than a few days ago. Maybe even months.

You can't create a society where creating the perfect level of access to weapons doesn't "cause" someone's death. If Nancy Pelosi could somehow 100% ban people from having guns, knives, bats, clubs, rocks and anything else that they could use as a weapon, then she would have created a society where the biggest people would know that everyone smaller than them was defenceless, and there would be no deterrent from them going into people's homes at night and then doing whatever they wanted. When a 240-lb dude waltzed into the Pelosi's home at night, and the Pelosis were just 100% at the criminal's mercy, Nancy would be a victim of the society that she chose. Honestly, how many more home invasions would there be if criminals knew that there were zero guns in America? One of the scariest things that you can right now do is get caught breaking into an American's house. Just remember that the entire foundation of a complex society is a safe home. If you lived every minute of your life knowing that at any moment someone bigger than you could just waltz into your home and take what they wanted or even kill you, why would you bother to get educated? Could you leave your family behind and go to work? No, you would basically live at home like Gronk, just occasionally running out to kill something to bring home and throw on the fire.

It's a central theme of 2nd amendment rights proponents that the cost of having guns is outweighed by the danger of living in a society where a small group of people has all the guns and the populace is entirely at their mercy, but at the same time he wasn't a terrorist supporter, and this is first and foremost another act of left-wing terrorism, not an act of gun violence. You gotta admit, it's better that the terrorist who attacked him used a gun than a moving truck, a bomb, or some other incendiary device. The body count was one, not 230.

It's impossible not to see any humour in the Pelosi incident, especially when you find out that he was ok at your initial introduction to the story. If he was seriously or permanently injured it wouldn't be funny at all, but the old man in his tighty whities pretty much won that fight.

There's just not enough actual news content, nor enough truth or accuracy in MSNBC's broadcasts, for it to pose as a news channel in Canada. I'm not saying that MSNBC should be banned in Canada, but it should be labelled more accurately if they want their tripe to be broadcast here. Maybe "The Racist Disinformation Network", or CBC Sawwth".
