Cartels Are Being Dismantled
WestCanMan replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The reason he was caught is in YOUR article, dummy. And FYI it wasn't the result of a drug investigation. Stop equating "Trump going directly after drug dealers and drone-striking them" with "someone was tracked down in a kidnapping case who happened to be a drug dealer while Biden was president". Drug dealers while Biden was POTUS: "Don't kidnap anyone and you won't get caught" Drug dealers and terrorist leaders while Trump is POTUS: "Any moment could be your last. A missile could just strike you down and kill you before you even know it's there. Maybe it's time to lay low for a while." Get it? Remember how Al Qaeda just vanished to the point where everyone thought that it was gone? -
Robo is the kind of leftist that even the decent leftists are starting to hate.

There is no equivalency here. High-profile leftists have been talking publicly about killing conservative leaders for years, and then defending it as comedy and art. Unless the leftists here can find examples of high-profile conservatives acting like Kathy Griffin, or they have examples of people like Hillary, Obama, Biden or Kamala getting shot, this isn't a "libs and conservatives" issue, it's a lib thing. Instead of coming here and engaging in bothsideism, leftists should just be acknowledging that their side has been hyper-violent since 2014, and it's time for it to stop before it blows up.

What Kathy griffin did wasn't a joke. There was nothing funny about it. It was 0% humour, 100% political violence. Similarly disgusting comments about killing the president or blowing up the WH by Depp, Madonna, etc were treated as fair commentary. When a man dressed up as Trump to be killed in the stage play "Hamilton", it was treated as art. The leftists here were equally determined to downplay the serious and disgusting nature of those sentiments. None of you put Griffin on blast. Or Madonna, or Depp, or the actors and producers of Hamilton. Etc. It was all "Meh." You reap what you sow, and this is exactly what you sowed.
-
No, it would have been nice if you didn't condone the incitement of violent attacks by prominent actors, singers, comedians and elected Democrat officials. The time for the sentiment that you're echoing was back when Kathy Griffin was holding a severed-head effigy of the president, not "now that it's getting scary for democrat supporters". In fairness to Colbert, it looks like he got some blowback from leftists over his rough treatment of Griffin.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/late-night-hosts-stephen-colbert-jimmy-kimmel-mourn-death-charlie-kirk?dicbo=v2-ry3J81A It's interesting to see leftist leaders pumping the hate brakes. Whether this was just a chance for them to get on the soapbox to look good, or they're doing it to save their own skin, at least they're speaking like decent human beings right now, and for that we should all be thankful.

It's easy to be generous when you can turn water into wine, bb, but for those of us who lack magical powers of biblical proportions, there's only so much that can be given. Furthermore, a huge chunk of the money that goes to USAID and NGO's doesn't go to the poor, just like Clinton Foundation money didn't go to Haitians. You give, they take, and the hungry and poor remain hungry and poor. You're shilling for org's that use poor people as an excuse to drain the gov't for their own personal financial gain.

This is a complex subject and people are going to have their own interpretations and opinions on the matter, and no matter how religious you personally are, yours are not the be-all end-all. That article seems to be is an entirely slanted hit-piece, if you're being honest. Guaranteed the dude who wrote that article wears panties and cheers when he sees a cop being shot, or a building being looted or burned down.

I love the fact that Trump killed a boat full of drug dealers. Fentanyl isn't a drug, it's a weapon. Trump had the balls to make this war into a blood fud, just like he did when he killed Suleimani. Make no mistake, Trump knew that cartels would put a price on his head when he did this.

Read your own article you f'ing dummy, and then tell me why you think that guy was arrested. -
The guy who supports Hamas killing children is upset because some drug dealers were killed. Now I've seen everything.

Charlie Kirk shot!
WestCanMan replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yup. Anyone who gets caught deep-faking a video to try to get someone convicted of a violent crime is looking at years in a real prison. Only the Dems and ABC tv can get away with doctoring video to incriminate people. That could work, as long as running is automatic prison time. -

I was making the case that the AR is probably the one weapon in America that gives the 2nd amendment group the most teeth, and you're now telling me how lethal it is. Are you supporting me here, or what? That reminds me of the Ben Stiller movie with all the weird "superheroes". The one girl was a bowler whose father's death was declared to be an accident by the police. He "fell down an elevator shaft, onto some bullets." -

That has about as much truth as anything else that TMZ says, so sure, I guess. They were watching dancing with the stars and the winner was announced at the exact same time as the news anchor was receiving news of Kirk's demise in his earpiece. -

The poster you quoted was replying to robo, who didn't limit the range at all, he just said 'the AR is the most lethal for reasons that you plebes don't understand' and that was it. Obviously the .50 cal is far more lethal than the AR. It's mainly considered an anti-material weapon, and it has far higher velocity and several times the kinetic energy of an AR round. The SG is devastating from close in: it's like getting shot 15 times at once. -

There was a loud, jubilant celebration in the background on TMZ when they were announcing that Kirk was pronounced dead. -

Maybe he was shocked and horrified because he knew what was about to happen, and the part he was playing in it. If you're talking about after the shooting, anyone would be shocked looking at that. I don't know though, I only saw the video of Charlie, not one of the person asking the question. -

AR-style rifles kill less people in the US than hammers and bats. It's positively weird that they're the poster-child for US homicides. When you think about it: AR's kill less people than almost any other gun and most other murder weapons. Handguns kill 5x as many people as AR's AR's are the main weapon that Americans have which actually offers them 2nd amendment protection from a tyrannical gov't... The AR is the only weapon that the Dems truly hate. If you try to take handguns away from inner-city criminals, the Dems lose their minds. Hmmmm.... -

Guns don't enable criminals to kill people, because criminals without access to guns still have the ability to kill people. Lots of them. FYI if the assassin used a truck or bomb to attack Kirk, he wouldn't have just killed Kirk, he woulda killed dozens of people, and some of them would have been left4rds, because they do show up at his events. And CNN woulda called it another "50-person car crash". -

Wow, dummy. FYI it's impossible for Kirk to have spoken for hours at a time, hundreds of days a year, for years on end, without uttering a single statement which turned out to be incorrect. And he was at a podium speaking from memory that whole time, on topics that other people brought up. And you're trying to hold him to a standard of 100.0% accuracy in every word of every sentence? 😂 Now do CNN, Treebeard. Then do CBC. Then do Fauci. Do Trudeau. Buddy, your list is tiny compared to Carney's list from 2025 alone. Carney told several DIRECT lies and fabrications of which he was 100% aware, not just things that he was wrong about, or that he got from questionable sources. He knew that he was lying, and you forgive him. he was elected PMOC based on a string of lies, and that meets your standards. This isn't a topic for you to engage in with any credibility. Kirk is almost 100% accurate by comparison to what YOU consider valuable news and medical information sources. -

Touche. But you gotta admit, the ones who cheer on violent riots, who cheer when people like Kirk are murdered, and who condone threats and harassment of political opponents, are ALL on the left. -

There wasn't a loud cheer from the background at Fox News when news broke that they were actually deceased, either. Left4rds are truly gross and I'm never gonna pretend that they're not. -

WestCanMan replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
That's actually pretty easy. Judges base the amount of bail required on the risk of flight posed by the accused, their rap sheet, the amount of evidence against them, the severity of their crime, the level of violence in their crime, the danger to the general public posed by them, etc, etc. If someone is caught on video committing a violent crime, their bail will be anywhere from high to astronomical, if they can even get bail. If the police think someone may have assaulted their spouse but the suspect has no priors, no criminal history, there's barely enough evidence to even get a trial, there's no physical evidence of violence, and the suspect owns a house and a successful business nearby, bail will be set low. The bail system was designed to get people to show up for trial and yet to keep people in jail if there's ample evidence that a suspect needs to be held in order to keep the public safe. -

100% wrong. You made a statement which implies that both sides are equal partners in the "incitement and support of political violence" category, and nothing could possibly be further from the truth. If you don't wanna get called out for being deceitful then be more honest and accurate. I don't "blame" the left. I gave examples of the leftist leaders and their MSM cohorts inciting, supporting and condoning radical political and racial violence consistently and constantly, over more than a decade. If you'd like to try and make your equivalency argument again, then go ahead and show me where conservative politicians incited violence, where they actively supported it, and where they condoned it. Find a video where Rebel News was caught cheering because a Canadian politician/political figure was murdered. You equated the Green Party with the FLQ, Michael. You equated islamic state with the Brazilian Army. That takes a bit of evidence, because most people aren't aware of the war crimes committed by the Green Party and the Brazilian army.
