  1. Is circumcision considered male genital mutilation?
  2. Does anybody know her real story? Maybe we should back up a bit and find out what led to this before we judge her and what she represents. This thread has really detoriated fast. Just sayin...
  3. Oops! I didn't realize the article continued farther down LOL, the school does have basically a school uniform policy (or at least a strict dress code) I'm not a fan of leggings as to me they make girls look kinda like frogs standing up Finishing the story it appears it may more an embarrassment to the school than a sexual issue. In other words they are pissing the teachers off... If it is genuinely causing distraction in a sexual way than I say it's not backwards at all we need to realize we are sexual beings instead of trying to drive it underground. Personally I think there are situations where male and female students could be segregated. In the classroom environment it's not an issue as males and females have the same intelligence and we can learn to work together as well as challenge each other. That being said, I think we should celebrate we are two different sexes, let there be boys only classes and girls only classes. There are two perspectives society is trying to squash and we are ruining our diversity and competitiveness because of it.
  4. OH! The Germans! Specifically the blond haired/blue eyed ones?
  5. With crispr gene editing this can all be solved. Maybe this is what we want?
  6. I'm probably going to get flogged for this but here goes... The human being, like almost every other multi celled organism on this planet needs to mate to procreate and continue the species. In order to accomplish this the sexes have developed attributes meant to attract the opposite sex and will attempt to copulate at every opportunity, humans are not exempt from this fact of evolution. That being said, "most" human beings have developed beyond raw sexual attraction and formed boundaries in which to live our lives. Because we have these boundaries does not mean we can turn our sexual drive on and off, even an honest priest, buddha or nun will tell you they still have sexual drive, they just use willpower to mask it (some more successfully than others...). From what's available on the internet it also appears men have a far stronger sexual drive than women. I find it interesting people are not able to comprehend these facts. In many businesses and public venues men are expected to dress in suits or attire that covers their whole bodies from the neck down and in neutral colors whereas with women the dress code is far more relaxed, low necklines are accepted, attire can be form fitting, the color spectrum is far more open. When men communicate in certain cases they have found the way a woman dressed distracting they are attacked, there was an incident in BC a couple years ago regarding this if anyone can remember, this is no different. Women know this and use it as a tool, it makes sense. To answer your question, in my mind they have a totally legitimate argument. I think there should be school uniforms. If we are expecting an environment where people are expected to accomplish something (teaching and learning in this case) everybody should be required to wear the least distracting clothing possible. My opinion...
  7. Well, with the advent of gene modification they should be able to make the human being sexually inert and sexual harassment will become a thing of the past...
  8. Personally I don't care for sports let alone the Olympics. That being said it is kinda neat having one country sponsor a get together every once in a while. It would be neat to step it down to real amateur athletes and make it far more genuine. Especially if there was a world fair as part of the celebration. Maybe there needs to be a cap on spending for events like this so it makes a more level playing field for all nations. It would be really cool if richer nations got together and helped poorer nations sponcor these events. l also believe the Olympic rings shouldn't be trademarked, it really disappointed me when I heard of police in England forcing small businesses to take anything with the rings out of their storefront windows and off their shelves. It saddens me absolutely everything including national pride needs to have a price. I am a bit of a dreamer though
  9. Pray tell what is this supreme race of which you speak
  10. It's not oppressive to women to outlaw it? Dresses should be outlawed as Mennonites and Hutterites require their women wear them? The cross should be outlawed as Christianity has oppressed women forever? It's not the object or symbol, it's the people with the power...
  11. Careful people... This is going to cost us another ten million per accused to fix...
  12. Apparently it's still relevant, it makes national headlines Even though it's a little out there it can still be used to glean some information and perspective for intelligent news consumption.
  13. You do? I don't think legality/legitimization was even a consideration in the planning of this event. You seem to be under the incredibly illogical assumption they couldn't have used hijackers and planes in conjunction with explosives to accomplish these demolitions, maybe as scapegoats. To the average/busy layman, planes bringing down the twin towers with hijacked aircraft is far less suspicious than just collapsing in their own footprints. If you go back to news stories WTC7 is barely mentioned. I know that and I'm also not arguing that. Again, I'm not arguing this, like you from what I've learned I don't believe the aircraft or the resulting fires brought down the towers. Unlike you I believe these aircraft were used for some reason. My guess is to cement the world's belief that it was done solely by middle east terrorists. Demolishing three buildings without raising suspicion it was an inside job is allot easier if it appears it was done by hijacked aircraft. Hijacking aircraft is far less technical and time consuming than rigging buildings for demolition and would be a far easier sell to the public.
  14. Maybe the problem is their dog given brains LOL
  15. Taxme, you must be a great source of entertainment when you enter an area occupied by non whites Although I agree there is far too much immigration into this country and the government is doing it for completely wrong reasons 99.9% of these people and their offspring are decent, law abiding individuals. We are not being colonized by a "supreme" race that thinks we're savages that's hell bent on wiping us out or knocking the "white" out of us.
  16. Nope, all we can do is use our brains and filter to the best of our abilities. When I go to troubleshoot an issue with a machine I use the information available at the time, I combine this experience, training and information I gather from sources online and in the industry and work toward a solution. Every problem needs to be approached with an open mind, without that we wouldn't be where we are today. Remember, in the past humans couldn't fly, couldn't talk over long distances, couldn't travel faster than running and so on, all this was "impossible"...
  17. Maybe not as I explained. They didn't have to, thermite wasn't in their job description, their job was to fly the planes. All physics laws were followed as far as I can see. 300,000lb object hits 500,000t structure at 500+mph the results are exactly as I'd suspect. First of all it's not impossible, but in my opinion highly unlikely. That part of the operation could have been done during construction or during the renovation process. Possibly even by unknowing legitimate contractors if this "nanothermite" stuff you describe is as easy to install as you say. Again, not impossible but highly unlikely. Why do you believe all this is impossible? They had years to plan and execute this operation, wouldn't take more than a few people to know the whole plan, less than a hundred to execute it. It's entirely possible most of the people involved in the execution of this operation were in the buildings when all this took place. A few holes and leaks are easily ignored or put off as conspiracy. The resulting investigation and court exercise could easily be altered by false information. Again, nothing is "impossible", just highly unlikely.
  18. HE, nothing is "impossible", I learned that a long time ago...
  19. Not impossible, were the beams 10ga steel at that level? If so then it was possible. The beams were also not continuous, they were built in interlocking sections and as such sections several over could have tore out the sections at the wingtips.
  20. What, Arabs can't board aircraft? Hijackers can't steer a plane? Navigate? It's impossible to hit a building with an aircraft? An aircraft can't damage a building? Sorry, this among many other things is totally possible.
  21. That's what happens when an object weighing in the vicinity of 300,000lbs hits a building at about 590mph...
  22. Optical illusion? Happens all the time.... https://www.google.ca/search?q=accidental+optical+illusions&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj6nLXthrPXAhWoqFQKHd9lBJMQ_AUICigB&biw=1280&bih=590 Didn't have to, but could bust glass without a problem.
