Men are objectified at certain jobs. They're also hired or not hired based on their looks. You don't see too many ugly or unkempt male servers either. A person - every one of us takes a job (or doesn't) that suits our looks, intelligence, personality etc. And yes, when you apply at a job for twin Peaks or Hooters, you sorta know what is expected of your appearance. If you can't deal with that, apply at Appleby's or McDonalds (where they complain that the uniforms make them look frumpy).

People make their own choices. If someone doesn't want to work at an establishment like that, then don't....but don't ruin it for those who do want to work there and the tips that go along with it. Another liberal trying to push another law!

I just think it's poor form for WCR to question someone else's suspension when in an equal world she should be cast to the shadows every now and then for her behaviour. Unfortunately, she seems to have carte blanche to throw insults without reprisal.

You made a post just two or three days ago flat out calling me a moron - what suspension did you get? Not only that, it took 12 hours to remove. So, he can get breasts, put on a dress and claim he's a woman and get all the lefties in agreeance saying "hey yeah, she can be whatever she wants", he is touted as a brave woman on the cover of Vanity fair and everyone's good, he can be voted woman of the year to tremendous applause from the left, all the while ducking from the charges of killing someone. But, say he wants to support a republican and all of the sudden, it's "she can't do that". Look, the dude is a first class nutcase. And you've all bought into it, until he votes republican. Classic!

Aren't we still touting the idea of "just say no!"? You guys may think it was lame, but what about wearing pink shirts on bully day or the campaigns about cyberbullying,"say no to drugs" "a drug free me", "this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs". Sure, some slogans sound lame but these campaigns work for many people. I appreciate her attempt at that moreso than Tipper Gore who during the same period was dragging in musicians to testify in congress and censoring music.

Sure, maybe he wants to allow bakeries to act on their beliefs, but lets face it, gays only raise hell at these places for the reason to antagonize the religious people. You talk about "black and white", but you're the one basically saying "rather this than that". I have girls and we teach them about drugs and sexual issues, sometimes the two intertwine. I do separate the difference between heroin and weed (although weed isn't always as safe as it was when we were young), and I always tell them that there is nothing good to be gained from doing drugs of any sort and also that they don't need a boy in their life to be complete. If a girl is trying to get an education, the last thing she needs in her life is a boyfriend and to be sexually active. There is plenty of time for the drama of a relationship after she's on her way to a decent education.
