US Armed Forces = Union-style Meritocracy?
monty16 replied to Bob Macadoo's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Thank you, it takes courage to go against your country's propaganda efforts. I welcome the scorn as I understand that the lowlife who hand it out are those that have been propagandized into not being able to understand anything else.Even Nazi Germany had it's few who weren't afraid to tell the truth when the tide was rushing in against good and truth. -

And once again, this isn't about me. I won't report it this time but please cease and desist from the personal attacks. -
Trudeau Jnr adopts Wedge Politics

Well then, when's the last time you heard a conservative expressing concern over social reponsiblity of government. They simply don't believe in it because they think it's going to steal some of their money. Witness the sick gong show south of the border. -

This isn't about me. Thanks again for respecting the rules of the forum! -
Yeah right, the US is in the ME for the cabbage crop. And it won't stop until Iran becomes too big to bully. That's what nukes are for.

Reminds me of when the two decided to go for a walk during the Kosovo war. They were shown with a Serb who gave them both a black eye or two and then sent them back to their mommies. They became American war heros too! edit: Or was it three? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/309554.stm -
Nice try! LOL

Oh no! Don't tell me you're also a Ford sympathizer too??

More regulations are usually a good thing. In many cases higher taxes are a good thing too. Parroting the US line of bs on taxes is a communicable disease. Understanding why Canada doesn't get into that is the key. And anyway, on the average we pay less taxes than they do by at least half of sources commenting on the topic. harper is going to fix that by raising taxes on the lower 4 quintiles.

US Armed Forces = Union-style Meritocracy?

Here's the predicted US damage control that will make Bergdahl into another John McCane style songbird/turned hero. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/08/bergdahl-torture-taliban_n_5468218.html Too late though because the Taliban video was meant to show him healthy and walking on his own in a spritely manner! Chances are very likely that he's a man who saw the light about the evil he was doing and he walked away from it. The US will never let that kind of image stand because it shows some truth that compromised their cause. Senator Bergdahl? 2020 or before? -
US Armed Forces = Union-style Meritocracy?
monty16 replied to Bob Macadoo's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Right on Bob! I was thinking the same thing. -
That's a pretty wild assumption Shady. I think it's none of the US's business and furthermore, if you fear a Taliban or Iranian government then it's likely got a lot to do with the US meddling in the ME for oil. They don't just hate the US for no reason you know. Be aware that in my opinion the best thing Iran can do is get their nuclear weapon as a deterrent to US aggression. Now that's something you can work with. (be cautious to not vilify me now because you know what that gets you)
-
Off the top of my head, those with a 14C, but there are other instances where it's done under the table. Look Shady, if you want to get into a serious discussion and drop all your de-Nile then let me know. I'm not here to waste my time. That would mean you would have to address my responses. Oh, and think about the illegal aliens too because I'm going to bring up that issue too. Think, it's why they keep them illegal.

You must mean 'to which I'm entitled'? In any case I'm not hearing any kind of rebuttal and so will move on and not waste my time. -
SHAME! Our 'Health Care" is the pits in comparison. :(
monty16 replied to a topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If you're trying to make a point then please try to make it clear what you want to say. I would suggest that you don't concentrate so much on me and my posting style and concentrate more on your business at hand. Fwiw, I think Canada is placed rather admirably on the OECD and the WHO charts you produced. Good health care costs money and if it's not being funded then that most likely shows up in WHO ratings for quality. Except in the case of the US of course where they pay much more than other countries per capita and get themselves rated in 37th. or 42nd., depending on the year they were rated. I'm trying very hard to hear you an appreciate you so please try to make your case. Thanks! -

And good grief Argus, why would you show me a link that places Canada either 6th. or 8th. in cost per capita? Surely you didn't think I was suggesting that we outperform the entire world? Were you confused? -

monty16 replied to a topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Referring to me as an internet blowhard is a personal attack. Again! I referred to the US when I said their system costs nearly double ours per capita and that is fact. If some of the better universal health care systems in the world out perform ours on cost then that's saying something for universal health care. -
Whhhhaaattttt? You are trying to tell me that some employers don't pay less than the prescribed minimum wage? Otherwise, why would you waste your time trying to tell me the definition of minimum wage? You disappoint again! I want you to try harder because you're the best rightie we've got.

Not much of a rebuttal Shady. Sound more like a denial withut any substance. The facts on Bergdahl speak loudly and you've failed to address them. Could it be that it's widespread and they are joining up for a job and not considering that they have to do the devil's work for the money? Give us your best and keep in mind that this isn't about me o.k? -

You need to read his posts carefully before you jump at the opportunity to attack me personally again. -

My point was about funding so you must be confusing me with somebody else. And you think we spend more on health care than other countries? Duhhhhhhhhhh! Some already know the US spends nearly twice as much per capita than we do. Laughable isn't a word to explain your kind of drivel! -
http://rt.com/news/164536-syria-rebels-supplied-lethal/ Maybe they have finally figured out who the good guys are? It couldn't be an effort to overthrow a government and install a US friendly one in it's place could it?

The US/Nato getting the desired results. http://rt.com/news/164564-slavyansk-shelling-water-hospitals/ But wasn't their big outcry that a few died in the streets due to Yanukovich's stronghanded methods? And where have we heard that before? In Iraq where the US went to save the people from Saddam?
-
They all need to transmit a recordable signal to a satellite. I bet it's readily available and cheap too. Maybe some airlines don't want anybody knowing where their aircraft are at all times?

It comes to the US by keeping workers at minimum or less than minimum wages. Let's help them perpetuate that by shopping south of the border to reap the benefits of starving American workers.
