  1. On guard for thee, I follow the Western media as much as any of you and there's little doubt that the Ukraine has fallen back to third or fourth place in the current news. RT is keeping it right up there because it's a definite challenge to Russia by the US/nato. Always was for that purpose of course.
  2. It started with me asserting that the US supported both Iraq and Iran during their war. Now they've deliberately twisted it to mean something else. It's either deliberate or they just don't understand the facts.
  3. Yes, it threatens our Western way of life. But lots of people didn't understand that before 911 and now some do. I keep saying that the next attack could be a lot bigger and more destructive than just a few airplanes flown into tall buildings. To use the US's own words they used to justify war, "it could be in the form of a mushroom cloud".
  4. Of course I continue to defend Saddam Hussein. His alleged crimes if true, would never equal the crimes of the US against him and his people. I hope you understand that but if you don't then we'll discuss it further.
  5. Are you denying the well known facts to be disruptive or are you truly unaware? Let me know because it's going to go a long way towards the way I respond to you in the future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran%E2%80%93Iraq_War#Both_countries see 8.3
  6. Exactly! And as long as they can't tell what trolling is and what it isn't, means that they aren't being taken in by the ridiculous 'trolling' charge that is only ever made with the express purpose of having somebody's opinions censored.
  7. The trouble is, the ugly unsubstantiated charge of trolling will again rear it's ugly head and shame on any moderator who is taken in by it. And to those who stoop to making the charge, we should all understand that it's your last desperate attempt to silence that which hurts your ears.
  8. Was that your honest opinion or did you lie to us Shady? I think it's acceptable if it was just a misunderstanding on your part.
  9. Thanks for staying clear of the personal attacks! Criticism of my opinions is all I'm asking for from you. If those opinions had any substance then I would take the time to disagree.
  10. I sure hope you're right, and respect the fact that you usually are a lot more right than the US apologist screamers, but I know that the situation is being escalated right now by the Ukraine and that just begging for more US/nato involvement. disclaimer: I'm getting this from RT news and they could be lying. LOL
  11. Thanks for your opinion. If we are to believe that their interests are different from Al Qaida's interests then we have noting to worry about. I don't believe that even though we know that they aren't Al Qaida. In the very near future, days perhaps, we are going to hear the US propagandists sounding off about this issue. I'm almost sure they will take the position that they will have to bomb them over there so they can't bomb us over here.
  12. Or it could be the same approach the US took with the Iran/Iraq war. Stay out and let them slaughter each other to buy some time. But not really staying out though and continuously supporting one side or the other to maintain a balance and prolong the killing.
  13. It's not obvious what conclusions you're hoping we take from that comment. Are you suggesting that Al Qaida is in bed with the Zionists? fwiw, I wouldn't agree but I do understand how the Zionists are able to play competing interests against each other for their own betterment. There are lots of examples of that we can relate to here.
  14. Thanks for your support of my opinions.
  15. I would say that all countries need to stop meddling in the ME's affairs. And I'm cautious of saying that an invited country such as Russia now in Iraq, will turn out to be in support of any good. My gut feeling that any support of Maliki, who was a US installed and sympathetic dictator, wouldn't be good for Iraq. Your opinions?
  16. Is it? As far as I knew, the use of the term was judged to be allowable so far. If the decision to not allow it is made then I will surely abide by that decision. So let's find out now shall we?
  17. I read your preference loud and clear, even through the obvious sarcasm of 'holy water', 'Christian', 'good bombs', etc. Cambodia style right? Level the ME to a smoking glass parking lot? Never give up! Force is all they will ever understand! did I read you right?
  18. You've sort of evaded answering the question but in any case I think your opinion is important. You're saying that they're not hell bent of destroying anything that isn't Muslim or Islam. You're saying that at least so far they don't regard us as infidels that need to be erased. Right? That sort of answers the question anyway, even if you didn't mean to do that. You're in fact saying that the West needs to clear out and the trouble will die down again to what it used to be before US meddling. Right? Of course, you recognize the other extreme that would be something akin to the bombing of Cambodia. Allout force. Am I right is thinking that you've chosen against that?
  19. It sounds like an honourable position coming out of the teabaggers but it's not in my opinion. The giveaway is that they aren't discriminating enough to divorce themselves from racism, extremism, fanaticism, Glenn Beck, and other undesirables. That is their failing and will lead to their complete demise The yellow flag they wave or the confederate flag they wave and love so much just doesn't go hand in hand with an honourable attempt to stop government tyranny. Their feigned nonsense of government coming in the night to take away all their guns just doesn't jibe with honesty. And the truth you are going to have to face Shady, is that they honestly do think that's what government wants to do to them. Do you recall the similarity to the Reform party of Canada? Do you recall how it was a marriage of crazed extremists from both the extreme left as well as the extreme right? Same thing! It won't last long now as a significant political force. It may last as something akin to libertarianism that only screams out it's woes from the sidelines.
  20. http://rt.com/news/169256-isis-create-islamic-state/ Scary proposition to think about. So the question is, can it be stopped? How should it be stopped? Are more US bombs on the civilian population going to stop it. Or is this calling for a totally new approach to the problem. Get all Western forces out of the ME and stop the meddling in their affairs. Bring the situation back to the peaceful situation on the Arabian peninsula before the meddling. Is ISIS bent on the destruction of all that isn't Muslim or is that just an invented justification for US led meddling for oil? Has it gone too far now and what was a phony justification now become a allout Jihadist effort to destroy the West and everything that isn't Islam? We may have reached a point of no return.
  21. The issue is, support the troops, support the troops, support the troops, over and over again until everyone has it firmly fixed in their heads that we absolutely have to support the troops. And therein lies the accomplishment of supporting any and all activities the 'troops' partake of. That's a real problem in my opinion. Let's call it like it is and only support that which should be supported. To even object to the wearing of camouflage items of clothing has been stigmatized by the propagandists as being unloyal and perhaps even subversive or traitorous to one's country. Criticism and objecting to it is what is required. What other method can we use to prevent the warring mentalities of the hawks from completely taking over our societies with their evil? Camaoflage wearing on a sports field is the glamourization of war.
  22. I understand the horror that religions bring into many societies. I understand the horror of people having their heads chopped off or women being stoned and beaten, just as well as I understand the horror of capital punishment being practiced in some Western societies. I also understand that this thread is not the place to discuss it so I invite you to start one that is. No, Obama or the US should not get involved in Iraq and Bush1 and Bush2 and the US never should have.
  23. Thanks. It's insulting to think that anyone wouldn't be aware of what I know about Russia and the Soviet Union at this stage of the game. LOL
  24. I would strongly suggest that Maliki is a US installed puppet gone bad.
  25. Don't call me childish. That's a personal attack against me and I'm sure you don't want to go there. I won't report it this time but I'm going to politely ask you not to repeat that sort of behaviour. This is not about me. Thanks!
