  1. This creates a reasonable set of rules that we can work with. It protects children from making life-changing decisions that they may regret later, and from political exploitation by transgender activists. As a parent, I approve wholeheartedly.
  2. My school would tell my parents everything. This is mostly about pre-adolescent kids. Here is a brief summary, which is hard to find above the din of shrieking transgender activists, page after page only giving their reactions as "shocked, scared, demoralized, hurt..." - Gender reassignment surgery is to be banned for those 17 and under. - For those 15 and under, puberty blockers and hormone therapies for the purpose of gender reassignment or affirmation would not be allowed, except for those who have already begun the process. - Youth who are 16 and 17 can begin hormone therapies if they are deemed mature enough and have parent, physician and psychologist approval. - In the classroom, parents would have to be notified and give consent for their child to be taught about gender identity, human sexuality and sexual orientation. - All third-party resource materials used to teach these subjects from kindergarten through Grade 12 must be approved in advance by the education ministry. - The province will also work with sport organizations to ensure women and girls do not have to compete against transgender female athletes. Transgender athletes would have a chance to compete through expanded coed leagues or other gender-neutral divisions. I simply do not see anything wrong with this. It still lets people make that decision for themselves once they are at a certain age. They won't need to get permission from their parents.
  3. Seems like you are really grasping at straws here. If that's the best you can do to complain about it, can't be that bad after all. A teacher does not know what you want to be called, it's on the attendance sheet and that's it. There should be no confusion about the student's identity. On the other hand if the students parents are notified and agree to make it an official change, they are allowed to do that. At that young an age, it is NOT something that concerns "only the student and the teacher". As a parent of children who were once young, I would never accept that my child has a secret with another adult not in my family. Why is that so hard for you people to get? 🤷‍♂️
  4. Should be interesting. Probably get a lot of views. A publicity win... for Carlson. But hey. I guess you pro-war types are feeling all outraged that someone would give Putin a chance to tell his side of things. Why would that be? Because then the WHOOLE house of cards might come tumblin down.
  5. If he's earned it, then what exactly is the argument you're looking for? People should be hired based on merit, not their skin colour. By the same Token... No one should be turned away because of skin colour either. As in these postings, indicating whites may not apply. It's simply obnoxious reverse racism plain and simple. What these race based hirings do is fill out the ledger on some beaurocrat's spreadsheet, so they can feel good about themselves. Them, and the Uni and hospital administration as well. All admin positions in these orgs are white dominated. Because they are the sons and daughters of wealthy elites in our country, who got them those cushy jobs. Whom are also, white dominated. Which is why they're falling apart... But you, po little whiy-boah, are goin down.
  6. I realize you're a bit of a dork, yaduka. But that's alright. There is room in my world for differently-abled.
  7. Some may do that, but others will see and hear about the fallout, such as those who regretted making their change. I think most kids will be alright despite the faulty messaging coming from radicals. They know, if it smells like poopoo. As for us "adults", is on us to speak out against bad government and to criticize. I will bet one dollar that the vast majority of parents resoundingly approve of Smith's new policies. We just don't get to hear their opinion, only the lgbtx point of view as per the federally bought media. Hey maybe even the Dofo might consider adopting it into ON. They are supposed to meet soon. But does he really have the testicular fortitude that she has? Naaa...
  8. Too many years of liberal poison, causing permanent structural changes, making the vital organs of society function improperly. We now need to detox and focus on clean living. Well, so the doc told me. But hopefully there is nothing actually new here that hasn't happened before. Liberals have exploited their position of power to the point it is now an empty shell. That's why we need sweeping reforms. Hence, Danielle Smith is a genius.
  9. Yeah but apparently he doesn't think so. Seems quite crabby lately. He must be going through man-opause.
  10. I see it more like am helping him to find his conservative identity. -Grooming him- if you will.
  11. Probably nothing. They are beyond help. They are but flotsam, chaff to be blown away in the wind.... 🌬️
  12. Well I question it, almost daily and I am not on the ignore list. Sometimes I wish I was though...
  13. This is where a real man (the forum moderator) would smack you up side of the head with a tuna fish, and give you a three day detention. But as it stand now little monkeys are able to stomp around all day crapping on other people's threads. Oh for the good old days...
  14. Well in that case we'd all better start packing up and moving back to the land of our ancestors then. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Welcome to the forums. You quickly found our most antagonistic, off-topic resident. Advice- do not feed. There's nothing wrong with your thread, or posting links to druthers. Is not against the forum rules. But trolling is, and Moonbuckethead knows all about the forum rules, eh @Moonbox? Maybe you should go rewrite 'em another time? Keep tryin.
  16. B-B-B cause. Beware drowning leftists who flail about in all directions, seeking to get hold of anything they can to stay afloat. Lest they take you down with them. .... Or like Pierre Poilievre said, everybody stay out of the water. Let' em drown.
  17. I'm not particularly good at mnemonics so I don't know. It's just that it reminded me of the time when I was new here, and you were mean to me as well. You seem in a bad mood today. Good morning!
  18. I tend to always confront bullies, even when they are bullying someone else. It's just my nature. You missed the point I was making, a person can have a different writing style especially coming from a different culture. Some also want to write out of a need to express themselves, to get understanding of their pov on a topic. You are being insensitive.
  19. 1. Because we allow politics to pervade every aspect of our lives, even arts and sciences. Eventually we get to a point where no one trusts the so-called experts anymore. People were a lot dumber back then as well. They needed the information from experts. More of us are well-educated these days. 2. Everyone brings themselves to the issue through our attitudes and life experiences. This is for the most part all opinion. I may write 'In my opinion... " or "I think...". Is just a matter of writing styles, and from different cultures. The poster identifies as black. Are you.. black?
  20. Ha ha, it isn't even enough to just accept them. You have to LOVE them. You have to date them. "Love me, damn you!!" Else you are a bigot...
  21. Speaking of being on topic wrt the OP... It seems you don't mind slandering others deeply held personal beliefs. Meanwhile my comments are much closer to the thread topic material itself, in that I showed that the sudden appearance of transgender debate in Canadian society stems from the fed, not from a need for change by the grassroots community. There actually is no big problem with gay rights in Canada that needs to be fixed, you yourself lamented the level of attention it gets. I showed you where it comes from, and how government leverages its power over institutions like schools, big media outlets to force their ideological agenda on Canadians. Polls be damned. You take a poll in the big city, take another in the country and get a totally different answer. That's why I believe it will go away substantially, but not COMPLETELY, when this Liberal government falls. In short, it is coming almost exclusively from THEM.
  22. I'm not here to prove the metaphysical. And besides, your time is up.
