  1. All that would happen then is their bastards would overrun us.
  2. Here is a very simple explanation: It's all conjecture and lies.
  3. They came to my door a few times, a couple of years ago. Was a young guy, teenager almost and a girl. I went out on the porch and asked what they wanted. They said "We want to talk to you about God." I said, ok. So we had a nice chat. After a while they could see I had my own religious beliefs and they wanted to encourage me to go to the Kingdom Hall. I told them I would not do that, nor attend any church really, because I don't associate those institutions with the true beliefs of Jesus Christ. This troubled them, and they left. They came back about two weeks later, this time the young guy, girl, and an old man. Brought out the reinforcements, I see. So me and the old man had a nice long discussion again, I talked about what I call "The institutionalization of Christ", which I feel is antithetical to the very words which Jesus is purported to have said. And same goes for Kingdom Hall. Eventually they tired of me and left on their own accord. They never returned.
  4. If it's still a problem, delete all yer cookies
  5. I seen them years ago. Even saw one where somebody painted a devils face in the smoke cloud. Is that the one you mean?
  6. I'm glad they found a way to stop Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Syria from being taken over by the Soviets, How you like that one, Komrad
  7. You're getting warmer my friend. I suggest more research is needed...
  8. Without US intervention you would be singing "Soyuz Nerushimi" right now.
  9. It was used as a bunker buster. It had a very high mass and hardened tip for maximum penetration into the ground. That was its purpose. The fact that 35 people died is coincidental. US should be congratulated for carrying out the mission with only minimal casualties. Instead, we hear complaints from the most bizarre corners that not enough people died.
  10. Some of these weapons have maintenance costs, and a shelf life. Must use before "best before" date expires. There's plenty of spare ordnance.
  11. Its value as a mission also includes destruction of the militant's underground complex. That's probably the main reason this type of weapon was used. No messing around with mercenaries, just one short, swift strike. I would call this mission a complete success. Hiring mercenaries would probably be the worst thing they could do. As you see in Mosul, these things can drag on and on. Because mercenaries are just doing their job, man. And if the war ends, then what? They'd be out of work. No more US money.
  12. I think it was a single bomb with 11 tons of TNT. Aka Daisy cutter. In this case more of a bunker-buster, really. Hiroshima being about 20k tons, the comparison to nuclear is trivial.
  13. Interesting in that it implies there is a natural cycle to the economy, that it needs to change as the situation changes globally, all players working to put themselves in a position of greatest advantage. Once the wealth in a local system is fully exploited, it's time to move on. In Marxist terms a new system might benefit the proletariat but once the bourgeoisie attain power the system is in decline.
  14. Change when appropriate and when useful outcomes are identified is good. Not all change is good, and not all things that are "old" are useless or bad. That place in the middle where everything is perfect and good is far more boring than you realize.
  15. That's how "Progressives" finally and ultimately take themselves over a cliff.
  16. The silence is like gold...

I think they're saying that things were "hot enough" and are glad that things have cooled down a bit.

  17. Sure they would... by your reckoning eventually the wages would rise the be the same as a tradesman or even a medical professional. Nonsense. All this idea leads to is more of the same problem. Even worse, since it amounts to state communism.
  18. Exactly. Same goes for vaccinations.
  19. What would prevent thousands of youth who find it hard to get a decent job to simply give up looking, relax and stay home? Why would anyone want to work a menial, dirty job if they no longer have to?
  20. Hilarious. It should be noted that poor Don did not die of old age, he died of congestive outrage failure. His death marks the end of an era.
  21. But the disaster could also be blamed on Chretien.
  22. We are a research project.

Haha! I hope so. Otherwise none of this makes sense.

  23. It is strange. I have a suspicion that this is being allowed for a reason, perhaps to judge our responses. Maybe someone at the university is doing research. I know it sounds bizarre but that's the only way I can rationalize the double-standard.
