  1. At least that is their stated objective. The right needs reform, it needs a clear voice. It needs a leader of greatness...
  2. Plenty of leftists don't want federalism, but prefer to live in small autonomous communes. More power for the small-minded.
  3. Yes I know, but it's funny how political morons can come back to haunt you later on. After all that's said and done, he was right about the CPC. He answers your thread succinctly. We are the political morons now.
  4. I think you pointed out that LPC hijacked the name "Liberal" which appeals to identity by name-branding, and renders any opponents as non-liberal. The name "Progressive Conservative" was in a way chosen to counter that. The Conservative Party dropped the progressive part in their name, and inherently lost this war. I say no one can be electable. There is not a Joe Clark among them. ==== I bet Joe Clark is having a nice large glass of "I told you so," this year... Link Merry Christmas Joe. Yes I know it is sweet at first, but with a bitter finsih
  5. Mr. Trudeau has zero knowledge or experience to deal with China. His own virtue signalling and subsequent fall from grace has rendered him impotent in foreign affairs, especially with a conservative country like China. He is not seen as a man of good character, but rather a straw dog. Paper tiger Like leaves in the wind. The sound of one hand clapping, and stuff.

  6. Yep. I heard all cultures have a celebration to mark around the date Dec. 32. I like how Christmas is right after solstice because by then, you know, thank God it's over.
  7. No, but they should become more Progressive. That would be cool, Progressive Conservatives.
  8. At least wait until springtime, so you can go pound sand for awhile after.
  9. What we could do to make it even better is put on more limits. Restrict not just hate speech, but anything that is subversive! Schlachthaus funf!
  10. Yep. Entropy increaseth. You are certainly evidence of that.
  11. Trump approval rating goes up to 45%. This is the official gallup poll. Trump Approval Inches Up, While Support for Impeachment Dips WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Donald Trump's job approval rating has inched up again and is now at 45%. The president's ratings have increased six percentage points since the House of Representatives opened an impeachment inquiry against him in the fall.

  13. The left would like to deny the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
  14. Maybe compared to others, but I disagree that they are neutral. And opinion panels are the very thing being used to shape the agenda. Get yer bias confirmation here. News outlets today seek to entertain for the purpose of increased viewership, =more revenue. By making the news more compelling, they will attract and keep the attention of more viewers. Ratings up, advertisement sales go up. They do this by applying a more dramatic presentation format. = Hype. Conclusion: More hype = more drama = more people watching. So now this is how they make money, by blending real world and entertainment world into a media product. This is not news without bias. It is leading people by the nose.

  17. War is carbon.

The clash of superpowers takes priority over all other issues. You can't wage effective war and reduce carbon at the same time. If we want to get these countries on board with reducing emissions, we have to make war more environmentally friendly. Like solar powered tanks, and bicycle rocket launchers.

Thanks. Or I could go with a name like the Progressive Luddite Party of Canada, which is PLPC.

  19. No problem. As a beer drinker, I understand what this means to you... cheers
  20. It's like music, as in "Thy screams of impotent rage are music to my ears." Let's listen together... sweet, isn't it? There, we have something in common
  21. Well let me give you even better news then. Yes they are! I have already quaffed some at a local pub. I kid you not, that is how I came to find out! Went in there and asked what do they have on tap. She gives off a list of the usual nouveau-craft experiments, progressive triple pine, sour grapefruit radler... I have that kind of tired, but patient and determined look on my face... I will endure this. Then she says "Tetley's, ..." I was puzzled. Surely you don't mean Tetleys? Yes, Tetley's ale. My whole demeanor changed. Alright, please bring some. After she went off I said to my wife, "It's probably not the real thing. Some kind of faux Tetley's, I'm sure. Probably made by Molson." And we all know what Molson did, to Rickard's Red. So I sat there feeling kinda glum. Did they ruin Tetley's too? But then it came, and I could tell right away by the colour! That same creamy white head, thick as a Guiness. Yep, the same. How do they do that, these geniuses of malt, hops and barley.
